Chapter 804 The Simp Has Nothing

Chapter 804 The Simp Gets Nothing

Beverly Hills, Charlize Theron's home.

On the second floor, Martin sat behind a window near the stairs, from which he could see Charlize Theron in the living room on the first floor, as well as Stuart Townsend, who had come begging for help.

The latter had puffy eyes, was thin, and looked listless, a stark contrast to Charlize who was radiant after being pampered.

"I'm sorry, Sally, I'm an idiot." Townsend looked miserable and pleaded, "I was wrong! It's all my fault, I was really wrong, let's get back together."

Charlize's face was tense, and she didn't say a word, appearing very unhappy.

Townsend's gaze swept over the photo of the two of them still hanging on the living room wall, and a strange sense of confidence welled up within him. He said, "Only during this time have I realized that the only person I've ever loved, and still love, is you. Without you, my life is worse than death!"

He has no big villa to live in, no luxury car to drive, no one to give him money every week, no easy job, no top lawyer to deal with all sorts of troubles, and being constantly harassed by that Tony has even made life a problem.

It's alright if he hasn't experienced a luxurious life, but after experiencing all this, how can he cope?

Only now does Townsend realize how rare his previous easy life was, something many men dream of.

The woman supporting him isn't some wealthy old lady, but Charlize Theron!

Townsend glanced at the group photo at the stairwell, his confidence rising again: "I know you're just playing around with that Martin Davis, not serious. No matter what he's like, can he compare to our ten-year relationship?"

When Charlize first hooked up with Martin, she thought that ten years with Townsend was not as good as one night with Martin.

This view still holds true today.

"You don't need to say anything more." She exuded a chilling aura. "You can leave now."

Townsend knew Charlize and knew she was unhappy, but it didn't seem to be directed at him, so he cautiously asked, "What happened?"

Charlize did not answer, her gaze fixed on the coffee table.

Having suffered and endured hardship, Townsend has now become a complete sycophant, and immediately picked up the newspaper to read it.

The entire newspaper page was dedicated to last night's Oscars ceremony, but there was little about Charlize Theron.

Townsend was initially puzzled, but then he saw the song that the host, McFarlane, was singing, and in a section below, he saw all the lyrics.

"Because of that bastard?" Townsend asked, pointing to McFarlane's song.

Charlize didn't answer, but her expression grew even uglier.

Townsend immediately understood and started thinking about what to do.

Charlize was being mean: "I'm in a really bad mood today and I don't want to talk about relationships. You can leave!" She stood up to open the door: "We'll talk about this when I'm in a better mood."

Townsend gritted his teeth: "Fine, we'll talk about it when you're in a better mood. I'm leaving now."

Charlize kept staring at him.

Townsend left, got into his beat-up Toyota (who had probably been owned by many people), and drove away from the familiar mansion.

He was in a slightly better mood than when he arrived.

Thinking of the untouched photo of the two of them hanging on the living room wall and at the corner of the stairs, Townsend seemed to see hope for reconciliation and the allure of a life of luxury beckoning him again.

If she didn't still have feelings for him, why would Charlize keep displaying their photos together?

This signal is so obvious!

Townsend left the North Side of Sunset Boulevard, made several phone calls, and quickly received the news.

Seth McFarlane, who just hosted the Oscars, is currently generating a lot of buzz, with many paparazzi following and photographing him.

Charlize is in a bad mood right now, and the reason is Seth McFarlane's vulgar song last night. New simp Townsend has decided to teach McFarlane a lesson to cheer Charlize up.

Once he found McFarlane's address, he immediately started his car and drove there.

An ordinary Volkswagen followed at a leisurely pace, and the driver in the passenger seat made a phone call to Bruce.

A few minutes later, Bruce picked up Martin and Charlize in a minivan and quickly chased after Townsend's car.

Charlize asked, "He understood the hints I gave him, right?"

Martin said, "It's not about whether he can understand it or not, it's about whether he's willing to be a sycophant."

"I know him better than anyone." After getting involved with Martin, Charlize looked back and felt incredibly foolish. How could she have tolerated a man like Townsend for so many years? "He's ambitious, mediocre, and loves to enjoy life. Where else could he find this kind of gigolo opportunity besides that fool Charlize Theron from before?"

Martin suddenly thought of Julie and Aniston and said, "Indeed, it's terrifying when an ex-wife or ex-fiancée turns love into hate!"

Charlize asked, "Is this your reason for not wanting to get married or engaged?"

Martin said, "Because I'm a responsible person."

Not long after, Townsend's Toyota appeared ahead.

Charlize tilted her head and glanced at him, then said, "In the last few years of our relationship, he had absolutely no income but spent tens of millions of dollars. I just want to get some interest back!"

Martin pulled out his phone: "How about we get a few people to come and watch the show?"

Charlize nodded: "Whatever you want."

Martin dialed Nicholson's number: "Jack, hurry up and come out, there's some juicy gossip to be had, or you'll miss out!"

