Chapter 381 A Double Blow to the Mind and Body

Chapter 381 A Double Blow to the Mind and Body

Upon hearing Scott's words, Bell instinctively clenched her buttocks, her gaze sweeping over the oddly shaped pink water bottle, filled with both fear and anger.

Thinking back on their recent meetings, he'd drunk quite a bit each time. What if he got carried away and went with Sophia...?

That's not just a serious consequence, but a very serious problem later on.

It's better to be the one stirring up trouble than to be used as a troublemaker by others!

Bell's chest heaved violently, as if it could explode at any moment.

"Martin Davis!" he cried out in utter hatred. "Are you even human?!"

Scott thought of his daughters and said, "That's a bastard that even hell wouldn't accept!"

Bell had a feeling that Scott was telling the truth, and asked, "Why are you telling me this?"

Scott slung his leg over his shoulder and took a few steps. "See me? This is the serious consequence of being with Sophia!" He spoke the truth: "Guess how Sophia knows me?"

Bell naturally followed up: "Martin Davis?"

Scott sighed: "Martin Davis introduced me to Sofia, and that's how I got to where I am today."

Bell looked at Scott with sympathy, thinking to himself that this man had been harmed by Martin even more than he had been.

Scott came here today to tell the truth: "Martin has a close relationship with Sofia, and he specifically hired Sofia to mess with you. He wants you to become like me."

The sympathy in Bell's eyes had vanished, replaced by burning anger.

At this moment, he didn't resemble Batman; instead, he looked exactly like an angry Superman.

"Be careful yourself. I'm only reminding you because I see you and Martin don't get along." Scott slung his leg over his shoulder and walked away into the distance.

His strange gait constantly reminded Bell of what he had almost become.

"Martin Davis!" Bell had never hated anyone as much as he did now.

At this moment, in his eyes, in his heart, and in his mind, there was only Martin, and he could not tolerate anything else!

Martin has taken over Bale's entire being!

Bell strode toward the studio to find his only one.

That clown, that clown who creates chaos!

He wants to get justice from the Joker and end all the chaos on set.

Just like Batman did to the Joker.

The studio door was open, and Bell strode in. His eyes swept across the room and he spotted the Joker, who was wearing a tattered suit and had his face covered in white paint.

Bell quickened his pace; the series of shocks he had experienced today had finally unleashed the monster that had been locked away within him.

A powerful spiritual force propelled him toward the clown.

Bruce reminded Martin.

Martin turned to look at Bell, his pale face contorted into a blood-red, maniacal grin.

Madness, terror, evil, like a nightmare, like an agent of chaos.

Bale had been suffering from mental torment for several months. The environment and atmosphere in the studio, along with the aura of the target character, gave him the illusion that he had become Batman.

On the other side is the Joker, Batman's mortal enemy.

Bruce tucked one hand inside his coat and stared intently at Bell.

He subtly pushed his foot forward, causing the plastic basket containing the iced cola to shift slightly along the route he had anticipated.

Behind the director's monitor, Nolan, who was working, suddenly looked up and saw Bell walking quickly towards Martin from the doorway.

Emma Thomas, who was standing next to him, said, "Bale seems a bit off."

Nolan had a much keener sense of smell on set than Emma Thomas, and realized something was about to happen.

As a highly capable new-generation director, Nolan is both calm and composed, yet also daring and adventurous.

He stopped Emma Thomas from speaking, moved behind the director's camera nearby, and started filming as quickly as possible, turning the camera to Martin's rest area.

Bale's scenes are basically finished, and the remaining action scenes have all been handled by stunt doubles, so it won't affect the normal filming of the crew.

The screenwriter, whose sense of smell had been honed to perfection, floated over like a ghost and asked, "Director?"

Nolan, controlling the camera, said, "Let's see."

The screenwriter fell silent.

Nolan brought over a megaphone so he could speak up and stop things if they got out of hand.

Emma Thomas stood up and called Menez and other close associates to take control of the situation as soon as her husband tried to do so.

Bell strode over, his eyes bloodshot, and roared, "I'm going to kill you, you bastard! I'm going to kill you!"

Martin laughed wildly and maniacally, as if he were too immersed in the role to break free, and his words were those of the Joker: "Why are you so serious?"

These words and this demeanor, when heard and seen by the onlookers, would only lead them to believe that Martin was still deeply immersed in his role and unable to extricate himself.

After all, similar situations have occurred far too many times in the past few days.

Even this break in filming was specifically arranged by director Nolan after he noticed Martin was too immersed in his role, and he deliberately paused filming to allow it.

But in Bell's eyes, this was mockery, ridicule, and provocation.

Martin faced Bell, as if the real Joker had come to life, and with his blood-red lips parted, he used the improvisation he had been using frequently during the filming of the past few days.

"Bang—"

The faint sound mimicking an explosion ignited Bell's already taut nerves. Driven by the lingering, tearing sensation below, he roared, "Die, you bastard!"

Bell charged at Martin, fist and all.

