Chapter 14.014. The Weasleys and Platform Nine and Three-Quarters

"How am I going to explain this to Ron? I promised him that I would give Banban to him to raise after he enrolled in school, but now it's lost. Our family is so poor, we really can't afford to buy him a new pet..."

Percy looked frustrated, but he wasn't very good at talking.

Mrs. Weasley's face darkened, but she still comforted her third son.

"Alright, so what if Banban ran away? It's just a mouse; it'll be fine without us. It's getting late, the train's about to leave, and we have to go."

"Excuse me for interrupting..." Lynn took two steps toward the Weasleys, leaned over and spoke to attract their attention.

"I didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation, but...did you throw this mouse away?"

He held the spotted mouse by its tail and handed it to Mrs. Weasley, who looked as listless as if she were on drugs.

Immediately, the four Weasley brothers surrounded them with delight.

"That's great, Blister didn't get lost." Percy excitedly took Blister from Lynn's hands, looking at him with gratitude.

"Thank you."

George and Fred, on the other hand, immediately put their arms around Lynn, whom they had just met.

"My name is Fred, this is George, and these are Percy and Charlie. We all have the surname Weasley. And that's our mother. Thank you so much for bringing Scabbers back. I don't think I've seen you at school before. Are you a new student at Hogwarts? What's your name?"

Although Lynn was thick-skinned, he was still a little uncomfortable being treated so intimately on their first meeting. Mrs. Weasley noticed Lynn's embarrassment and angrily slapped away the twins' arms that were on his shoulders, scolding him.

"Manners! I've told you all to be polite in public, otherwise people will say we Weasleys have no manners!"

Her expression immediately softened.

"Thank you, child. Are you going to the station? Didn't your parents come to see you off?"

"It's alright, madam. My parents are just ordinary people, so they didn't come." Lynn wasn't lying on purpose, but he had seen far too many pitiful looks from them. Although they weren't malicious, he was still annoyed by them.

Mrs. Weasley smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

"It's getting late. If you don't mind, you can come in with us."

"Of course I don't mind, Madam. I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Lynn Belloc, and I'm a first-year student at Hogwarts this year."

Having received an affirmative answer, Mrs. Weasley immediately urged her son on.

"Hurry up, the train is about to leave. Charlie, go in first, then Lynn follow behind. Don't be nervous, kid. Just close your eyes and go through. Next, Percy, George, and Fred. I'll stay last."

Charlie followed Mrs. Weasley's instructions and went through the wall first, while the twins George and Fred grinned and winked at each other.

"Look, Mom always treats other people's children as her own. We were all adopted."

"Of course, Mom's love is boundless; she can love all the children in the world, but she's strict with us. Ouch! Ouch, ouch... Mom, we were wrong!"

Mrs. Weasley grabbed one of the twins by each ear and said irritably, "What nonsense are you spouting? You're already showing your true colors before we're even at Hogwarts. What will you do when we get there?"

These twins certainly have some wild personalities.

Lynn thought to herself, then followed Charlie, jogging along the wall.

He tried to force himself to keep his eyes open, but when he was less than half a meter from the wall, his brain's reflexes kicked in.

He instinctively closed his eyes, and then everything went black.

The next moment, it was as if he had passed through something, yet it was also as if he hadn't passed through anything at all.

"Alright, Lynn, that's enough, you can stop now."

He heard Charlie's voice in his ear, and then Lynn stopped and opened his eyes again.

A bright red steam train came into his view.

There is a prominent sign in the center of the front of the car that reads:

The Hogwarts Express departs at 11:00 AM sharp.

The surrounding noise reached his ears—the dragging of suitcases, the hooting of owls, and the chatter of students and their families—but Lynn did not find it annoying at all.

This place, like Diagon Alley, is a world unique to wizards.

Soon after him, Percy, the Weasley twins, and Mrs. Weasley also passed through the wall and arrived at the station.

Without offering any further instructions, Mrs. Weasley clapped her hands.

"Alright, kids, you're about to start a new semester. As always, safety is the most important thing."

Also, George and Fred, you two should stop playing pranks. You've only been in school for a year and you've already given the castle caretaker so many complaints that he's written me a lot of letters. You're really something. Percy, you're in charge of supervising them. Whatever they do, you have to report it to me. Don't force me to write you two yelling letters.

Remember to take good care of your new friend Lynn, and don't lead him astray into doing those silly pranks with you.

George and Fred exchanged a knowing glance, raised their eyebrows, and said in unison.

"We'll be good, Mom."

Mrs. Weasley didn't believe her two mischievous sons' promises at all, and in the end she even gave Lynn a sandwich she made herself as a thank you gift, telling him not to mind it.

Lynn readily accepted, and after saying goodbye to Mrs. Weasley, he boarded the Hogwarts Express with the four Weasley brothers.

After they put their suitcases away, Charlie and Percy went off to find their friends.

George and Fred, who remained, were a year older than Lynn, and they extended an invitation.

"Would you like to sit in the same carriage as us? We can introduce you to our friends. Gryffindor students are all talented and have such pleasant voices."

After hesitating for a moment, Lynn ultimately refused them.

"No, I'll find a carriage for new students. Everyone's just starting out, so it'll be easier to get along if we talk beforehand. But once we get to Hogwarts, I'll need your help to familiarize myself with the school."

Upon hearing this, George and Fred immediately puffed out their chests and patted their own chests.

"You've come to the right person. When it comes to understanding Hogwarts, even the professor might not be as knowledgeable as us."

See you at school then. I hope you get sorted into Gryffindor.

After parting ways with the Weasley brothers, Lynn leisurely wandered around the train carriages.

He eventually found a cubicle that wasn't full yet.

He sat down and introduced himself with a smile.

"Hello, I am Lynn Bellock."
