Chapter 165 A Holiday Invitation (Fourth Update)

"How great, I don't have to study anymore."

Ron breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Jerry and Hermione arrive; this period had been the most difficult for him.

"I hope we can all pass the exams and not have to repeat a grade!"

Harry said with some concern.

He didn't do very well in several exams, especially the Potions exam and the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam.

"Harry, cheer up. We'll find out how badly you did on the test in a week. There's no need to worry about it now."

Ron, on the other hand, was quite optimistic.

Jerry wanted to tell Harry that his worries were completely unnecessary, since he had Hogwarts Headmaster Dumbledore standing behind him, and how could he possibly let Harry repeat a year?

"What are your plans for the holiday?"

Hermione pulled Jerry to sit down next to her.

"No, you know my situation. I'll probably be locked in my room most of the time!"

Harry sighed.

The thought of his aunt's family gave him a headache; he didn't even want to go back. He wished he could spend his summer vacation at Hogwarts like Christmas.

"How about you all come to my house to play sometime? All three of you come, and I'll send you messages one by one by owl!"

At that moment, Ron suddenly spoke up and invited him.

"That's a good idea!"

Hermione and Harry's eyes lit up simultaneously; they were very interested in the Burrow that Ron often talked about.

It's hard to imagine how interesting it would be to live in a wizard's family, in a house filled with magic.

"I'm afraid I can't. I might be going to train with the English Quidditch team during the summer vacation!"

Jerry smiled and declined the invitation.

He naturally didn't need to participate in the English Quidditch team's training, as that was arranged before the contract was signed. Moreover, he had asked Meyer via owl a few days ago, and there wouldn't be any matches in the near future.

National Quidditch matches are played very infrequently, only two or three times a year; most of the time is spent in training.

The exam results came out in the second week of June.

Jerry unsurprisingly topped the class with the highest score, while Hermione came in second.

Actually, Hermione and Jerry both got the same score on the written test, both full marks. However, in the practical test, Jerry scored significantly higher than Hermione, so Jerry's total score was far ahead of Hermione's.

The year-end banquet was held on the last night of the second week.

The entire Great Hall was decorated in Slytherin's green and silver colors to celebrate Slytherin's seventh consecutive House Cup victory.

Quirrell is dead, and Voldemort has fled back to the forest where he hid for many years. Many things have changed, and the Harry, Harry, and Voldemort trio's adventure up the fourth floor to earn Gryffindor points is no longer possible.

So, apart from eating and drinking and Dumbledore saying a few words, nothing much changed at the entire year-end banquet.

With the year-end banquet over, the holiday officially begins.

During the two-and-a-half-month summer vacation, all the young wizards would leave Hogwarts. Therefore, early the next morning, you could see young wizards dragging their suitcases and running around the castle.

After finishing their last breakfast in the Great Hall, the young wizards all arrived at Hogsmeade Station before nine o'clock and boarded the Hogwarts Express bound for London.

The train passed through forests and mountains, through Muggle towns, and finally stopped at Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station in London at three o'clock in the afternoon.

The young wizards also took off their wizard robes and put on jackets and short-sleeved shirts.

After getting off the train, Jerry, Hermione, and the other young wizards lined up behind the wall that led to the normal station.

To prevent a sudden influx of children from attracting the attention of Muggles, a withered old guard stood at the wall, allowing only two or three young wizards to pass at a time.

After leaving Station 9¾ and arriving at the entrance of King's Cross Station, Jerry once again sees Hermione's parents, the Grangers.

He also met Ron's parents, the Weasleys, and the family of his annoying aunt and uncle that Harry had mentioned.
