Chapter 655 High-End Aesthetics, High-End Face

Chapter 655 High-End Aesthetics, High-End Face

Bruce drove a four-wheeled electric vehicle, carrying Martin and Nicholson, toward Paramount Studios.

Arriving at a newly established film studio, Nicholson jumped out of the car first, saying as he walked, "I'm going to settle accounts with Leo. He won the Oscar for Best Actor, and then he abandoned us. He didn't keep any of his promises."

He turned to Martin, who was following him, and said, "Don't you dare stop me! I'm going to cause a huge scene at Leo's new film studio today!"

Instead of offering any advice, Martin took the opportunity to fan the flames: "We waited for his Asian beauty for over a month, but we didn't even see a single hair of hers. This despicable behavior is absolutely unforgivable."

The two stormed into the studio.

The newly established Wolf of Wall Street studio has Leonardo DiCaprio's Roadblock Pictures as its largest shareholder. Everyone at the studio knows about the trio's relationship, and no one dares to stop Martin and Nicholson.

The two walked through the lobby, asked the receptionist a question, and went directly to the main conference room.

Seeing that the conference room door was open, Nicholson barged in.

Martin followed, then dashed off in a single stride.

Just a few meters ahead, a girl with long blonde hair came up to Leo, suddenly raised her arm, and was about to slap Leo's chubby face.

Leonardo seemed stunned.

This is not an audition room, and the production crew does not conduct auditions in a conference room.

Martin was incredibly fast; he rushed over, grabbed the girl's wrist, and flung her aside.

The girl staggered and stepped back.

Martin stood between the two.

Nicholson also rushed over.

The two of them are going to mess with Leonardo today, but they can mess with Leonardo, not outsiders!

The girl looked up at Martin and Nicholson, her eyes filled with confusion and bewilderment.

Martin realized he recognized the woman; he had seen many of her films in his past life, and the one he remembered most vividly was Harley Quinn.

Leonardo quickly explained, "It's a misunderstanding. This is Margot Robbie, an actress who came to audition. I was just discussing the role with her, and I asked her to hit me."

Martin could see clearly that the fight was not fake at all. He immediately exchanged a glance with Nicholson and read the same thing: Leo had masochistic tendencies!

"Sorry," Martin said to Margot Robbie, "Are you alright?"

Seeing his friendly smile, Margot Robbie quickly said, "It's okay, you didn't mean it." She added deliberately, "There are countless girls all over the world who dream of Martin holding their hand, and I'm never washing this wrist again."

Leonardo said, "That's enough for today. I'll have someone contact you to schedule an audition."

"Thank you." Margot Robbie walked past Martin, suddenly pulled out a card from her hand, stuffed it into Martin's hand, and then quickly left.

Although she is only 21 years old, she has already starred in many movies and television series and is very familiar with the entertainment industry. She knows how to climb the ladder.

How many female celebrities didn't rise to the top by sleeping their way up?

Seduce is the most convincing argument.

Leonardo had the conference room door closed, pulled out a chair and sat down, saying to Martin, "What, you're interested in her? I remember she has neither a husband nor a fiancé."

When it comes to being a scoundrel, all three are the same.

Martin didn't respond at all. Sitting across from him, he said, "Leo, I understand why you keep changing girlfriends. The reason isn't with you, it's with those women."

Leonardo was astonished; Martin was actually speaking! He sighed, "It wasn't me who dumped them, it was clearly me who got dumped!"

Martin started setting a trap: "You think I'm right too, right?"

Leonardo nodded repeatedly: "You're absolutely right this time."

"Leo's ex-girlfriends didn't grasp Leo's deepest needs," Martin said seriously. "Jack, you saw what happened just now. Leo has masochistic tendencies deep down, so when Margot Robbie slapped him, he not only didn't want to dodge, but he willingly endured it."

He analyzed logically and with evidence: "Leo's ex-girlfriends were all very obedient to him, except for Gisele Bündchen. If you think back carefully to the gossip and rumors about Leo over the years, Gisele had many public arguments with Leo, and once she even smashed up Leo's house. She even pointed her finger at Leo and said she wanted to break up. Leo gave in time and time again, and even got engaged to Gisele in the end."

Nicholson sighed, "It's a shame I couldn't attend Gisele and Leo's bachelorette party."

Leonardo's eyes widened, and he held up two middle fingers in front of Nicholson.

This bastard abandoned all brotherhood in his attempt to get back at him.

Martin continued, "Giselle, who treated Leo like a dog, was not only once engaged to him, but he still can't forget her. In contrast, all the women who were subservient to Leo were just fleeting memories for him."

Nicholson nodded: "You're right."

It seems that's true? Leonardo actually felt there was some truth to it; Gisele, who was the fiercest and most formidable to him, was the only one who could truly enter his heart.

