Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 506 Space and the Stone of Destiny, A Change in World Lines!

Chapter 506 Space and the Stone of Destiny, A Change in World Lines!

After hearing Zeus's words, Helga and Godric blinked, their eyes showing a blank expression, while Rais and Rowena's expressions became serious.

"The barrier between the underworld and the real world also follows this principle. It used to be very loose, then gradually tightened, until the four of you suddenly appeared and completely severed the connection between the two worlds. Now the connection between the two worlds has returned to its original state. Isn't this also a manifestation of rise and fall?"

"Nonsense!" Helga rebuked, "If we hadn't been careless and allowed Loki to break the seal, this seal could have lasted for countless millennia!"

"But the fact is, the seal has been broken, and the boundary between the underworld and reality has disappeared." Zeus remained unmoved: "Even without Loki, there would be other gods... or humans."

His gaze shifted between Rice and Rowena's faces.

"The return of the gods is the will of Heaven, and now is the time," Zeus said with confidence.

"So what exactly are you trying to say?" Godric's patience was wearing thin, and his hand reached for his longsword again.

"Can we reconcile?" Zeus asked earnestly. "We will not set foot on the British Isles; that is your territory. And you should not interfere in the affairs of the Greek peninsula. How about we live peacefully and happily together? As for the other regions, we can divide them up gradually..."

In Zeus's view, the four people opposite him could be called "gods" and were qualified to be on equal footing with him, so he was eager to resolve the issue through negotiation.

He was unwilling to use that precious stone until the very last moment. Because with the size of these four people, using the stone on them even once would render it unusable.

Rice and Rowena remained silent.

What Zeus said actually makes some sense, and it seems like a good future for wizards.

With these deities as targets, all hatred will be diverted by them, and the magical world can achieve stability and peace under their protection, while also integrating well into Muggle society.

But...

"You're overthinking it!" Godric sneered. "Just accept your fate. Your only option is death!"

Godric had no intention of letting these so-called gods go; he loathed these humanoid beings.

Zeus looked at the other three.

Helga also stated that visitors from the underworld should stay obediently in the underworld.

Seeing Godric's stance, Rhys shrugged and said to Zeus, "I don't care, but since Godric isn't willing to let you go, then we really can't let you leave."

Rowena's view is similar.

Their attitude was that as long as Zeus could convince Godric/Helga, they would definitely be fine with it.

Zeus sighed.

"So the negotiations have broken down?"

The four of them nodded in unison.

"Correcting a mistake you made isn't a negotiation; it's just answering my questions," Rice added.

Godric, on the other hand, told Zeus that allowing the enemy to finish speaking his last words was an essential quality of a knight.

Zeus burst into laughter upon hearing their words.

Finally, He stopped smiling and asked the four a question in return.

Have you ever studied fate?

All four shook their heads. None of them had a talent for divination, so they hadn't studied it much.

"Do you know the origin of magic?"

I know a bit about Rowena and Rice.

The magic on Earth comes from the universe; it is a "gift" brought by a meteor shower.

"That's right, those meteorites were the original source of magic. As time goes by, these magical stones become increasingly difficult to find. I believe that in your time, you probably couldn't find a single one," Zeus affirmed their research.

"However, although these stones were very rare when the Olympian pantheon arose, they could still be found if one searched diligently." As Zeus spoke, he took out a fist-sized, spindle-shaped stone from inside the hem of his robe.

"A seemingly ordinary stone can transform a mortal into a god—provided he can withstand this immense gift. However, the stone itself also possesses some medicinal properties..."

The stone shattered at Zeus's fingertips, turning into dust and dissipating into the air.

"This stone can transport people to any corner of the world, and when you touch it, you can glimpse a glimpse of destiny. The gods call it the Stone of Space and Destiny, and it is the most precious treasure on Mount Olympus." To the four people, Zeus's voice became ethereal and distant.

Rice realized something was wrong. He tried to channel his magic, but found that Zeus's voice was fading away uncontrollably, becoming faint and indistinct.

[...But it also has another name, the wishing stone, which can grant wishes from people or gods.]

My wish... is to banish you... and restore the world line to its original state...!

The scene before Rhys's eyes gradually turned into a white expanse, and Zeus's voice could no longer be heard.

He seemed to have lost all senses, which greatly puzzled Rice.

Is this some kind of magic? Why does it have such a powerful effect?

He didn't think Zeus had the ability to deprive him of his five senses while he was in the realm, so it must be the power of the stone He took out.

As expected of the Stone of Magic Origin...

A sense of curiosity arose in Rice's heart; he was eager to know what the trump card Zeus had prepared for the four of them was.

Having lost his five senses, Rice had no idea how long he had been floating in this white space.

It could be an hour, a day, a year, or even just a second, a fleeting moment.

But things soon took a turn for the better—he heard a faint sound.

Rice's ears perked up immediately: he could clearly hear that it was the sound of a train whistle!

"What?!" Rhys's eyes widened. "Did Zeus suddenly send him into the interrogation room?"

This is just too outrageous!

Soon, his hearing, vision, and smell returned, and familiar scenes gradually appeared in Rice's eyes.

King's Cross Station, Platform 9!

Rice knows this place all too well!

The moment Rhys realized where he was, he was confused and shocked. He couldn't understand how Zeus had managed to kill him instantly, even though he was protected by the domain, and send him to the land of reincarnation.

How could he possibly bypass the domain and kill the wizard within it? He and the domain are essentially one!

That so-called "entity" is only a small part of the domain; that domain is his entire body. So how did Zeus manage to do that?

However, Rice quickly realized that this was not the place to come and go.

Zeus had just given himself such a "surprise" that he overlooked some differences between this place and the one he came from and the one he had left: this platform was packed with people, it looked like—

Like Platform 9 when school started on September 1st!
