My Hogwarts has a serious problem.

Chapter 15.015. The Newly Enrolled Rookie

Chapter 15.015. The Newly Enrolled Rookie

There was only one boy sitting in the private room.

His long, flowing silver hair was very eye-catching, and his skin was so white that it even looked somewhat unhealthy.

There was a book on the table. Although the cover was not visible, Lynn knew from a glance that it was the Charms textbook, "Standard Spells, Beginner".

Lynn's greeting went unanswered. The boy simply glanced at him expressionlessly with his blue eyes before refocusing his attention on his book.

Fortunately, Lynn had a thick skin and didn't feel embarrassed at this moment. He tried to start a conversation to rebuild his social relationship.

"The Restoration Charm is indeed a very convenient spell." He noticed the spell the boy was looking at and tried to find common ground.

"But this spell seems to be a relatively late-stage course in the first year. I've tried it many times at home according to the instructions in the textbook, but I haven't succeeded even once."

The boy looked up from his book, his expression indifferent.

Please keep quiet when others are reading.

Lynn lost interest in communicating after being met with indifference.

He silently thought to himself, "What an arrogant kid," and shrugged.

"Okay, if you're not in the mood for conversation, I'll just stay quiet."

The boy continued looking at his spellbook, while Lynn stared blankly out the window, bored.

Although they had only been apart for less than three hours, he suddenly missed Hermione.

The chattering little girl is infinitely cuter than this little boy.

After that, the two didn't communicate much anymore.

Lynn had no intention of changing rooms, so she just sat there with the unknown boy across from her.

At noon, a witch came by selling candy from a cart. Although Lynn loved sweets, she didn't buy anything in the end.

Mrs. Weasley gave him a sandwich before he got in the car, which was enough for his lunch.

The aloof boy seemed to have no appetite and didn't eat anything for lunch.

Even as the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky grew completely dark, with bright lights illuminating the private room, the two of them did not speak again.

The boy was still studying the spellbook. He read very slowly, as if he had to read a page three times. After so much time, he had only finished half of the spellbook.

Five minutes before arriving at Hogwarts, the boy closed his book, stuffed it into his suitcase, and then took out his Hogwarts robe and put it on.

Lynn wasn't idle either; he changed into his school uniform and then walked out of the compartment after the train came to a complete stop.

The train stopped in front of a small, dilapidated platform.

Although the breeze was slightly chilly, the weather was fine tonight. There were no clouds in the sky, and the shining stars and bright crescent moon were clearly visible.

Students of all ages disembarked from the train. The older students chatted and laughed, while the new students stood nervously in place, unsure of what to do next.

Just then, a loud voice rang out.

"First-year students! Come over here."

Lynn looked in the direction of the sound and saw a giant with a large beard standing among a bunch of tiny creatures, holding a pink umbrella that was a stark contrast to his size.

Because the landmark was very obvious, the freshmen quickly gathered around Hagrid.

At that moment, a girl standing next to Lynn suddenly looked up at the sky.

"Is it raining?"

Lynn was somewhat puzzled: "It's unlikely to rain today."

"Then why is that person holding an umbrella?"

Lynn looked in the direction she was pointing and sure enough saw a large black umbrella open among the new students.

The freshmen around the umbrella were already somewhat uneasy. When an oddball with an umbrella suddenly appeared among them on a sunny day, they scattered like a flock of startled chicks, keeping a distance from the boy under the black umbrella.

The silver-haired boy holding the black umbrella seemed oblivious to the reactions of those around him. He remained standing there with a cold, pale face and a calm gaze.

Hagrid roughly counted the number of people, and after confirming that no one was missing, he raised an eyebrow at the silver-haired boy.

"Child, are you so nervous that you've lost your mind? Today is a rare beautiful day, you don't need to use an umbrella."

"It's not for shelter from the rain, it's for something else." The boy's voice was stiff, and it didn't sound like he was explaining.

Hagrid didn't care. He had taken on many new students, and it wasn't strange that a few oddballs would occasionally appear.

"Since you insist, then so be it. Listen, children, from now on you must stick close to me and not fall behind. I will lead you into Hogwarts."

Lynn glanced at the boy completely shrouded in the black umbrella, then silently followed behind Hagrid.

The wizarding world is not a peaceful place, and even Hogwarts is not absolutely safe, so Lynn had no intention of investigating other people's secrets.

He is curious, of course, but he won't let his curiosity cause trouble.

The freshmen followed Hagrid, parted ways with the upperclassmen at the platform, and walked into a path through the woods.

The road was somewhat rugged, and even though Hagrid deliberately slowed his pace, it was still quite difficult for a group of eleven-year-old children to keep up with his large strides.

The dense foliage of the trees blocked out the starlight and moonlight from the sky.

As they ventured deeper, Lynn could no longer see whether the path on either side was still part of the same forest. Apart from the hurried footsteps and breathing of the new students, all they could hear was the rustling of leaves in the evening breeze and the call of an owl.

They walked on like this for an unknown amount of time, until they made a sharp turn. Hagrid suddenly stopped, and a little wizard right behind him almost bumped into him on the butt.

"See that? That's Hogwarts, the place where you'll be living for the next seven years."

Hagrid pointed to a colossal structure in front of them and said proudly.

The new students then realized that what lay ahead of them was no longer a dark forest path.

The narrow road suddenly opened up ahead, revealing a huge lake blocking their way.

The black lake was calm and still, reflecting the stars and the waning moon, like a mirror embedded in the earth.

Behind the lake is a huge castle built between two mountains, with countless corner towers and high towers.

The towering roof, like a wizard's pointed hat, seemed to be filled with knowledge and unknown mysteries.

Many young wizards couldn't help but gasp in amazement at this spectacular scene.

Even Lynn was lost in thought as he stared at the ancient castle in the mountains not far away.

He was not only shocked by the building in front of him, a building that he had only ever seen in movies and TV shows, but also by a series of voices from the system that echoed in his mind.
