"Did the flame behind the door flicker just now?" Harry asked, squinting, somewhat uncertainly.

Embarrassingly, Daphne completely ignored him.

The preparation of the fireproof potion had reached its most crucial moment. If Daphne still had any distracting thoughts about making the potion, it was why she hadn't gagged Harry before starting to prepare it.

"Okay, maybe I'm seeing things."

"Sigh, I wonder what the next level will be like—do you really think fire retardant can get through that wall of fire?"

"How much longer will it take to complete the process?"

"..."

Finally, Daphne's fire retardant potion was successfully formulated.

"Awesome! Fantastic!" Harry didn't hold back his praise.

Daphne narrowed her eyes and gave a sweet smile: "It's nothing. But, Potter, there's something I need to tell you."

"Go ahead." Faced with Daphne, who had prepared the fireproof potion, Harry wished he could replace the image of the Virgin Mary in Devonshire Cathedral with a picture of Daphne. Harry would absolutely grant any request Daphne made.

"Next time I'm mixing potions, if you say another word, even just one, I'll cut out your tongue to use as a potion base."

Harry: ...

"Alright, drink the potion." Daphne divided the potion into two small bottles and then handed one of them to Harry.

The two drank the fire-retardant potion together and shuddered simultaneously.

The potion tasted like ice water; drinking it gave them the feeling of stepping out into the winter wind in just their pajamas. As they passed through the fire door, the black flames actually provided a bit of warmth. Crossing the black flames, they successfully entered the last room.

A person who made Harry's pupils dilate drastically was standing in that room.

"Professor Quirrell, you?!" Harry gasped in shock.

Daphne slapped her hand hard: "Now you can finally believe Professor Snape's innocence!"

Quirrell smiled; his face was no longer twitching, and he was no longer stuttering.

"I have to thank Snape. He was like a giant target, drawing everyone's attention so that I could successfully execute this great plan." Quirrell looked extremely proud.

He believed he had fooled everyone, including the great Dumbledore.

"Miss Greengrass, I received a lot of help from your father at the school. For his sake, you can go back. This place has nothing to do with you. I swear on the Black Lake, you will return to the castle unharmed." After mocking Harry a few times, Quirrell turned to Daphne, indicating that he could let her go.

Quirrell's magnanimity had nothing to do with Daphne's father; it was simply that Daphne had left a very deep impression on Quirrell that night, and this time he decided to outsmart her.

Quirrell had already decided that he would kill her with the Killing Curse when she turned around.

The girl seemed terrified, and she nodded blankly. Seeing that she had fallen for his trap, Quirrell was overjoyed, but before this joy could fill his mind, a terrifyingly powerful spell was cast upon him.

If Voldemort hadn't taken over Quirrell's body, Daphne would have succeeded by now.

"You're asking for it!" Quirrell, who was nearly cut in two, was furious. He instinctively tried to retaliate, but found that he had completely lost control of his body.

Voldemort finally stopped hiding it; after today, Quirrell's body would be discarded like disposable tableware in a restaurant.

Quirrell's headscarf unfurled in circles, and during this time, Daphne took advantage of Quirrell's obscured vision to launch attacks time and time again, but he easily deflected them all—semi-transparent shields appeared precisely in the path of Daphne's attack magic, deflecting them all.

Quirrell's eyesight seemed to have improved even with his eyes covered by a headscarf.

When the last layer of the scarf was removed, Daphne and Harry were both stunned: Quirrell had an extremely hideous and terrifying face on the back of his head. The face was as white as chalk, with two long, thin nostrils like snakes beneath his bright red eyes.

It is practically the embodiment of the word "evil".

"Good child, put down your wand, and I will forgive your sins," the face spoke to Daphne in a whisper.

"A child of the Greengrass family? Truly rare, pure bloodline, the blood of a wizard should not be wasted... Submit to me, and I will bestow upon you glory beyond your wildest dreams."

Daphne felt a churning in her stomach; the look in those eyes made her want to vomit.

She responded with wind blades, fireballs, and ice spikes, but these attacks couldn't even make the monster retreat a single step. For the first time since enrolling, Daphne felt despair—she hadn't felt this desperate even when she was nearly eaten by a giant.

"What a pity..." Voldemort shook his head, no longer hiding the coldness in his eyes.

The removed headscarf began to move like a snake, swimming towards Daphne.

Seeing Daphne in danger, Harry panicked and tried to do something, but Voldemort simply conjured a rope and tied him up.

He couldn't even be bothered to waste words with Harry.

Voldemort felt both humiliated and amused: how could he have lost to such a guy? He couldn't figure it out no matter how hard he tried.

Daphne flew directly into the air, trying to dodge Voldemort's attack.

"Oh?" Voldemort was even more surprised now. He hadn't expected that this little girl from the Greengrass family would actually possess flying magic.

He casually cast a few spells at Daphne, watching her scramble to dodge his attacks, much like a cat toying with a mouse it had caught.

Daphne had only one thought in her mind: she really wanted to cast a curse on that disgusting face, even if it was just for a moment!

In the blink of an eye, she saw herself in the mirror—her hair disheveled, her face pale, like a stray dog.

A thought popped into Daphne's mind: There's a mirror here? She hadn't noticed it at all.

Then she saw herself in the mirror reach into her pocket, take out a crystal ball, wink at herself, and put the crystal ball back into her pocket. Then, Daphne felt something heavy really fall into the inside pocket of her robe.

She reached in, and sure enough, the crystal ball was already in her pocket.

A purple spell grazed past her, nearly hitting her, and Voldemort on the ground let out a chilling laugh: "Concentrate! Don't get distracted!"

Daphne ignored him. She took out her crystal ball, looked down, and saw a skeleton "horse" strolling in a forest.

A sudden realization dawned on her, and the next second, she slammed the crystal ball heavily onto the ground, where it shattered instantly.

Reston, who had been secretly observing, was suddenly stunned: That was made by Rowena Ravenclaw herself, and there was only one of its kind in the world!