Two burly men, each over 1.8 meters tall, collided like the Titanic and an iceberg, their relationship a love-hate one, much like Jack and Rose.

Martin roared in pain, stumbled back a few steps, and let out a laugh tinged with agony: "Ah...ha..."

Hearing that maniacal laughter, Bell didn't hesitate and roared, "I'm going to kill you, you bastard!"

He charged at Martin again, his fists clenched, muscles bulging, and his iron fist smashed toward that utterly repulsive white face!

Bell is going to smash this culprit who keeps causing chaos in his nose and blow out his eyes...

But his fist missed!

Since Bell made the first move and even threatened to kill him, Martin, a kind and good person, would certainly not let himself be slaughtered.

He filmed many action scenes with Bale and even experienced Batman beating up the Joker with all his might.

Martin had a good understanding of Bale's punching habits, power, and speed.

He ducked to avoid Bale's punch, then quickly threw a punch with a standard boxing motion, slamming it into Bale's ribs with a thud.

Bell suddenly found it hard to breathe, but his right fist still came crashing down with momentum.

Martin raised his shoulder, and Bell's fist slammed into his shoulder, but it had lost much of its strength.

"Ah—" he screamed again, as if he had been completely enraged, and suddenly threw out a heavy punch with his back hand.

Bell was interrupted and instinctively tried to defend himself, but Martin's fist was fast and hard, hitting him directly on the side of his face.

Compared to Bruce, who regularly spars with Martin, Bale is far inferior.

He felt as if he had been hit by a car; something flew out of his mouth, and he froze for a moment.

Martin's movements were incredibly fast; he kicked out and struck Bell in the stomach. Bell let out a strange cry, tears and snot streaming down his face, before collapsing to his knees and lying flat on the ground.

But Bell hadn't given up verbally; the excruciating pain in his groin drove him mad: "Bastard, I'm going to kill you! I'll definitely kill you!"

Without pausing for a moment, Martin pounced on her, like a lecherous wolf pouncing on a beautiful woman.

He pressed one hand against Bale's neck, glanced at his already missing teeth, grabbed a bottle of Coke from the plastic basket next to him, and burst into maniacal laughter: "You want to kill me? Batman, where's your no-kill policy?!"

Seeing Martin grab the Coke, Nolan remembered the titles of "Cola Guru" and "Cola God of War" and quickly grabbed a megaphone: "Stop! Stop right now!"

The sound was made, but the actor had already gone mad and was not listening to what was being said.

Martin swung a plastic bottle of Coke and smashed it on Bell's head with a bang. The bottle exploded, and Coke splattered all over Bell's head and face.

Emma Thomas quickly called for people to separate them.

The closest extras remained unmoved.

They were all from Atlanta.

Martin grabbed the second bottle of Coke, grinning maliciously, and said, "You want to kill me? Do you think you can?"

The cola, whistling through the air, slammed down towards Bell's head.

With a loud bang, it exploded, spraying Bell with bubbles and water droplets all over his head and face.

Martin picked up a third bottle of Coke and started swinging it around.

Bell struggled to breathe, couldn't open his eyes, and couldn't hear clearly. The nerves, which had been repeatedly tormented, snapped, releasing a burst of angry power. But after the anger and power disappeared, all that remained was endless emptiness, exhaustion, and weakness.

"No..." Bell cried, "No!"

The Coke bottle slammed onto the floor in front of Bell's groin, and the splashed Coke soaked Bell's legs.

Bell felt a chill in his groin, as if he had been struck again. His traumatic stress response kicked in, causing him to curl up as much as possible, like a boiled shrimp.

Martin picked up another bottle, but this time he smashed it down more slowly.

Only those who have been injured in that area understand how terrifying it is. Bell cried out in utter terror, "No! No! Please..."

The cola bottle exploded again upon impact, and Bell panicked, pleading, "Please, please!"

The crew's security rushed over, but Bruce beat them to it, ran up to Martin, grabbed his arm, and dragged Martin toward him.

"It's alright!" He hugged Martin. "No one can hurt you!"

Martin responded with a maniacal laugh, reciting the Joker's lines: "I only want to see chaos and destruction! What doesn't kill me only makes me more grotesque!"

He broke free of Bruce's arm, opened his arms wide, and shouted, "See? I'm not the killer, the real killer is him!"

The accused murderer, however, curled up on the floor like a boiled shrimp, his hands tightly covering his genitals, and through his gaping teeth, he kept uttering neurotic words: "Don't hurt me! Please! Don't hurt me!"

Several security guards tried to help Bell up, but Bell kicked and punched them, repeatedly shouting, "No! Don't hurt me, please!"

Emma Thomas quickly said, "Bell, it's me, Emma. Nobody here will hurt you."

Bell pointed at everyone and shouted, "You, and you all, you're all murderers, all murderers!"

The onlookers are thoroughly enjoying the gossip; today's gossip is just too sweet and delicious.

An abuser, a protagonist with terrible interpersonal relationships on set, and a murderer shouting that he wants to kill Martin—it all seems a bit abnormal.
