Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 515 You devil, you truly delight me.

"Absurd!" Lucius couldn't help but curse.

This is outrageous!

Salazar Slytherin was a wizard from a thousand years ago; his bones should be rotten by now. How could he possibly appear before me in this state?

Lucius could not accept this answer, neither rationally nor emotionally.

"It's okay, I'll prove it to you." Rice was already used to other people not believing his identity, and he was quite adept at proving his own identity.

Rice made his move without warning.

With a flick of the wand, the body of the fairy standing at the front exploded into a cloud of blood mist.

Before anyone else or the fairy could react, a second and third cloud of blood mist appeared.

Like a conductor of an orchestra, Rice gently waved his magic wand. With each stroke of the wand, a goblin perished on the spot.

Of course, Rice isn't just a crazy guy who only knows how to attack. He can use defensive magic or conjure an earthen wall to block spells coming from all directions, and he can also move his feet to avoid attacks that can be easily dodged.

After exchanging blows for a while, Rice clearly sensed that not only had the wizards' combat abilities declined significantly, but the fairies' fighting power was also much weaker than it had been a thousand years ago.

These Gringotts guards posed absolutely no threat to me.

Rice even had time to show mercy—he simply disarmed the wizard guards and knocked them unconscious on the spot.

A few minutes later, only Lucius was left standing.

Feeling the thick, almost tangible stench of blood filling his nostrils, Lucius felt completely paralyzed, unable to move even a finger.

Rice walked to his side; despite the siege by so many goblins and guards, not a single drop of blood could be stained on his wizard's robe.

He stretched and yawned: the biggest damage this low-intensity battle had done to him was that it had caused his strength to decline imperceptibly.

Constantly fighting the weak is the most terrifying way to weaken the strong. It's like damp air corroding the sharpness of the strong, causing them to fall into depravity without them even realizing it.

Previously, Rice could use the power of his domain to instantly kill those who were not strong enough, but now he has to use spells to target them one by one. This is perhaps the biggest inconvenience of losing his domain.

"Alright, the nuisance has been cleared away. Now tell me Voldemort's whereabouts. I believe you know." Rhys looked at Lucius and said in an unquestionable tone.

Lucius paused, then instinctively asked, "What are you going to do?"

"Of course, kill him." Rice was getting impatient.

He didn't want to waste any more time here.

Looking at the extremely confident Rice, Lucius suddenly believed what he said.

The person before me could very well be Salazar Slytherin, the wizard who lived a thousand years ago. Although I don't know why he's here, there's no doubt he's been resurrected.

After weighing the pros and cons in a very short time, Lucius decided to reveal Voldemort's location to Slytherin.

Doing this will only benefit him and will not do him any harm.

"At the Riddle mansion, that is—" Lucius hadn't finished speaking when Rice gestured for him to stop.

He's quite familiar with that place.

After waking the two goblins who had initially led the way, Rice ordered them to take him to the Lestrange family's vault.

There's something he has to take from Gringotts today.

Soon, he obtained the Hufflepuff Cup.

"Lucius, give it to Dumbledore. You're a smart man; you know the consequences of double-dealing," Rhys warned Lucius, glancing at him.

After tremblingly accepting the golden cup from Rice's hands, Lucius still mustered up the courage to ask Rice a question.

Where is my nephew?

Rice was astonished by Lucius's courage.

In his mind, Lucius was a slippery opportunist, the kind of person who changes course with the wind and is only interested in profit. He never expected him to be so resolute on the matter of his nephew, which made him look at him in a new light.

"I am your nephew. You can think of me as someone who was resurrected inside him after he turned sixteen."

Lucius's face turned deathly pale: Slytherin meant, though he didn't quite understand the principle, he could still understand the content: had his nephew disappeared forever?

"You don't need to be too pessimistic. I'm only back here for a short time. Once my mission is complete, your nephew will naturally return."

The color returned to Lucius's face instantly.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of everything." Rice waved his hand to reassure Lucius.

"Thank you, thank you!" Lucius suddenly felt that the person in front of him seemed easier to talk to than the Dark Lord.

"Remember to give this to Dumbledore. Offering it up will ensure you don't suffer any loss in the future." After leaving these words, Rhys disappeared from Gringotts' underground vault.

Lucius was overjoyed. He fully understood Lord Slytherin's implication and realized his own mission.

When Rice reappeared, he was already in Little Hangleton.

He wanted to find Voldemort and have a good spar with him, to see the pinnacle of combat power in this world.

Hopefully Voldemort won't let him down.

Upon re-entering the Riddle mansion, Rice noticed that although the exterior was still dilapidated, the interior had been kept quite clean.

It's clear that Voldemort is a man of principle and dignity, unwilling to linger in a doghouse-like environment.

As Rice stepped onto the lawn of the mansion, a moving shadow caught his attention.

It was a large, glossy python, its scales shimmering with a bronze sheen in the sunlight. From any angle, it was a very beautiful snake.

Ever since he saw the snake, Rice's eyes have never left it.

It wasn't that he had any strange or unusual hobbies, but rather that he had discerned the snake's unusual past.

It used to be a person.

Rice saw Astoria's future in it.

If Astoria hadn't met him, she too would have ended up like this, trapped in the body of a snake, unable to escape. In the end, her consciousness would have been gradually erased, leaving only the instincts of a snake.

The witch is now in a state that's not much different from a real snake.

Even at the height of his career, he was powerless to turn the tide and could do almost nothing.

The giant snake swam into the mansion, and Rice followed its steps, easily finding the Voldemort he had been longing for.

Rice's eyes lit up the moment he stepped into the room: there was an unexpected bonus!

Peter Pettigrew is here too! That's amazing!

"You devil, you really make me happy."

This was the first thing Voldemort heard, and then he found himself seemingly flying.
