Chapter 35 I Actually Became Satan

Everything is ready, except for the final push!

"Now, let's wait for the good news that Shit-da-ke has been kidnapped!"

After handling the sale of the house, Zhou Cheng's mood improved considerably.

This wave of investment can be described as enormous, with his entire fortune staked on it.

But it's a sure-win deal!

Shedding the loser status and becoming a rich person—okay, becoming a rich person might be a bit of an overreaction.

But achieving financial freedom shouldn't be a problem at all.

For Zhou Cheng, this was a tremendous improvement.

For a long time to come, they can enjoy life comfortably without having to toil and struggle to earn a few coins.

"Let's tidy up the room!"

After returning home, Zhou Cheng didn't rest either.

Instead, she started cleaning and tidying up his "homebody room".

What does a room look like for a guy who lives alone for a long time? Those who know, know.

It definitely needs a good tidying up.

Moreover, the real estate agent had already told Zhou Cheng that he would bring a client to view the property that afternoon.

With the real estate agent being so helpful, Zhou Cheng should naturally put in the same effort, shouldn't he?

And so.

For the next two hours, Zhou Cheng experienced what it was like to be a housekeeper.

Although it left me looking rather disheveled.

But looking at the completely renovated environment, Zhou Cheng was still in a very good mood.

After taking a quick shower and changing his clothes, Zhou Cheng settled comfortably on the sofa to watch TV.

Waiting for the first customer to arrive.

Clang!

I had just finished watching one and a half episodes of an American TV series when I heard a knock on the door.

"They're here!"

Zhou Cheng's spirits lifted slightly. He turned off the TV with a snap and quickly slipped on his slippers to open the door.

However, the face that appeared outside the door made Zhou Cheng pause for a moment.

The person who came was not his real estate agent, but another familiar face.

Deadpool, Wade Wilson.

???

It's you again!

What are you doing here again?

Why that expression?

"Were you so happy to see me that you forgot to say 'Please come in'?"

"But it's okay, I forgive you."

Wade Wilson really didn't know how to be polite to Zhou Cheng.

He made a few excuses for himself, then swayed and went inside.

"Wow, it's completely transformed."

Wade Wilson also noticed the changes in the room and exclaimed, "It's really not comfortable here. This shouldn't be the room of a single man living alone."

"Speak your mind, or spit it out."

Zhou Cheng didn't bother to greet Wade Wilson, and sat down on the sofa by himself, casually saying something to him.

"I just worked up a sweat for you, and this is how you repay me?"

"Dude, that's really ruthless."

Wade Wilson started rambling on again.

After rambling on and on, he finally pulled out a camera and presented it to Zhou Cheng.

I pressed the buttons on it a few times.

An old man, stripped naked, bound hand and foot, and covered in bruises, immediately came into Zhou Cheng's view.

It was none other than his former idiot boss, Smith.

At this moment, Smith was no longer the spirited man he once was; he looked utterly disheveled.

Zhou Cheng couldn't help but shake his head and click his tongue in disbelief: "This is truly tragic."

"Actually... this is nothing at all."

"I'm sorry, but your request isn't the most outrageous one I've ever made."

"It's not even moderately perverted, no, it's not even perverted, it's an insult to perversion."

"Last week I picked up a high school student, or rather, a high school girl. She was quite pretty and well-developed, like that celebrity I remember..."

"Never mind, her request is truly perverted..."

Wade Wilson then began to enthusiastically recount Zhou Cheng's remarkable feat.

"Alright, Wade, I'm not interested in your glorious history."

Zhou Cheng waved his hand to interrupt the other person, "Anyway, you've completed the request from the old lady next door, and I'm sure she'll be very satisfied."

"Is that all?"

"You just said the old lady next door was very satisfied, and then... nothing more?"

Wade Wilson shrugged and stared intently at Zhou Cheng.

"Otherwise what?"

"You want me to thank you on behalf of the old lady next door?"

"Okay, thank you, Wade. Is that alright now?"

Zhou Cheng raised an eyebrow at the other person.

"Just one word of thanks?"

"You're not waiting for the old lady next door to pay you, are you?"

Zhou Cheng remained calm, without even blinking, and said, "I'm sorry, the old lady next door fell and died not long ago while going downstairs."

"You just said that the old lady would be very satisfied."

"Yes, if she knew in the afterlife, she certainly would."

Wade Wilson: "..."

Could they possibly be any more shameless?

When it comes to shamelessness, I, Little Scoundrel, would call you the strongest.

"Thank you for the compliment, Grandma next door!"

"That's really touching."

Wade Wilson shook his head and shrugged, seemingly giving up on any unrealistic fantasies about commissions.

"He's gone, you heartless bastard!"

Wade Wilson waved to Zhou Cheng and stood up, intending to leave.

"Wait a moment!"

But suddenly, Wade Wilson seemed to remember something.

He began to scrutinize Zhou Cheng from head to toe.

"So alike, so incredibly alike!"

"That's wonderful!"

As he looked him over, Wade Wilson's eyes gleamed.

This made Zhou Cheng feel uneasy.

What the hell is he doing?

"What kind of look is that?"

"Take it back right now, don't force me to take action!"

Zhou Cheng immediately issued a serious warning to Wade Wilson.

"Zhou, I have a chance to make a lot of money. Interested in pulling off this?"

Wade Wilson suddenly spoke mysteriously.

"Stop, halt, no!"

"I don't believe a jerk like you can produce anything worthwhile."

Without a second thought, Zhou Cheng directly rejected Wade Wilson.

No matter what that scoundrel was up to, Zhou Cheng had no intention of getting involved.

"I don't believe anyone would turn down money."

Wade Wilson was incredibly confident.

He didn't stand on ceremony at all. After looking around Zhou Cheng's room for a while, he directly opened Zhou Cheng's laptop.

He slapped his hands on it repeatedly.

"Forget it, stop with this useless stuff."

"I can't agree to that, no matter what..."

Zhou Cheng's words were abruptly cut off halfway through.

As Wade Wilson manipulated the screen, several images suddenly appeared on the screen.

Zhou Cheng only glanced at it before being stunned for a moment.

That was none other than a photograph of himself!

To be more precise, it's a photo of him wearing a mask while fighting criminals in Hell's Kitchen.

Why the hell is this appearing online?

And why would Deadpool think he could make a lot of money?

Zhou Cheng was completely bewildered.

"Who is this person?"

Zhou Cheng suppressed his curiosity and asked Wade Wilson.

"That's the key point: nobody knows who he is."

"But people in the underworld call him 'Satan.' Satan, isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?"

Wade Wilson began to speak rapidly as he introduced himself to Zhou Cheng.

Thank you 08a for the multiple donations.
