Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 499 Godric, a man among men, a wizard among wizards

Chapter 499 Godric, a man among men, a wizard among wizards

Rice, who was flying outside the cabin, was unaware that he had been given the nickname "Homelander." At that moment, he was reflecting on his behavior.

"Maybe I should fight that demon even harder? And get injured or something?"

"No, if we fight this weakling to a standstill, how will we explain the problem of power inflation in the future? So, instantly killing them is the right decision..."

Rice carefully reviewed his words and actions. In the end, he concluded that his performance just now deserved a perfect score of 100.

With a satisfied smile on his face, Rice snapped his fingers, and with a loud bang, his figure vanished into thin air.

Snapped!

Having just indulged in his superhero fantasy, Rice returned to Hogsmeade Village.

Hogsmeade Village was somewhat deserted after the start of summer vacation due to the departure of students, but Rice didn't mind. He strode back to Hogwarts as quickly as possible and found Helga and Rowena.

"I've found a medicine that can solve Godric's problem." Rice said this with a slightly hesitant voice, but since things had come to this point, he had to give it a try.

If it doesn't work, then you'll have to go back and "return" it immediately.

Upon hearing Salazar's words, Helga and Rowena were both startled and immediately put down what they were doing.

For them, Godric's matter was the most important thing.

Without wasting any time, the three rushed to the dungeon and dug out Gryffindor from his seal.

Looking at the battered and bruised Godric, the three suddenly realized a serious problem: how were they going to explain his injuries to Gryffindor when he woke up?

"Give him the medicine first, we'll talk about the rest later." Rice coughed, took out the Divine Travel Pill the old man had given him from his pocket, and put it into Godric's mouth.

Then he gestured for Helga to fetch a glass of warm water, which he then poured down his throat, and the pill rolled into Godric's stomach with the water.

They've done everything they could; now it's up to fate.

Soon, Godric's body underwent a strange transformation; a milky-white, ghostly object emerged from Gryffindor's skull. A few seconds later, a ghost with Loki's face detached from Gryffindor's body.

The three of them stared wide-eyed in unison: They actually did it that easily?!

"Salazar, you're amazing!" Helga exclaimed with delight, praising Salazar's discovery of the precious medicine.

Rowena stared thoughtfully at the gourd in Rice's hand. From the container holding the medicine, she had already guessed its source.

Rice was shocked. He never expected that the little mud balls made with such sloppy methods could actually separate a person's body and soul!

He felt as if his knowledge of potions had been turned upside down.

Or perhaps I could try making magic potions using alchemy methods in the future?

While lost in thought, Rice and his two old friends sealed Loki's soul away. Since Loki's soul was in a dormant state, the sealing went very smoothly, and the three of them completed the sealing effortlessly.

After Godric's body became "pure," the three moved on to the next step.

The process is quite simple: just use the resurrection stone to summon Godric. Rowena deduces that once he's summoned, his body will automatically absorb Godric's soul, thus resurrecting him.

Rice took out the resurrection stone and spun it three times as usual. Godric's figure appeared before him, but before he could utter a single word, he was sucked into the body lying next to him.

The dungeon instantly became so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

However, after more than ten minutes, Godric's body did not react in any way, as if all the work that Rice and the others had just done was in vain.

"This doesn't make sense, it shouldn't be like this!" Helga was completely bewildered. Why was the scene different from what they had expected?

Rowena lowered her eyes slightly; she roughly understood what was going on.

Someone's faking death!

Godric, is he trying so hard to shirk his duties? Just as she was about to provoke Gryffindor, she heard Salazar beside her let out a cold laugh.

Looking at the Gryffindors who remained motionless, Rice sneered.

Loki's soul was extracted, and yours was summoned back. Everyone witnessed your soul return to your body. Now you say you can't wake up?

Do you think the three of us are idiots?

As everyone knows, you can't wake someone who's pretending to be asleep, but Rice has a lot of experience dealing with Gryffindor, so he's not worried at all.

After taking a deep breath, Rice made his final decision.

He drew his wand and, with lightning speed, cast a petrification spell on Helga and Rowena, who were standing beside him, freezing them in place.

Rowena, Helga: ? ? ?

Godric, lying on the platform: ?

A look of confusion flashed across Rowena and Helga's eyes at the same time, wondering what their old friend's intentions were.

Rice's eyes were filled with determination. He didn't explain to Rowena and the others, but instead waved his wand and summoned several musical instruments.

Now, everyone present was confused.

Rice did as he pleased; with a flick of his wand, the instruments began to play on their own under his direction. A deep, resonant voice echoed through the dungeon, reverberating endlessly in the enclosed space.

Rowena and Helga's pupils dilated in shock: This, this—?!

Now Rowena and Helga understood why Salazar had suddenly intervened and immobilized them.

Godric, a man among men, a wizard among wizards!

Lord of Wizardry, the terminator of gods—an overwhelming man, the founder of Hogwarts, and an immortal pinnacle in the history of human magic!

His handsome face is like David in the Louvre, like a rose on the banks of the Seine.

His majestic figure is like the astronomical clock in Prague's square, and the Parthenon in Athens.

His noble soul is like the Trevi Fountain in ancient Rome, and like St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.

Godric was the most beautiful of all, a gift from the gods, the apple of gold, and Aphrodite could not resist the glint in his eyes.

[Godric! Godric Gryffindor!! Godric Gryffindor—!!!]

After hitting a high note, Rice clenched his fists and swung them forcefully in front of him, ending the aria. However, his singing did not dissipate; instead, it echoed continuously in the dungeon, relentlessly assaulting the nerves of Rowena and Helga, rendering both of them incapable of thinking.

Only one question remained in their minds: Salazar, what exactly do you want to do?
