Chapter 521 Saving Leonardo

Chapter 521 Saving Leonardo

The Moroccan scenes were completed smoothly, and Martin and Brooks left the crew early. Instead of going straight back to Los Angeles, they took advantage of their limited vacation time to go to the East Coast.

Nicholson called to say that Leonardo was in New York filming "Shutter Island" and was reportedly badly frightened.

As a member of the trio, Martin naturally had to visit Leonardo, mainly to find out what had frightened him so he could prepare ten more for him.

Good brother, loyal to the end.

New York, John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Martin disembarked and found Jack Nicholson in a VIP lounge.

Jennifer Lawrence got up and moved aside to make room for the person next to her.

Martin smiled at her, sat down, and asked, "Jack, is Leo alright?"

Nicholson said, "He was traumatized, and director Scorsese called me specifically because I felt that only the two of us going there together could heal his trauma."

Martin asked curiously, "What caused this? Could it be that you found a ladyboy model? Like Ronaldo did last year."

"Rat." Nicholson shook his head. "Nobody knew he was afraid of rats. There was a scene where he was with a rat, and one of them ran right over his feet. Leo was terrified and screamed on the spot. He couldn't concentrate on the rest of the shoot, and Scorsese had no choice but to ask me for help."

Martin was furious at his lack of self-respect: "He's a man, not a woman! That's a problem, and it needs treatment!"

Nicholson completely agreed: "It's a very serious illness, and as brothers, we have a duty to cure him."

Martin thought about it carefully and said, "Special treatment is needed; general psychological counseling is unlikely to be effective."

Nicholson, still unable to come up with a good solution, asked, "Do you have an idea?"

Martin took out his phone and dialed Alexandra Daddario's number: "In New York? I'm looking for a place to buy some rats that are safe and hygienic. Do you have any suitable connections?"

Alexandra said, "I'll ask around."

Seeing him hang up the phone, Nicholson asked, "Leo finally got to 15 seconds in the 100 meters, are you planning to make him go back to 11 seconds?"

"I plan to have him break the world record." Martin is a good brother and especially loyal: "So that even someone like Bolt would be ashamed of himself and admit defeat when he meets Leo."

He added, "If it gets serious, I have a highly professional psychologist I can recommend to Leo."

Nicholson praised, "You bastard, you really know how to think of your brothers."

Alexandra called back quickly: "Come to the Brooklyn Bridge Park on Long Island, I'll be waiting for you there."

"I'll be there soon." Martin put away his phone and called to Nicholson, "Let's go."

The group exited the terminal, where the car Bruce had arranged was waiting in the parking lot.

The driver handed the keys to Old Bu and moved aside.

Bruce did a quick check, and the four of them left Queens in the same car.

Midway through, Jennifer Lawrence said to Martin, "Elizabeth invited me to your house last weekend."

Martin asked, "Welcome to Maria-Watching's party?"

Lawrence said, "Yes, Elizabeth threw a big welcome party at your house to welcome the First Daughter to Los Angeles. Lily and Lorraine were there, and Elizabeth invited her two sisters, as well as your neighbor Kristen Stewart and her friends."

Martin had heard Elizabeth mention on the phone that the Twilight actress had brought Sylvester Stallone's eldest and second daughters, as well as Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning, among others.

"It's all just little girls acting up," Nicholson said.

Lawrence took his arm: "We had a lot of fun. Elizabeth is amazing; she can organize such a big party all by herself."

Nicholson said to Martin, "Your girlfriend is something else."

Martin smiled. "I know."

Seeing that his old friend understood what he meant, Nicholson said no more.

Soon, the car arrived at the park on the Long Island side of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Alexandra was wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt and denim shorts, and her figure was absolutely stunning.

When God sculpted her body, He must have been particularly fond of this girl.

Alexandra has a large bust and long legs, with an equally stunning curve at the back of her legs.

When Jennifer Lawrence saw her, she couldn't help but feel a little inferior.

In terms of looks and figure alone, they are far inferior.

Seeing Martin get out of the car, Alexandra jogged over to hug him, and then, with Martin's introduction, greeted Nicholson and Lawrence before leading the four of them toward the park's seaside.

Nicholson noticed Lawrence's gaze frequently sweeping over Alexandra's chest and buttocks, and said, "When I was young, I dated women who were prettier and sexier than her."

Lawrence turned to look at him, feigning a coquettish tone: "You mean I'm not pretty or sexy enough?"

"No, no, no," Nicholson laughed heartily. "You're the best in my eyes."

Earlier, Alexandra asked Martin, "How many days will you be staying in New York this time?"

Martin thought for a moment: "About three days."

Alexandra took his arm: "I bought a small apartment building, and you haven't been there yet."