Martin said, "Admit it, Leo, you're a masochist. Only sadists can make you truly love."

"Are there any similar training courses in the industry?" Nicholson, seeing Leonardo fall into the trap, quickly added fuel to the fire: "I'll have Lorraine sign up today to learn how to be a S!"

Leonardo grabbed Nicholson by the collar: "You've got your hands on me, fine, but you're also after my fortune!"

Nicholson slapped his hand away: "Martin and I practically risked our lives so you could win the Oscar for Best Actor, and what did you do? What about the Asian beauties party you promised?"

Martin cracked his knuckles, looking ready to make a move.

"There were some unexpected situations, so it's not entirely my fault," Leonardo said, pointing at Martin. "It was all to satisfy that bastard!"

Martin asked in surprise, "What does this have to do with me?"

Leonardo explained, "Your tastes are too unique, so I specifically looked for beautiful female celebrities in Asia who weren't too old, were married or engaged, but with these restrictions, it wasn't easy to find suitable candidates."

He took out his phone and made a call, ordering a file folder to be delivered. He opened the folder, took out a large stack of photos, and placed them in front of Martin and Nicholson: "And the people they selected... I'm very dissatisfied. What kind of beauties are these?!"

Martin looked through the photos; the women in them were remarkably similar in some ways: round faces, small eyes, high cheekbones, flat noses, and freckles.

Nicholson glanced at it briefly, then tossed it aside and asked, "Was your business partner deliberately trying to sabotage you?"

"No," Leonardo said helplessly. "His subordinates were all chosen based on the 'high-class Asian faces' praised in European and American newspapers, and this is the result."

He picked up a photo and said, "I'm sure I can't go down there, and I'm sure you guys can't go down there either, so we have to pause."

Nicholson said, "Those newspapers are full of nonsense. What kind of beautiful woman looks like that?"

"If that's the case, let's forget about it." Martin has been in Hollywood for so long that he's quite certain that there are indeed some differences in aesthetics between the two sides, but it's definitely not to such an exaggerated extent.

The mainstream media in Europe and America, needless to say, many people already understand what's going on.

Leonardo slammed his hand on the table: "You guys are my best brothers, and you helped me so much at the Oscars. I can't possibly repay you with this! Wouldn't that be repaying kindness with enmity? So, the party is postponed for now."

Martin thought for a moment and said, "In a while, Samsung will send some of their domestic celebrities to Los Angeles to film a Samsung phone promotion with me. There might be quite a few people coming. I'll organize a party then, and you can all come too."

He specifically emphasized: "Unlike Leo's party, this one is about mutual consent, but we'll have to wait until May."

Nicholson pointed to the photos: "If that's the case, let's just forget about it."

"You may not believe the aesthetics promoted by Western media, nor the so-called high-end aesthetics touted in Asia." Martin believes this won't go wrong: "You must believe the aesthetics of the South Korean chaebols. Although some have incorporated technological elements, we're not looking for girlfriends..."

Leonardo DiCaprio, who has also been to South Korea, agreed: "The aesthetic sense of South Korean chaebols is absolutely flawless."

Martin said, "Just wait for my good news."

The relevant agreements were reached when the contract was signed. Samsung spent a lot of money to sign Martin. Although there were other considerations, the most important factor was still commercial promotion.

The two sides will soon collaborate on filming a globally promoted version of GG.

Samsung will be sending a number of actors from the Korean film industry to Los Angeles to work with Martin.

The director has also been chosen; David Fincher will dedicate a few days to preparing and filming the GG movie.

He was originally a director of movies and music videos, making quick money with ease.

Martin also received the script for GG forwarded from the Korean side. The content was actually very simple: it featured a group of beautiful women and a famous Korean actress as the background, and he entered the film set with a Samsung phone.

Leonardo DiCaprio expressed his deep regret for not handling the party well, saying, "I will cover all the expenses of the party and all related costs. Anything that can be solved with money and resources is not a problem."

Martin said, "It's mainly the latter."

The three bastards huddled together and whispered for a while. They were still discussing it when they went out for lunch, and then they each went their separate ways.

In the afternoon, Martin went to the Disney Studios and arrived at the soundstage where the "Mars Rescue" crew was located. He found that several large soundstages across the street were all open, with trucks coming and going, constantly delivering various goods.

He asked the people in his own studio, "Which film crew is this? They've rented so many studios to build sets all at once."

The man replied, "Jerry Bruckheimer's 'The Lone Ranger' crew started moving in across the street yesterday afternoon."

Martin stopped to watch; the scene was astonishing, with vans coming and going in a long line.

Jerry Bruckheimer has worked with Disney for many years and is most familiar with Disney studios. This time, when he collaborated with Annapurna Pictures on "The Lone Ranger," he still placed the crew's studios and soundstages at Disney.
