About ten minutes later, the bank's alarm suddenly went off, and then Li Chuan saw two figures appear outside the wall in front of him.

Newt helped Jacob, who was so frightened he could barely stand, to his feet, politely straightened his clothes, bent down to put down the box he was carrying, and was about to cast a forgetfulness spell on Jacob.

However, Jacob thought Newt was about to cast some terrible spell on him. While shouting "I'm sorry," he picked up the box that Newt had just put down, knocked Newt to the ground, and quickly ran out of the alley and squeezed into the crowd.

"Don't get so worked up. I'm a wizard too. I just didn't expect you to be taken down by a Muggle. I didn't have time to take out my wand to immobilize him."

This young man was none other than Li Chuan, who had deliberately hidden here beforehand.

He knew that Newt was one of Dumbledore's most trusted wizards at this stage and a key figure in the development of events later on, so he deliberately came to make contact with him in advance.

"You have violated Article 1 of Chapter 3 and Article 5 of Chapter 8. I am going to take you to Congress for trial."

Tina looked at Newt and Li Chuan with a serious expression.

Li Chuan shrugged helplessly:

"This doesn't seem to concern me; I just happened to be here and witnessed it all."

"Yes, it has nothing to do with this gentleman."

New York quickly explained to Tina.

However, Tina, holding Newt in one hand and Li Chuan in the other, headed straight for the Woolworth Building across the street:

"You two are both wizards from England, and you both showed up in that alley at the same time. I find it hard to believe you're not related. Let's talk about it at Parliament!"

Seeing this, Newt and Li Chuan had no choice but to follow Tina toward the Capitol.

"Mr. Scamander, you seem to know a lot about magical creatures?"

On the way to Congress, Li Chuan took the initiative to chat with Newt.
