Chapter 246 Harry's Mission
Chapter 246 Harry's Mission
Who is Gino Luther?
The question lingered in everyone's mind the moment the boy's name appeared in the hall.
Some people learned from gossip that the boy did not seem to have received systematic magical training.
Some people also say that this guy's real identity is actually a bard.
Regardless of people's opinions, most of the young wizards were filled with pessimism.
Oh no, this Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is likely to be another incompetent fool.
This is what most young wizards think.
Perhaps it's because the curse surrounding the magic professor is becoming increasingly ingrained in people's minds.
Anyone with a modicum of ability wouldn't go to Hogwarts for that damned position.
"Hello everyone, I'm Gino Luther."
The boy's voice was gentle, yet many of the young witches silently remembered this young professor.
Putting aside his abilities, at the very least, this professor looks handsome and has a pleasant voice.
"In the new semester, I will be your Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."
The boy's words caused a huge uproar.
Although everyone had their suspicions, actually hearing the admission was another matter entirely.
"This semester," Gino said with a smile, opening his right hand.
As the boy swung his right hand, a dazzling azure light screen, as brilliant as the Milky Way, burst forth from his palm like countless shooting stars, and then opened up as if it had been instantly magnified.
"Whoosh!"
A shimmering river, as brilliant as the Milky Way, flows leisurely throughout the auditorium.
Everyone was watching with bated breath and full of praise.
"Oh My God!"
"So beautiful!"
"What kind of magic is that?"
Everyone stared wide-eyed at the magic Gino displayed.
"How did he do that?"
"He didn't even use a wand!"
Discussions and exclamations of praise filled the air.
"Dumbledore."
Unlike the young wizards' excitement, Professor Flitwick, who was short in stature and taught Charms, looked grave: "If I'm not mistaken, he used a strange kind of magic without even needing a spell."
"I'd rather call his performance a display of strength," Dumbledore smiled, his gaze fixed on Gino's profile.
...
The banquet has ended.
But it is foreseeable that the name Gino Luther will appear in everyone's mind.
On their way back to the dormitory, Ron caught up with Hermione and Harry: "What do you guys think?"
"This is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?"
"I think we can look forward to his performance."
Harry shook his head, clearly believing that there was hope for Ginobili.
"I'm quite curious, Professor Luther seems to have never used any spells or wands."
Hermione, known as Miss Know-It-All, shook her head, her face full of curiosity: "I really want to know, how did he do that?"
The three of them discussed as they walked up the steps, but the bright moonlight shone through the window.
The blond boy I had seen in the lobby earlier was now looking at a deep blue Rubik's Cube.
"Um?"
Seemingly noticing the three children's gazes, Gino flipped his right hand and put the Rubik's Cube into his spatial pocket.
"Good evening, the three of you." Gino tilted his head and greeted the three of them with a smile.
"Uh, Professor Gino, hello."
Hermione swallowed nervously.
"Oh, right, I just applied to Professor McGonagall. Given that the Defense Against the Dark Arts course at Hogwarts is far behind schedule, I specifically requested the school to add extra classes."
The boy looked relaxed.
"It takes place every Saturday and Sunday."
"I forgot to inform the prefects about this," Gino yawned, staring at the three of them. "So, could you please forward this to all the houses for me?"
"For example, Harry goes to Slytherin House."
"Hermione and Ron will be responsible for informing the other three houses."
The boy's gaze fell on Harry, and he chuckled, saying, "If you do a good job, I might consider granting you one of your wishes."
"Hello, notification message?"
Harry looked at him strangely and stammered, "Professor Luther, I don't think I should go to Slytherin to deliver the message."
What a joke! Even the Head of Slytherin House would love to deduct points from his own house every day.
Not to mention those hypocritical little snakes.
As Harry thought about it, the image of Malfoy flashed through his mind, and the look of disgust on his face grew even stronger.
[Negative emotions from Harry Potter +100, +100...]
"Don't be so quick to refuse, Harry."
Before Harry could refuse, Gino approached the boy with a smile: "When I say granting a wish, I mean any wish."
He leaned down and whispered in Harry's ear in a voice only the two of them could hear: "It would be easy for me to resurrect your dead parents."
"Of course, that's on the condition that you trust me."
Gino stood up with a smile and patted Harry on the shoulder: "Go on, I'm sure you'll have sweet dreams tonight."
After uttering those words, the boy's figure vanished like ripples on water, as if he had merely been a puddle of water standing under the moonlight.
"Harry?"
Gino had already left, but Harry's face was even paler than before.
But upon closer inspection, his slightly trembling arm suggests that his heart is not as calm as it appears.
Simple words, yet they stirred up a huge storm in the boy's heart.
"What did he say to you?"
Hermione looked worried as she saw Harry's expression.
"No, it's nothing. Tomorrow's Saturday." Harry shook his head slightly, his gaze resolute. "I have to tell Slytherin this."
Harry turned and headed towards Slytherin House, leaving his two companions looking at each other in bewilderment.
He had a feeling that Professor Luther wouldn't lie to him.
Even just standing there, that man exuded a sense of composure and reliability.
For no apparent reason, Harry bypassed the corridor and headed towards the underwater dormitories of Slytherin House.
"Smack."
Holding onto the dark handrail, Harry walked through the eerie corridors of Slytherin House, where the snake head patterns on the walls always drew attention.
"Damn it, I still don't know the password to their academy's lounge."
Harry was a little annoyed; he should have found out more before coming.
"Oh my, isn't that Harry Potter?"
Before the boy could react, a sarcastic voice rang out from behind him.
In the past, Harry would have felt disgusted when he heard this voice, but now he never imagined it could be so pleasant.
The boy turned around and saw a boy with slicked-back blond hair standing not far away with two tall, bulky boys.
"Speak, Harry Potter, what are you doing in Slytherin so late instead of going back to your dormitory?"
Malfoy stared at Harry suspiciously, trying to read the answer from the boy's face.
But Harry's face was deathly pale. He took a deep breath and said, "Malfoy, Professor Luther asked me to tell you to inform all the students in this year that he is still teaching on Saturdays and Sundays."
"If you don't finish, you'll be in for a lot of trouble from Professor Luther!"
After saying that, Harry deliberately bumped Malfoy with his shoulder, leaving Malfoy with a look of uncertainty on his face.
