Chapter 622 Trying to steal Yanzi? Let's get him!

In his semi-retired state, Nicholson lacks nothing but fun.

The more interesting something is, the more he wants to participate.

Upon hearing the names of the Oxenberg mother and daughter, Martin asked, "Has Keith Lanier been on this set?"

"No," Nicholson was certain of this: "I didn't see him on set."

He understood Martin's meaning and asked, "Keith Lanier doesn't seem to have met Marina, does he?"

Martin said, "Marina was also at the art museum at the time, so it's hard to say."

After Leonardo returned to Los Angeles, he made a special inquiry: "It is said that Lanier's biggest hobby is to tame beautiful, sexy, and strong-willed women into his slaves."

"Perhaps Marina's unique charisma caught his attention," Nicholson said.

Martin asked, "He's involved in this female slavery scheme, and nobody called the police?"

Leonardo said, "It's all been taken care of."

Martin made a rough assessment: the issue of female slavery might not be a particularly big deal for these sects.

Nicholson pushed up his sunglasses, picked up another pair of binoculars, and looked around the studio. When he reached the parking lot, he pointed out to Martin, "I see the Oxenbergs and their daughter over there in the parking lot."

Martin slightly shifted his binoculars and looked towards the parking lot.

The Oxenberg mother and daughter were standing by a car when they started arguing. They were clearly having a heated argument, and both seemed very agitated. Intia pulled down her pants and pointed to her private parts for Catherine to see, which may have provoked Catherine. Catherine walked over and slapped her hard across the face.

Intiya squatted on the ground, burying her face in her hands and crying.

Catherine knelt down and hugged her to comfort her.

Not long after, the two left the parking lot and entered a nearby two-story office building.

Martin and his two companions watched for a while, and when they saw the film crew leaving the studio, they also went downstairs.

After getting into an ordinary black minivan, Leonardo sighed, "Another fruitless day."

Nicholson said, "You should go and work on the Oscars PR. Spy spies are a game that requires patience, and it's not for someone as impatient as you."

Martin asked, "Great Detective, are you planning to dig deeper?"

Nicholson said, "I'm old, I've seen too much, my threshold is too high, it's not easy to find this kind of exciting game."

He recently studied this carefully: "The swallows that the Americans and the British have captured are basically all in single-line contact, without any horizontal contact with others. I think Marina's superior is most likely that uncle in Paris."

Leonardo said, "Let's go, let's go. Today's detective game is over. Time to go back and enjoy life."

Martin took out his phone and called Natasha, asking, "What's the deal with Marina's project, 'The Dog Game'?"

Natasha said, "I know a casting director named Susie Flavor for this project. When she came to the company to audition actors, she chose Marina. Like many Hollywood production teams, the crew is very careful to keep the plot secret. Marina is only playing a small supporting role. We only received the script for her character. Her character is supposed to be a member of some kind of secret organization, and her storyline goes from resistance to submission..."

Martin, who had already turned on speakerphone, said, "Don't tell anyone else that I called you."

Although Natasha didn't understand, she readily agreed: "I promise."

Detective Nicholson logged on, picked up his phone, and made a call: "Check for me the relationship between Susie Flavor and Nexium, yes, Nxivm!"

Not long after, the call came back, and Nicholson put it on speakerphone.

On the other side, someone said, "Susie Flavor is a member of Nikesem and has been frequenting the Nikesem House on Magnolia Avenue for the past two years."

Martin was not surprised at all by the result.

The man then said, "Jack, I'll send NikeSym's information to your email."

"Hurry up." Nicholson hung up the phone.

Martin said, "The producer is from Nike, and the casting director who chose Marina is also from Nike. What does that say?"

Leonardo DiCaprio said, "Someone's trying to sabotage us!"

Detective Nicholson cursed and said, "Those bastards are trying to steal our swallows!"

Leonardo DiCaprio shared this view: "The swallows are our shared property. Anyone who tries to take what's ours is our enemy!"

Martin said, "I think it might involve Keith Lanier."

"Who else but him can get those Nikesem women to act in unison?" Nicholson pushed up his sunglasses and said sharply, "Trying to steal our Swallow? Very well! Get him!"

Leonardo cautioned, "You specifically warned Martin and me in New York the other day that dealing with these guys would be very troublesome."

"Because he didn't steal our swallows back then!" Nicholson argued logically. "The situation is very clear now: Keith Lanier wants to steal our swallows. If we don't take him down, who else should we take down?"

He then looked at Martin: "Don't forget we have the most troublesome bastard as our trump card; we're sure to make him scream in terror."

