Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 522 Dumbledore Kidnapped by Scrimgeour

Chapter 522 Dumbledore Kidnapped by Scrimgeour (Bonus Chapter for National Day)

Dumbledore and Rice had reached a clever consensus on the matter of eliminating Voldemort, so he naturally did not want to engage in a final battle with Rice now.

He felt he could live for a few more years and could join forces to destroy all of Voldemort's Horcruxes, killing him completely before fighting Rice to the death.

Lucius had also hinted at Rice's true identity to Dumbledore, which actually made Dumbledore less worried.

He was, after all, the founder of the school, and he wouldn't go too far.

But now Scrimgeour is about to disrupt this tacit balance. Dumbledore has been trying to persuade him and has shared his own thoughts with Scrimgeour.

He hoped Scringer could understand his good intentions and wait a year or two.

Everything seems to be going according to plan.

Unfortunately, it's only "seems".

Just as Dumbledore began investigating Voldemort's Horcruxes, he received devastating news: Scrimgeour was about to launch a counterattack against Azkaban.

The message came from Kingsley, so it's absolutely reliable.

When Dumbledore heard the news, his vision went black and he collapsed into his chair.

The worst has happened.

Dumbledore was almost certain that Scrimgeour had deliberately leaked the information beforehand. He knew there were people around him who were inclined to support Dumbledore, but he wanted to use this action to forcibly bind Dumbledore and his forces to his own side.

Short-sighted, lacking a broad perspective, and eager for quick success...

Dumbledore's mind raced with words that could describe Scrimgeour, but in the end, he could only let out a sigh.

What else could he do? He couldn't just stand by and watch Scrimgeour lead the elite of the Ministry of Magic to their deaths, could he?

Dumbledore looked at Fawkes, who was perched on a sycamore tree preening his feathers, and gave a wry smile.

"Fox, thank you for your help." Dumbledore gently stroked the phoenix's back, conveying his command to it.

Order of the Phoenix, assemble!

Destination: Azkaban!

Scrimgeour is a madman.

This is Rice's assessment of him.

Rice received the message even earlier than Dumbledore.

After a brief moment of surprise, Rice figured out Scrinker's intentions.

After thinking it through, Rhys couldn't help but sigh: Dumbledore, how can he manage the wizarding world with such a worm by his side?

"Your Majesty, we need to assemble our members immediately..." the member of the organization who delivered the message said anxiously.

He didn't want to end up on the losing side right after taking a stand.

Rice laughed as he looked at his anxious subordinates.

"It's time to assemble." Rice nodded. "Find a small boat and drift near Azkaban."

A hint of confusion flashed across the messenger's face.

"I know that your submission to me is solely due to Voldemort's lingering power..."

"No, no, your loyalty to you is as clear as the sun and moon; you are the only sun in our hearts."

Rice looked at the other person's humble and subservient expression and felt nothing but contempt.

We've only known each other for a short time, and I've already become the sun in your heart?

"For both reason and emotion, I should prove it to you and let you witness the incredible power of magic," Rice said calmly.

He didn't talk about the ultimate state of magic because it's impossible to reach that ultimate state in this world.

Under the immense power of the domain, most spells are like children playing house.

"I am very grateful to Scrimgeour and Dumbledore."

Upon hearing His Majesty's words, the organization members were at a loss for words. They could only state that they were near Azkaban and would respond to any call to provide support if needed.

Rice smiled without saying a word.

As the Order of the Phoenix amassed its forces, preparing for the final battle in Azkaban, Helga found Godric and revealed the matter to him.

Godric was so shocked his eyes almost popped out.

"Has Dumbledore gone mad? Or has Scrimgeour gone mad?"

"Regardless of who's crazy, we can't just stand by and watch Salazar get killed, can we?" Helga's attitude was simple: she didn't want Salazar to die in this world.

God knows if Salazar can return to the original timeline after his death, and if he can't, the consequences are unacceptable to them.

Godric rubbed his chin.

To be fair, Helga's concerns weren't unfounded. As friends, they still wanted to put Salazar at ease.

"Here's what we'll do: you go to Azkaban with the main force, and if Salazar's life is in danger, save him. I have other tasks to do," Godric suggested.

Helga nodded, thinking Godric's suggestion was quite good.

The two immediately sprang into action.

While Helga was seeking Professor McGonagall's help to join the expedition, Godric found Harry, hoping he could act that day.

"I heard that a lot of people from the Ministry of Magic were transferred out today. There's no better time than today!" Godric said, his face beaming with anticipation. "I'm going no matter what. Harry, if you're not going, lend me your Invisibility Cloak."

Harry thought about it for a moment and was quite tempted.

"I'll talk to Ron and Hermione."

"Ron might agree, but will Hermione really agree?" Godric didn't completely object, but he still raised his doubts.

He secretly made preparations to take Harry to the Ministry of Magic, even if it meant using magic.

"You're right." Harry seemed to hear Hermione's voice in his ears, which made him decide not to tell Hermione about today's actions.

"How do we get there?" Now it's time to discuss specific course of action.

"A flying broomstick." That was Godric's answer.

"Huh?" Harry remembered that Longbottom was not very good at riding brooms, and wouldn't the Muggles notice if he did this?

"Your fire bolts are so powerful, they should be able to carry people, right? As for Muggles, I've got a few invisibility cloaks." Godric gave his answer after hearing Harry's question.

Harry was stunned: He never expected Godric to be so reliable today!

"Ever since I learned of the prophecy, I've been waiting for this day."

Hearing Godric's words, Harry felt a pang of guilt: he hadn't done anything, he'd just been busy tutoring his classmates in magic.

However, Godric didn't seem to mind Harry's "indifference"; he just urged Harry to hurry up and leave so as not to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Then the two brooms rose from the sky above Hogwarts and disappeared into the clouds.

Meanwhile, in the lobby of the Ministry of Magic, Scrimgeour looked at the Aurors and strikers in the lobby with a resolute expression.

"The Ministry of Magic will not allow dark wizards to develop under our noses. Today, we are determined to crush Azkaban and bring that Ras Lint to justice! I authorize you to use the Unforgivable Charm, for justice, for peace in the wizarding world!"

"Let's go! Destination: Azkaban!"
