Pure Love Imprisoned: My Ex-Boyfriend, Who Blamed Me, Imprisoned Me in Love
Chapter 4: Dismember her by five horses
He Duoye got out of the car, smoking a cigarette.
After the transaction in the rainforest was completed, the caravan split into two groups. One group followed him here, while the other group went straight back to the manor.
Before them stood a rather large stilted building, with several private armed men guarding the area. Upon seeing He Duoye, their gazes immediately turned towards him.
He Duoye, a cigarette dangling from his lips, strode forward.
He went up to the second-floor terrace and walked past the gatekeeper.
"Uncle Kang Nuo." He Duoye raised the corners of his lips and, without any hesitation, pulled out a bamboo chair and sat down opposite him.
Connor was a local, over fifty years old, lean, with graying temples, but his eyes were very bright. He was unusually lacking in the fierceness and rudeness of the locals, instead possessing a restraint and gentleness similar to that of the Chinese.
He speaks Mandarin very well, and even understands and loves Chinese culture better than He Duoye.
Uncle Kang Nuo brewed a cup of mild and mellow black tea, pushed it in front of He Duoye, and said with a smile, "I heard you picked someone up in the woods."
He Duoye picked up his cup, swirled it around, and smiled, "Yes, I've found a fun treasure."
Uncle Connor smiled gently and said, "You seem to be in a good mood. Could it really be your first love?"
"Don't be so mushy," He Duoye said lazily, swirling his glass. "What are his orders this time?"
This "he" refers to Kang Nuo Shu's master, He Duoye's biological father.
Uncle Connor didn't continue the previous topic. He said softly, "You've been acting too flamboyantly lately. Your father is worried that something might have happened to you, so he sent me to check on you."
It was said to be a look, but in reality it was a warning, telling him to restrain his behavior and be as obedient as before.
He Duoye lit a cigarette, his tall body leaning back in the chair, exuding a nonchalant yet arrogant arrogance.
He laughed: "Tell him not to worry, I won't die before him."

Lin Mian was blindfolded and didn't know how long the car had been driving, but after a very long time, it finally stopped.
She was grabbed by the arm and dragged out of the car. Stumbling along, she only vaguely knew that she had entered a room in a building and was tied to a cold chair.
The sound of the door closing followed, and the space fell silent.
The unfamiliar and quiet environment was unsettling; I didn't know where I was or what dangers lurked around me.
Lin Mian was restless and anxious, but she forced herself to calm down.
First of all, no matter how anxious or worried she is, she can't change her current situation, so she might as well calm down.
Secondly, this place is very likely He Duoye's lair.
He probably...wouldn't want to kill her, would he?
Although she was the one who initiated the breakup, that bastard He Duoye didn't try to stop her; he simply disappeared. So, when it comes to assigning responsibility, it's a 50/50 split.
Lost in thought, I suddenly heard the door open.
Lin Mian turned her head and heard unfamiliar footsteps. She had a strange intuition that the person was not He Duoye.
The man walked up to Lin Mian, his cold fingers pinching her chin, lifting her face, and scanning her up and down with his gaze.
"She's not bad looking, is she? Pure and clean-cut." The man's voice was somewhat effeminate as he commented on Lin Mian. "Her skin is quite fair, and, well, quite delicate."
Lin Mian shook off his hand and asked, "Who are you?"
Instead of answering Lin Mian's question, the man asked her, "I heard you were Third Master's ex-girlfriend. I guess you met him when he was a teenager, right?"
Lin Mian really wanted to ask him how he knew, but she held back.
"What are you trying to say?"
The man gave a sinister laugh, much like the cunning eunuch in a TV drama.
He placed something on Lin Mian's arm; it was cool, heavy, and could slide.
Lin Mian instantly got goosebumps and almost screamed.
It's a snake!
He placed a very thick snake on Lin Mian's arm. The cold scales slid against Lin Mian's skin, slowly coiling around her arm and crawling up her neck.
Lin Mian immediately struggled to her feet, almost falling over along with the chair.