Nicholson asked for the approximate address: "Wait for me, I'll be there soon."

Martin then called Leonardo.

Leonardo had already caught the urge from Martin and Nicholson, abandoning the blonde, long-legged female model and rushing over.

Midway through the journey, Townsend stopped the car, went to a Chinese restaurant, picked up a bucket, and put it in the trunk.

Around noon, the Toyota pulled up outside a shop on 7th Street in Santa Monica.

Bruce's van made a brief stop at the next intersection, and Leonardo got in first.

After waiting a short while, Nicholson and Lorraine came over from the other side and got into the van.

Martin glanced at Toyota and said, "Move closer."

Lorraine opened her bag, took out a DV camcorder, and quickly adjusted the lens.

Charlize asked curiously, "Why are you carrying a camera?"

Lorraine laughed and said, "I work part-time as a freelance journalist, shooting gossip stories to earn some extra money. I've been short on cash these past two years."

Charlize was confused. She looked at Nicholson, then at Martin: "What's going on?"

Martin simply stated, "Don't underestimate Lorraine just because she's only a part-time reporter; many trending news stories originate from her."

Lorraine boasted, "Amber Heard's Rushman, Emma Watson's Rushman..."

She suddenly realized something was wrong: "Why are all the exclusive news stories I get 'smell-perfect'?"

Leonardo chimed in, "Because troublemakers always have a certain 'flavor' to them."

Martin and Nicholson simultaneously gave Leonardo the middle finger.

Charlize looked at the group with great curiosity. There were many rumors in the industry about the trio of bastards, and now they certainly looked like three idiots.

Martin patted Lorraine on the shoulder and pointed towards the Toyota: "The main character has gotten out of the car."

Townsend got out of the Toyota and stood near the trunk smoking.

Right behind him, there was a Lexus parked.

Lorraine slightly opened the car window, and the camera lens was pointed in that direction. Now she was skilled at it, just like a paparazzi moving around the streets of Los Angeles.

Leonardo reminded him, "The person is out."

Several people looked in that direction at the same time.

As soon as Seth McFarlane stepped out of the shop facing the street, several paparazzi started taking pictures of him.

This person, who just hosted the Oscars ceremony and delivered a classic performance, is currently enjoying a surge in popularity.

Townsend glanced at the man, confirmed it was him, threw away his cigarette butt and stomped it out, opened the Toyota's trunk, picked up the bucket, and strode toward McFarlane.

Two paparazzi nearby suddenly smelled a foul odor, turned around and saw the bucket Townsend was carrying, and instinctively moved aside.

McFarlane also smelled the scent and saw Townsend.

This guy is a prankster in movies and on stage, but in real life he's a pretty serious person. Without saying a word, he turned around and tried to run back into the store.

Townsend, who had temporarily become a sycophant, had waited for so long, how could he let him get away? He chased after him for a few steps, picked up the bucket, and splashed the contents out.

The two were not far apart when liquid flying out of the bucket drenched McFarlane from head to toe.

In an instant, red, green, and yellow liquid flowed down McFarlane's head.

McFarlane was completely stunned.

Townsend shouted, "This is for Charlize Theron!"

A flurry of flashes went off around them.

McFarlane tried to speak, but the moment he opened his mouth, he was overwhelmed by the smell emanating from his body and began to gag.

Townsend, who hadn't been in the spotlight for a long time, thought of the tumultuous feminist movement in Los Angeles and shouted again, "This is for all the women you've insulted!"

Inside the van, Charlize heard the voice coming from inside and couldn't help but shake her head: "Even gigolos have learned to use buffs!"

Martin couldn't help but laugh and said, "You shouldn't see him again anytime soon."

Charlize said, "I'm leaving North America to film a movie, and I probably won't be back in Los Angeles for six months."

Townsend, on the other side, had already gotten into his car and was about to leave.

Lorraine turned off the camera and said, "Another news story with a pungent smell!" She took out her phone and dialed a number: "Big news—Seth McFarlane was doused with garbage in the street by feminist supporters, wanna hear it?"

The reply came immediately: "Meet at the usual place."

After Townsend's Toyota left, Bruce started his commercial vehicle and also left.

As for how things will develop afterward, that's not something they care about.

Martin scrolled through his phone contacts to Kate Winslet and dialed: "I'm going to check out TMZ in a bit. The news about Seth McFarlane's misfortune is really interesting."

Kate said, "Martin, you avenged me? Thank you so much, but it's a pity you look down on me now..."

Charlize muttered deliberately, "Losing more weight."

Martin glared at her.

Charlize didn't care at all.

Kate hung up the phone.

On the way back, Lorraine got off the car alone.

As soon as Martin and his party entered Beverly Hills, TMZ published a video news report of McFarlane being doused with water.

The high ground of online public opinion was immediately occupied by feminists. Instead of sympathizing with McFarlane, there were only voices mocking him.
