Douluo Continent: A Man of Unparalleled Talent and Heaven-Defying Comprehension

Chapter 7 The Development of Martial Souls and the Choice of Soul Rings (Please add to your favorites!!! Please continue reading!!!)

"Spirit rings are of utmost importance to a Soul Master."

It's not just because of the abilities provided by the spirit ring itself, but also because of the spirit ring's effect on promoting the evolution of the martial spirit.

The entire cultivation process of a Soul Master is actually a series of evolutions of their Martial Soul.

Each time a spirit ring is absorbed, it represents an evolution of the martial spirit and an exploration of its power.

For a weak martial soul, this is an evolution.

For a powerful martial soul, this is an exploration of its power and an enhancement of its strength.

Su Yu's martial soul is just the most ordinary Blue Silver Grass, but his spirit rings are much more important to him.

Because the Blue Silver Grass has too many limitations when cultivated normally, Su Yu has already experienced this firsthand over the past month and a half. If he cannot fundamentally evolve his martial soul, he will sooner or later be stuck at a certain level due to the limitations of his martial soul.

Plan ahead.

This is what Su Yu needs to do.

To plan the direction of martial spirit enhancement, one must first have an understanding of martial spirit.

"Tang San's Blue Silver Grass cultivation is utterly a pile of dog shit. I don't know where the master got the courage to make such a combination."

If it weren't for the Clear Sky Hammer martial soul supporting him, and if he hadn't awakened the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline later on, he probably would have been completely useless.

Moreover, even with the awakening of the Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, the selection of spirit rings beforehand still significantly limits the growth of the martial spirit.

Su Yu wasn't belittling anyone; he was just stating the facts.

This is an incredibly stupid thing to do.

Blue Silver Grass is a combination of poison and resilience.

It sounds reasonable, but upon closer inspection, what kind of rubbish theory is this?

"Blue Silver Grass is fragile. Even if it absorbs spirit rings to improve these aspects, it is still not as effective as the enhancement of a spirit that has advantages in these aspects."

"They're already lacking, yet they keep trying to compensate in this area. Who can they possibly catch up to?"

That's bad enough, but damn it, they even added both toughness and toxicity.

Too much to chew.

The master had covered almost everything that Su Yu had summarized about the things to pay attention to when choosing a spirit ring.

"Isn't the most striking characteristic of Blue Silver Grass its tenacious vitality?"

Blue Silver Grass can be found everywhere on Douluo Star, because its vigorous vitality allows it to adapt to all environments.

To blossom with one's own life.

"Therefore, Blue Silver Grass should focus on increasing vitality and specialize in it."

Su Yu had an idea: he wanted to add all nine spirit rings to his life force.

When choosing a soul ring, you might consider some additional attributes to appropriately increase the Blue Silver Grass's resilience and strength, but the most important attribute must be vitality.

With vitality, the blue silver grass can grow more tenaciously.

In terms of martial spirit, that means gradually increasing the level of spirit power.

Su Yu possesses extraordinary comprehension and is confident in creating his own soul skills. The Blue Silver Grass, with its immense vitality, is the perfect subject for his development.

With sufficient vitality, there is a foundation for development in any direction. With a foundation, anything is possible.

Even without Su Yu's comprehension and ability to develop his own soul skill, this theory is still entirely useful.

Blue Silver Herb isn't a combat-type martial soul. Forcing it to be combat-oriented will only lead it astray. Adding some vitality at least provides a guarantee that your soul power can continue to increase.

If you can't even raise your soul power level, what's the point of having combat ability?

"Isn't Blue Silver Grass support a good option?"

Adding some vitality will definitely allow you to obtain healing-type soul skills.

Su Yu began preparing his soul rings a month ago.

He spent two gold soul coins to buy a basic soul beast manual, study the characteristics of soul beasts, and choose a soul beast that suits him.

"The Purple Crystal Fruit Tree is a unique plant-type soul beast that produces translucent purple fruits, each containing powerful energy. Eating these fruits allows soul masters to quickly recover their physical strength and soul power."

The Amethyst Fruit Tree itself possesses immense vitality; absorbing it as a Soul Ring should enhance the Blue Silver Grass's vitality.

However, soul skills may very well develop in a support direction.

While Blue Silver Grass is indeed suitable for support roles, that's only true for ordinary people who can't create their own soul skills; developing a support role is the most suitable option for them.

Su Yu is different.

As long as the Blue Silver Grass itself has enough vitality to support it, it can develop powerful soul skills on its own.

Therefore, he only needs to grasp the most essential point of his theory, which is to add vitality.

The amethyst fruit tree meets the requirements in terms of vitality.

However, for Su Yu in the early stages, it would be even better to add some effects that could improve the toughness and strength of the Blue Silver Grass while increasing vitality.

The biggest drawback of the Purple Crystal Fruit Tree is its fragile trunk, making it one of the more fragile tree-type spirit beasts.

"Star Spirit Vine is a vine that mutates due to the power of stars, and can absorb the power of stars and transform it into soul power."

The Star Spirit Vine has a very strong vitality, especially when it is damaged, it can absorb the power of stars to recover.

Moreover, having been tempered by the power of the stars, this Star Spirit Vine is also top-tier in terms of toughness and strength.

It can be said that this Star Spirit Vine is a soul ring that perfectly meets Su Yu's needs.

However, there are also drawbacks. Star Spirit Vine is relatively rare and has demanding growth requirements, needing to absorb the power of stars to survive.

Although the night sky over Wangyue City is very bright, and the power of stars may be abundant, it doesn't necessarily mean that there will be Star Spirit Vine.

But at least there is hope.

This is also one of the reasons why Su Yu listed it as one of his options.

Besides the Purple Crystal Fruit Tree and the Star Spirit Vine, Su Yu was also interested in other soul beasts such as the Dragon Scale Vine.

Dragon Scale Vine is named for its appearance; the vine has layers of keratinous layers resembling dragon scales. Dragon Scale Vine is also unparalleled in its toughness and strength, with its scale-like keratinous layers providing excellent defense.

The most important thing is the Dragon Scale Vine, which has a strong vitality and even possesses a soul skill that can unleash life force.

Su Yu compiled a list of the soul beasts he needed and noted their characteristics.

"The biggest problem I'm facing now is, how do I get into the Soul Hunter's Forest?"

There are also spirit beasts in the wild, but there are very few types of spirit beasts, and they are hard to find in small groups. Moreover, there are no particularly rare species.

The closest and most convenient place is obviously the Soul Hunting Forest in Wangyue City.

However, a letter of recommendation is required to enter the Soul Hunter Forest.

Recommendation letters may seem difficult to obtain, but they are actually quite easy to understand in other words.

"We need money!"