The man reached out and pressed down on the snake, and also on Lin Mian: "Do you know what a pheasant's neck is?"
Lin Mian had read the novel and knew it was a very venomous snake.
"A snake more venomous than a cobra; one bite and it'll kill you," the man said. "So, whatever I ask you from now on, just answer me honestly."
The venomous snake had already crawled to Lin Mian's neck, emitting a terrifying hiss.
Lin Mian's mind went blank, and she was so scared that she broke out in a cold sweat.
"When did you meet He Duoye?" he asked.
Lin Mian tilted her head to avoid the snake. She knew she had to answer, but she didn't want to be interrogated like this.
In her memory, her ex-boyfriend He Duoye was very vengeful. If he found out that she had betrayed him here, she didn't know how he would settle the score later.
This guy has now become the boss of a dangerous criminal organization, and he might just tear her apart.
"We knew each other before..." Lin Mian said.
The man said in a sinister tone, "Trying to beat around the bush with me... Looks like you're pretty stubborn."
Lin Mian tilted her head, trying her best to avoid the snake that was almost licking her cheek: "What's your relationship with He Duoye? Don't you know him?"
"I didn't expect that you, with your seemingly innocent and naive face, would be so cunning, trying to trick me into revealing information, huh?"
He suddenly took the snake away.
"Since you're not afraid of snakes, we'll let you try something else."
He called in a few people, who took Lin Mian from the chair and stumbled along the way to another place.
Lin Mian smelled the stuffy scent of the grass, mixed with a somewhat familiar stench. After a few seconds, she realized it was the same stench she had smelled at a zoo before.
As if confirming her memory, she suddenly heard a tiger's roar.
With the blindfold removed, Lin Mian regained her vision, and the light was so bright that she squinted.
As darkness fell, she saw herself standing on a platform in the glow of the setting sun. Below her was a lush green meadow, and several majestic tigers were circling at her feet.
Perhaps sensing the human scent, the tiger would occasionally raise its head and exhale heavy breaths at the people above.
Lin Mian was so frightened that she took a step back.
The man who looked like a eunuch stood next to Lin Mian, with a delicate, pale face and sunglasses hanging from the collar of his floral shirt.
He waved his hand, and two henchmen immediately came over, took off Lin Mian's dirty shoes, tied Lin Mian's arms, used a pulley to hoist her high up, and then lowered her into the web of her hand.
The tigers below immediately gathered around, some even standing on their hind legs, and Chong Linmian roared.
Unlike the fear of not being able to see it, seeing a tiger pounce on your feet is a more direct and intense fear. Lin Mian's legs went numb, and she screamed in terror, struggling incessantly.
Her arm was being pulled painfully, and the sense of danger as the tiger's sharp claws brushed past her bare feet filled her with even greater fear.
She could even clearly feel the heat emanating from the tiger.
Lin Mian screamed without any regard for her image.
The pretty boy had someone pull Lin Mian over, and he asked, "Now can you honestly answer my questions?"
Lin Mian was so frightened that her face turned deathly pale, and her voice trembled as she asked, "What do you want to know?"
"How did you and He Duoye meet? How did you start dating? How did you break up?" His peach blossom eyes gleamed with excitement. "Tell me everything, down to the last detail."
Lin Mian pursed her lips.
She did not speak.
The pretty boy raised an eyebrow with interest: "You're quite stubborn..."
With a wave of his hand, Lin Mian was hoisted up again and released into the tiger pack.
The tiger lunged at her repeatedly, and Lin Mian kicked her feet in terror. This time, the rope was lowered even further, and she even kicked the tiger in the head, its sharp fangs scraping against the sole of her foot.
In that instant, the tiger roared, and Lin Mian screamed and burst into tears in terror.
In extreme terror, she began to shout He Duoye's name.
The rope swayed back and forth, and through her swaying vision, Lin Mian finally saw He Duoye's tall, mature, yet unfamiliar figure.
He appeared on the platform at some point, standing on the edge, looking down at her struggling and screaming with a blank expression.
