Chapter 18 Seeking Benefits from Both Sides

Chapter 18 Seeking Benefits from Both Sides

In the club's second-floor office, Vincent sat on the sofa, pressing the remote control as the television screen switched between several news channels.

The television screen showed multiple close-ups of the Wild Beasts Club.

Vincent switched channels several times, and Wild Beasts House frequently appeared on the news screens during related live broadcasts.

There was quite a commotion downstairs, but Vincent didn't go to check. About half an hour later, he saw close-up footage of the Wild Things House on five television stations.

It will undoubtedly become the focus of social news in the newspapers tomorrow.

Putting aside the question of how much money it would cost to achieve such media coverage, according to Georgia's relevant regulations, Wild Beasts House wouldn't even have the chance to be directly banned.

Martin Davis, that idiot, what a genius!

Vincent poured himself a glass of whiskey and began to sip it slowly.

There was a knock on the door, and he answered. Martin came in from outside and said, "Boss, there's something I need to report."

Vincent gestured to the sofa: "Sit down and talk."

"We just rescued Kelly Grey..." Martin quickly recounted what had happened.

Vincent asked, "What do you think?"

Martin said, "They could be our largest potential customer group."

"Do it your way." Vincent's previous actions gave him confidence in Martin.

Martin said one last thing: "Media reporters will be coming soon. Will you be in charge of receiving them, boss?"

Vincent, however, had reservations: "I'm not suited to appearing in the media."

"Should I handle it?" Martin received a clear answer from Vincent, went downstairs to meet a public relations person sent by Kelly, quickly exchanged opinions, and prepared to open the club doors.

…………

Meanwhile, the club's back door opened, and eight people, including Bruce and Ivan, walked out of the alley onto Saijo Street, each with their phones in hand, to find their respective targets.

TV reporter Mia had just finished her busy work and went to the interview vehicle to get a bottle of water when she noticed a smiling man approaching with his phone.

She said, "The TV station is operating; please do not come near."

Bruce held up his phone: "I called the news hotline; I'm here to collect my bonus."

Mia said, "Go to the TV station tomorrow, or leave your email address."

Bruce, who knew a little about the situation, said, "Don't waste your time, okay? I know you guys have a bonus for handling breaking news leads."

Mia didn't want to say more: "This is not in accordance with regulations."

Before coming out, Bruce had already received instructions from Martin and said in a low voice, "This whole thing was caused by the House of the Beasts. I can help you contact the people at the House of the Beasts."

Mia immediately became interested. The Beast House, which was the focus of attention, had been closed all along. After tonight, this male strip club would definitely become the focus of social news in Atlanta.

She took her bag, pulled out a $50 check, and placed it in front of Bruce: "You promise?"

Bruce took the check, glanced at the amount, put it away, and said, "This is the payment for the last news story. For this one, you need to pay me $100."

Mia hesitated for a moment, then took out a hundred-dollar check. Bruce reached for it, but she pulled it back, saying, "You contact someone first."

Bruce dialed Martin's number, but Hart answered. Hart handed the phone to Mia: "The people from the House of the Beasts."

That bastard Martin, he even tries to make others take the blame for this.

Mia spoke briefly on the phone, handed the check to Bruce, and told her assistant, "Drive the TV broadcast van to the Wild Things' house!"

Bruce pocketed the check and left, quickly turning into a dark alley.

Mia arrived at the door of the Beast House and noticed a rattling sound behind the club's door, as if someone was unlocking it.

Colleagues who were scattered around looking for people to interview gradually arrived.

Mia saw Deckard from the Atlanta Constitution and asked, "What brings you here?"

Deck was initially hesitant, but upon noticing the large number of his colleagues approaching, he simply said, "A news informant has contacted the people at the House of the Beasts for me."

Mia's face darkened: "$100?"

"The same to you?"

"Me too!"

"Me too!"

The reporters who came over all looked the same, each with a sullen face.

Mia exclaimed, "What a bunch of bastards!"

It was obvious that someone from the club did it, but they still had to bite the bullet and go to do the interview; no one wanted to leave.

The club doors opened, and Martin was the first to step out.

The cameras quickly turned to face them, and the reporters were all incredibly excited.

After the interview, Martin returned to the club.

The PR expert sent by Kelly said, "You did a great job. Contact me immediately if there are any further issues."

After the man left, Bruce came over and specifically reminded him, "Dude, you're a man!"

Martin said, "I wouldn't mind sending you to Thailand as long as it's in our best interest."

Bruce gave him the middle finger, pulled out a check, and asked, "Won't the reporters criticize us for doing this?"

"Buddy, you're used to being a civilized person and have never dealt with the media. Let me tell you, if you're going to stand up to the media, don't be afraid of being criticized." Martin was very confident: "You think we can stop criticizing us just because we're trying to please them? You overestimate them! Let them criticize us, being criticized is still being famous, and Wild Beasts House needs to be famous."

He asked, "Does the club have a legal advisor? After the news dies down in a few days, they can hold a press conference, send a lawyer's letter to the Methodist Church, and this matter can be hyped up several times."

Ivan and the others returned one after another with checks, asking, "What about the bonus?"

Martin didn't look up, but noticed Vincent had come to the second-floor railing. He said, "Leave it to the boss."

"Everyone who participates tonight will get a share." Vincent was very generous; it wasn't the club's money. "Martin takes thirty percent, and you can divide the rest among yourselves."

Martin tallied the check amount and said disdainfully, "You shameless bunch, you actually brought back $1200!"

A bunch of middle fingers were held up in front of Martin.