Martin retorted, "Jack, you're the trump card of the trio of bastards!"

Nicholson and Leonardo both fixed their eyes on Martin.

Martin said with considerable frustration, "I want to be a good person."

Nicholson said, "Good people will also pick up a gun and fight back when their property is violated, blowing the robber's balls off!"

Leonard grabbed Martin's shoulder: "You're full of bad ideas and all sorts of wicked schemes, so hurry up and get them out of there, or I'll throw you into the Sacred Valley and give you the same treatment as Pete."

Martin said, "I don't know much about this organization."

Nicholson's phone beeped; an email had just arrived in his inbox.

He checked his email and said to Bruce, who was driving, "Bruce, head to Burbank Magnolia Drive."

Bruce nodded, then turned and took another road.

Nicholson looked at the emails for a while, then gave Bruce an address.

Soon, the black van turned onto Mulan Avenue, drove through three intersections, and stopped on the side of the road.

Martin looked across the road, where a rather large office building stood, with the "Nxivm" logo on its roof.

That's Nike Home.

Sunlight streamed through the car window, illuminating Detective Nicholson's sunglasses and creating a golden shimmer.

The great detective stroked his chin and said, "To the outside, Nikesem is a pyramid-structured marketing company, but in reality, it's a cult headquartered in Albany, New York, with branches in Los Angeles, Washington, Mexico, Canada, and Brazil."

He glanced down at his phone again and continued, "In recent years, the Nexium House in Los Angeles has been trending towards replacing Albany as its headquarters, because the leader, Keith Lanier, spends most of his time in Los Angeles with the aim of developing followers in Hollywood. He has a particular fondness for actresses and female artists."

Leonardo said, "No wonder he's got Lily all over him."

Upon hearing Lily's name, Martin frowned slightly and picked up his phone to send a text message.

Lily replied quickly: "I'm in Atlanta, planning a long vacation to go to the port city with Elena."

Martin replied, "Stay there a little longer, no need to rush back."

Lily asked, "Why?"

Martin simply replied, "Keith Lanier is trying to steal important assets from me, Leo, and Jack."

Lily knew she couldn't be of much help in this regard, and going back might only be a burden, so she replied, "Okay, Elena and I will come back after we receive news of your victory."

"Remember to bring bodyguards," Martin reminded him.

Lily replied, "I brought it with me."

Martin put away his phone, looked up, and his seemingly calm face was full of fighting spirit.

Nicholson asked curiously, "Are you free of any worries?"

Martin nodded: "Lily isn't in Los Angeles."

Leonardo looked across at Nike Home and said, "What else is there to say? Let's find a way to take down this Keith Lanier."

Nicholson picked up his binoculars and looked at the entrance to the Nexium House; almost everyone coming and going was a woman.

Martin recalled what he had seen in the studio parking lot and said, "Have someone look into the situation of Catherine and India. I feel like India has a lot of disagreements with her mother."

Nicholson also witnessed the scene: "India isn't very old, and she probably hasn't been with Nikeam for long. I'll have someone check."

Leonard cautioned, "There have been several cases involving Keith Lanier and Nikesom of woman abuse, all of which have been dropped. Focusing on this aspect is unreliable and could alert Nikesom, making them more wary of us."

Nicholson nodded: "You're absolutely right."

Martin thought for a moment and said, "My opinion remains the same as before: either we don't mess with them, or if we do, we wipe them out completely."

Leonardo DiCaprio said, "I agree."

"While I enjoy the process of messing with people, I also strive for the best possible outcome." Nicholson adjusted his sunglasses. "I've decided. This operation will be codenamed 'The Hunt,' and I will be the supreme commander. Do the three of you agree?"

With the boss speaking, what could Martin and Leonardo say?

Needless to say, Bruce was driving.

Martin patted the back of the driver's seat: "Let's go back and come up with a suitable plan."

Bruce started the car and drove away.

Nicholson asked, "Have you come up with a solution?"

Martin shook his head: "I've been working all day, and my head is spinning. How could I possibly come up with something like that?"

Leonardo DiCaprio said, "You need a clear head to make the right plan."

Without a second thought, Nicholson said to Bruce, "Old Bruce, go wash your face at the Nightclub, and we'll talk about other things when you're refreshed."

Martin gave a thumbs-up: "As expected of our boss."

The black van sped off to Sunset Boulevard, where Bruce took Martin and the other two bastards to the Nightclub.

Half an hour later, the three men emerged refreshed and headed straight for Martin's estate to discuss how to deal with the people next.
