Mystery: My Encounters with the Celestial God

Chapter 41: A Bountiful Harvest

Chapter 41: A Bountiful Harvest

Ron's golden eyes radiated endless majesty and coldness. He watched this scene without any emotional fluctuation, taking the submission and kneeling of those undead creatures for granted.

As a great being, this is only natural.

As Ron looked, the boy carrying the ham peered out from behind the fence, completely unaware of the danger he was in.

"Ron, look, it's ham!!!"

The blue-eyed boy couldn't contain his excitement and immediately went to Ron's side, half showing off and half excitedly sharing his achievements with his good friend.

"We can use this huge ham to make soup, or we can cut it into strips, pan-fry it, and eat it wrapped in wheat pancakes!"

Today's gains far exceeded Roy's expectations, and he couldn't control himself, pouring out his thoughts to Ron incessantly.

The blue-eyed boy was always so enthusiastic, always sharing anything that happened immediately.

Ron also put away his dignified and cold demeanor and resumed his disguise as a human.

But for some reason, he felt a little dazed at this moment, as if he had been wearing a mask for a long time and suddenly realized that it was just a fake version of himself.

This feeling made him uncomfortable, and he didn't want to accept his superior self.

"What a joke! That's me, it's just me in disguise!"

The blond boy shook his head, regaining his will, and his gaze became firm again.

"Ron, what's wrong?"

"No, it's nothing. I was just a little worried you'd be discovered when you went in!"

Ron brushed off the blue-eyed youth's concern, then continued to ask.

"Would you like another ham?"

"No, Ron, we've already got enough. Any more and we'll probably be discovered. Besides, we need to transport the harvest back before we're truly safe!"

Roy Moore was not carried away by his unexpected harvest. He knew very well that these things did not belong to him yet, and only what he ate was truly his!

This is also the survival wisdom gained from years of wandering here.

"Ron, let's go back quickly!"

"I wonder what kind of expressions Elsa and the others will make when they see this ham?"

As the blue-eyed boy imagined the girl's adoring expression, he beckoned Ron back to their secret base via a path where even the crimson moonlight rarely penetrated.

After carefully arranging the four bags of food distributed at the celebration and the ham that was as important as his own life, the blue-eyed boy finally let out a long sigh of relief.

His face, flushed with tension and carrying the ham, was red from the effort. Without bothering to calm his erratic breathing, Roy picked up the Guadalcano shell and gulped down a large mouthful of water.

The cool sensation traveled down his throat and into his stomach, finally bringing the excited boy back to his senses.

He looked again at the biggest prize of the night, the huge ham that emitted a faint aroma, and for a moment he felt that everything that had happened before was a dream, but the things he had in the dream were now really right in front of him.

How could this not be exciting!

The creaking of the wooden door woke Roy completely.

He could tell it was Elsa opening the door.

Roy's face broke into an uncontrollable smile as he looked triumphantly at the open, dilapidated wooden door and at Elsa, who was carrying a bag as she entered.

"Roy, what's wrong? Why are you making that strange face?"

The perceptive girl noticed something was off about the blue-eyed boy as soon as she entered the room. She could tell a lot from his expression, and even that Roy wanted to show off.

This seems to be good news!

The thought flashed through Elsa's mind.

"Elsa, look! What's this?!"

The blue-eyed boy didn't hide anything; instead, he immediately showed his gains to the girl.

"Death above all, it's ham!!!"

"Death above all, it's ham!!!"

Elsa and the shy boy behind her both gasped in surprise, staring in disbelief at what they were seeing.

Meat is a rare treat for them; sometimes they might not eat it even once a month.

Although there are many edible animals in the wilderness, these animals are either too dangerous for them or still too dangerous.

If you were to recklessly go hunting, it's uncertain who would eat whom.

"Roy, you're amazing!"

"How did you get it!?"

Elsa's face lit up with a bright smile, and even her usually cool voice became much more lively.

She stepped forward and hugged the blue-eyed boy, causing him to blush and stammer even as he tried to utter his triumphant words.

"Roy, don't get too cocky. My sister and I brought back some good stuff too!"

The shy boy's sudden appearance broke the somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere.

Jord tossed the small bag he was holding onto the table.

A crashing sound rang in his ears; the sound of hard objects colliding made Roy perk up his ears.

He recognized the voice very well.

That's the sound of candies colliding!

"Where did you get the candy from!?"

The blue-eyed boy gasped in surprise, looking at Elsa with equal disbelief.

Today's gains far exceeded his expectations, sweeping away all the gloom in his heart and leaving only boundless anticipation and longing for the future.

Elsa and her brother were the same; this stroke of luck ignited a beautiful hope for the future in their hearts!

They felt that no matter how great the difficulties ahead, they could overcome them.

Survival, a task that was difficult for them, seemed to become quite easy in that instant.

The three people huddled together, looking at each other. They didn't say much, but the same warm smiles on their faces spoke of their beautiful aspirations for life.

As long as we work hard, everything will be alright!

This scene was witnessed by Ron, who was quietly observing everything from the side. He would occasionally push up his monocle that kept slipping down, and at this moment he looked like a treacherous villain from a novel by Emperor Roselle, or one of those who destroy beautiful things.

"Ron, I also want to thank you!"

"You must have brought us this good fortune!"

"And you helped me a lot tonight, thank you so much, my friend!"

After a moment of excitement, the three of them stopped fantasizing and the blue-eyed boy realized that he had forgotten his good friend.

He also gave Ron a big hug with an excited smile.

Blue-eyed boys are always like that; they are enthusiastic about everything.

"ah!?"

Ron was a little overwhelmed by the enthusiasm. He stiffened as the enthusiastic boy hugged him, and his monocle fell to the ground with the movement.

The image of that treacherous villain was instantly shattered, leaving only the bewildered teenager standing there dumbfounded.

This was an intense emotion and a way of being treated that he had never experienced before.

Even though the feedback wasn't good, this story still had to be finished.

Besides, I don't really think this story is that bad, so please stop criticizing me (﹏).
