Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 109 The Plane Under the Glacier

Chapter 109 The Plane Under the Glacier (Second Update)

Los Angeles, Tony's super mansion.

"Chief, Agent Hill has replied that Miss Wizard has been safely returned to Hell's Kitchen!"

Black Widow reported to Nick, who was talking to Tony.

Nick nodded, then pointed to the large box at his feet that was labeled "Howard Stark's Property," and looked at Tony again:

"Your father is not what you think. He was one of the people who founded S.H.I.E.L.D., and this box is what he left for you. Open it, and maybe you can solve all your problems."

After saying that, Nick stood up and looked at his watch:

"It's getting late, and I have other work to do. You'll stay here and study this box. I'll have Coulson, yes, the one you've met before, supervise you here."

As for Natasha, she will remain undercover at Stark Industries, that's it!

"Hey, hey, hey, what are you talking about? I don't know what this is or how to untie it, and you can't restrict my freedom..."

Upon hearing Nick's words, Tony instantly lost his composure.

However, Nick completely ignored him, glared at him fiercely, and turned and left.

As Black Widow left with Nick, she kindly reminded Tony that she had cut off all communications throughout the mansion.

"Well, Agent Coulson? You seem a little different from when we last met!"

After Nick and Black Widow left, Tony had no choice but to approach Coulson, who was smiling.

Coulson smugly touched his hairline:

"I have to thank that witch's magic for this!"

Tony nodded:

"Oh, it seems her magic can even grow hair. That's amazing. By the way, I'm going to do some physical training in a bit, then I'll go to the basement to start my experiment. If you could send one of your men downstairs to buy me some food or drinks, that would be even better!"

However, Coulson saw right through Tony's little scheme.

He replied with a broad smile:

"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, this is not my job. Chief Fury's orders to keep you here by any means necessary are to prevent you from trying anything."

I'll electrocute you, then watch "Super Nanny" while you drool on the floor!

Tony: "..."

Evening, New York branch.

Nick Fury looked at Hill with some surprise:

"You mean, after searching all the registration records in New York, no child matching the appearance of a wizard has been found?"

"Yes, unless she's an illegal immigrant, we shouldn't be unable to find her information, but that possibility is very small!"

Hill reported.

The illegal immigrants are mostly Mexicans and foreigners, but the shaman's appearance is clearly American, or more British, and judging from his behavior, he doesn't seem to be an illegal immigrant.

Fury nodded, clearly agreeing with Hill's assessment.

"What did you learn from this night's observations?"

It turns out that although the main purpose of this trip was to invite wizards for help, Nick also secretly told Hill to pay close attention to the wizards' every move and gather information about them from the smallest details.

Hill organized his thoughts and replied:

"Overall, there aren't any major problems, except that we don't yet know exactly how many strange spells she's mastered. But there's one thing I just can't figure out!"

"Which point?"

Nick raised an eyebrow.

Hill continued:

"On the transport plane, Coulson asked the wizard why he always wore a hat and mask. The wizard replied that the mask, hat, and his wizard robe were all very important magical items that could help him cast spells and assist in battle."

"Her wizard robes can indeed stop bullets, and even withstand armor-piercing rounds from sniper rifles, so it makes sense that her hat and mask have other functions!"

Fury nodded.

"But Chief, if her hat and mask were really that important, why didn't she go and get them when the store was hit by armor-piercing bullets, but instead waited until after the battle to go back and get them?"

Perhaps she was too angry at the time and forgot, but the wizard didn't seem like the kind of person who was easily provoked!

Hill voiced his biggest question.

Fury quickly understood Hill's underlying meaning:

"You mean, what the wizard revealed at the time might not have been her true appearance, which is why she continued to wear a mask afterward?"

"I just think it's possible. After all, her magic is amazing; maybe she can temporarily change her appearance, like our Static Electricity Veil!"

As Nick's most capable assistant, Hill naturally knew that S.H.I.E.L.D. had a special device called the Static Veil, which, when worn, could create a realistic virtual image on the face, allowing one to transform into anyone's appearance.

Wizards possess so many magical abilities, perhaps one of which can temporarily alter one's appearance.

Nick remained silent for a long while before speaking:

"If that's the case, then it's going to be difficult. Following this line of reasoning, the wizard's gender and age might not be real; they might be disguised with magic."

This makes it very difficult to ascertain her true identity!

However, he quickly realized that he couldn't reason in that way, otherwise there would be no result.

While a wizard's magic is indeed wondrous, it is also traceable. If he could truly transform anything, he wouldn't need to wear a mask all the time.

Moreover, based on the wizard's current behavior and various observations, regardless of whether the wizard is male or female, old or young, he meets the criteria for an avenger in his mind.

Instead of continuing to waste energy trying to uncover the wizard's true identity, which might lead to discovery and anger, it's better to avoid doing so.

Instead, spend more time with the wizards and use time to gain their trust. In time, the wizards will naturally let go of their reservations and trust them.

Crucially, through the potion and various spells that saved Tony, Fury's regard for wizards has risen to a new level.

If you really anger the wizard, it will be difficult to ask him for help in the next similar situation.

"Alright, let's put the investigation into the wizard's true identity on hold for now!"

"Yes, Chief, there's one more thing I need to report to you!"

Hill nodded, then took out another document and handed it to Nick Fury.

Nick took the document, which contained recent information about monitoring Dr. Banner.

However, one of them caught his attention.

Dr. Banner's suicide attempt in the Arctic failed, and the Hulk appeared and smashed a glacier. Shortly afterward, a Russian oil exploration team discovered what appeared to be a World War II-era warplane at the site of the collapsed glacier.

After comparing images with those of experts, it has been found that the fighter jet buried deep in the ice rink is extremely similar to the one piloted by Captain America.