Martin, considering he needed to check on Leonardo's treatment progress that evening, said, "I'll call you tomorrow."

Last year, through Martin's introduction, Alexandra landed her first leading role in Wes Craven's "The House That Never Dies".

She recently heard that New Line Cinema is planning to team up with Craven to make a new "A Nightmare on Elm Street".

Martin isn't coming to New York, but she plans to visit him soon.

When we arrived near the sea, someone was waiting by the railing.

Alexandra told Martin and the others to stop at a distance, then walked over alone, hands in her pockets, and said, "Gordon, did you bring the things?"

Gordon pointed to a cage covered with a black cloth at his feet and said, "More than thirty of them are inside. The school bought them for experiments, so there's no problem."

Alexandra pulled out some cash and handed it to Gordon: "This is for buying things."

"No, really, no need." Gordon refused, pleading like a sycophant: "Anna, I'm so happy that you thought of me for such a small thing and asked me to help you, really."

Alexandra's face darkened, and a cold glint flashed in her jewel-like eyes: "Just take it as I told you to."

Gordon's heart tightened, and he quickly took the money and stuffed it into his inner pocket, as if he could feel the warmth of the goddess's hand.

Alexandra picked up the cage, lifted it slightly to take a look, confirmed that the item was correct, and then turned to leave.

Gordon opened his mouth, then closed it again, but finally couldn't resist: "Do you have time today? I'd like to treat you to dinner."

Alexandra said, "I won't have time these next few days, but I'll call you when I have time."

Gordon sighed deeply, and could only watch the goddess leave.

She likes mice? Gordon wondered if he should steal all the mice from the lab and give them to Alexandra.

Turning the corner, Alexandra saw Martin and quickened her pace towards him. As she drew closer, she picked up the cage and flattered Martin, saying, "I got what you wanted."

Martin asked, "How much did it cost?"

"No need." Alexandra went over and took his arm. "Just tell me what you want. I can find a lot of ways to help you in New York."

Martin took the cage from her and prepared to go to the Brooklyn studio.

Alexandra wanted to go along, her jewel-like eyes like a husky trying to please its owner: "Where are you going next? I'll go with you?"

Martin declined, saying, "I'll call you tomorrow."

"Alright then." Alexandra leaned in and kissed Martin on the cheek. "I'll wait for your call. Remember to call me tomorrow."

Martin nodded, picked up the cage, and walked with Nicholson to the back, got into the car Bruce had driven, and headed to the Brooklyn studio.

Alexandra stood with her hands in her pockets, somewhat annoyed; Martin wasn't paying much attention to her.

She drove back to her car, and when she passed a Saint-Germain art film store, she parked and went inside. She carefully selected several films, intending to study them thoroughly so that she could leave a deeper impression on Martin the next day.

Alexandra believes that after using the same facial cleanser for a long time, it's good to try out different kinds.

The artists in Saint-Germain were all good teachers, and she was able to learn a lot of new things.

…………

Martin checked his ID with security, and the black van drove into the Brooklyn studio.

Bruce knew the way well and drove into the parking lot.

The four of them got out of the car. Martin, carrying the cage, led the way with Nicholson and soon arrived near the studio where "Shutter Island" was being filmed.

Nicholson made a phone call midway through, and Graham was waiting for them in front of the studio.

"Director Scorsese is filming right now and will be here soon." He shook hands with Martin and Nicholson and said, "Leonardo hasn't been doing well lately, which is seriously affecting filming, so he called you."

The studio doors were closed, and the crew was clearly in the middle of filming. Martin and Nicholson waited a while and chatted with Graham about Leonardo's details.

In reality, Nicholson exaggerated; Leonardo did not suffer severe psychological trauma.

However, after his close contact with the rats, his performance plummeted, resulting in a significant increase in the number of takes during filming, causing the male lead's scenes to fall far behind schedule.

Half an hour later, Scorsese emerged from the studio and, seeing Martin and Nicholson, breathed a sigh of relief: "You're finally here."

The trio is very good at causing trouble. If there were other options, Scorsese would not have wanted to invite Martin and Nicholson, who are the most troublesome, to the film crew.

Because if these three get together, the film crew will explode.

Martin asked directly, "Director, where is Leo?"

Scorsese pointed ahead: "He's in that office building over there, in a private lounge. He's been in very bad shape lately and often hides there alone."

Martin sensed something was off: "Just because of rats, not because Gisele Bündchen and Tom Creddy are engaged?"

"What?! Gisele Bündchen is engaged?" Nicholson's eyes widened. "She didn't even invite us to her pre-wedding party."

What's the point of focus? Scorsese had a headache and thought that inviting Martin and Nicholson over might not be a good idea.
