Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 155 The French Magic Street

Chapter 155 The French Magic Street (Third Update)

In fact, magic in the world of Harry Potter is far more complex than Jerry imagines.

A world that has developed from ancient times to the present and formed an entire wizarding society system, with a variety and quantity of magic that he could not even imagine.

Wizards from many different countries have their own unique magic, and many spells invented by wizards have not been made public.

Although this world is limited by the bloodline and magical power of wizards, and doesn't have many powerful spells, there are plenty of everyday magic and all sorts of strange and wonderful spells.

In contrast, the world of The Sorcerer's Apprentice doesn't have as many types of magic.

Because in the world of Harry Potter, wizards rely on the awakening of their bloodline. As long as one has wizarding blood, one can learn magic. Not only wizarding families, but even Muggle families can produce wizards with wizarding blood.

This has resulted in the number of wizards in the world actually being constantly increasing.

However, the world of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is different. To become a sorcerer, one must have aptitude. Only those with aptitude can learn magic; those without cannot.

Magic is mostly passed down from master to apprentice. Although the tradition is ancient, the number of magicians has always been very small.

This is still because some magicians have achieved immortality; otherwise, the number would be even smaller.

Therefore, in the world of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", magic places more emphasis on destructive power, and the number of spells is relatively small. This limited number of spells means that not many new spells are created, and everyone is practicing meditation in pursuit of longevity.

"The seventh floor, the Department of Magical Sports, includes the headquarters of the British and Irish Quidditch League, the official Gobstone Club, and the Office of the Patent for Comical Products."

The gate slammed shut, the elevator slowly rose, and the chains rattled. A moment later, a cold, indifferent woman's voice rang out from inside the elevator.

The elevator doors opened, revealing a chaotic corridor with various Quidditch team posters plastered haphazardly on the walls.

"Jerry Carmen, our team's new finder, let's welcome him!"

Inside a Quidditch training ground expanded by the Unseen Stretch Charm, Meyer introduced Jerry to a group of England Quidditch players who were also pulling suitcases.

However, the players clearly weren't very enthusiastic about Jerry's arrival, so the applause was sparse.

Jerry didn't seem to mind.

That's normal. Given the current situation, apart from the wizards at Hogwarts who have watched his matches, no one else would believe that he is that strong.

Meyer had obviously expected this, and didn't bother to explain further. He had already explained what needed to be explained, and simply gave Jerry an apologetic look.

Jerry shook his head slightly, indicating that he didn't care.

Next, Meyer introduced all the team members' names and the location of the court to Jerry. Jerry just smiled and nodded, without greeting him enthusiastically.

Although he understood, he didn't see the point in trying to please a group of people who were giving him attitude.

Anyway, he only participated in the English Quidditch tournament for Galleons, and didn't intend to have much interaction with his teammates there.

It's important to understand that the more friends you make and the wider your network, the more time you'll waste, because maintaining these friendships and connections requires time and effort.

For Jerry, it's enough to just get on good terms with Miles; there's no need to waste time on anyone else.

"Alright, now that everyone knows each other, let's go to the sixth floor together and then head to the French Ministry of Magic!"

"The sixth floor, the Department of Magical Transportation, includes the Floo Network Administration, the Flying Broomstick Management and Control Bureau, the Portkey Office, and the Apparition Testing Center."

A cold female voice rang out again inside the magical elevator, and Jerry and the Quidditch team arrived at the sixth floor of the Ministry of Magic.

Walking down the corridor to the Portkey office, a chubby wizard immediately stood up with a smile and complained to Meyer:

"Meyer, you're half an hour late for our appointment!"

"I had to go to Hogwarts to pick up our best Seeker, so I was a little delayed!"

Meyer smiled and stepped forward to shake hands with the wizard.

"Oh, so this is the Seeker who's been all over the news. My daughter raved about him when she came home for Christmas!"

The fat wizard glanced at Jerry, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

Then he turned around and went to get the door key he would be using this time.

"Mr. Greengrass, the head of the Portkey office, his daughter seems to be your colleague!"

Meyer explained to Jerry in a low voice.

Jerry's lips twitched slightly, because he had already figured out who the daughter of the door key office manager was.

It was Daphne Greengrass, his first-year classmate in Slytherin!

"Hold the door key together. It might be a little disorienting if it's your first time using a door key, but don't worry, don't be too afraid!"

After Mr. Greengrass took out an old boot and placed it on the table, Meyer gave Jerry a special instruction as he used the door key for the first time.

To avoid attracting the attention of Muggles, door keys are mostly made in the form of everyday items, and using a door key is usually accompanied by a strong feeling of dizziness.

This dizziness is much more severe than what Muggles call motion sickness.

Before the Hogwarts Express was built, young wizards used Portkeys to start school, but many young wizards would feel extremely nauseous and hysterical as a result, leading to the school hospital being overcrowded a few days before the start of each school term.

However, Jerry didn't feel much about it. His body was already close to exceeding human limits due to meditation, and he had also activated Superman mode.

Seeing that everyone had touched the old boots, Mr. Greengrass waved his wand, and everyone, including Jerry, instantly vanished from their spot.

Not long after experiencing a sensation similar to "a hook pulling hard from behind the belly button," Jerry escaped the spatial vortex and found himself in a room with a strong artistic style.

"Mr. Booth, hello. I'm a representative from the Sports Department of the French Ministry of Magic. I'll be taking you to the inn in Magic Town to rest!"

Inside the room, a tall French witch, speaking in broken English, addressed Meyer and the others who had suddenly appeared in the room.

"Okay, thank you for your help!"

Meyer was not surprised and bowed to the witch in a very gentlemanly manner.

And so, Jerry and the others followed the French witch, first registering in the lobby, and then arriving at a magic hotel on the French Magic Street through the fireplace.
