Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 169 The Three-Man Group of Old Bridge Town

Chapter 169 The Trio of Old Bridge Town (Third Update)

An hour later, in Old Bridge Town.

The S.H.I.E.L.D. motorcade stopped in front of a house with the address 1001.

"Miss Wizard, please sit in the car for a while. We need to get out and take care of some things. We'll be quick!"

Coulson greeted Jerry.

Jerry looked at the magic book in his hand that specifically explained the Unseen Stretch Spell, and waved to Coulson to indicate that he didn't need to worry about him.

The main purpose of this trip to Old Bridge Town is to investigate through the local police system whether anything strange has happened recently, or whether any strange people have appeared.

Secondly, they also wanted to take all the relevant atmospheric data records from before and after the appearance of Thor's hammer from the home of a meteorology professor here, to see if they could find any relevant clues.

Jerry's role was to provide magical assistance if they found any suspicious individuals.

Jerry didn't have any objections to this. He came to New Mexico to see if anything would happen after Thor's hammer appeared, so he could earn some little red stars.

In exchange, he asked S.H.I.E.L.D. to help him repair and reassemble those robot soldiers.

So, he can just continue his research on magic when he has free time.

"Hey, you can't do this! You're violating my rights! I'm going to sue you!"

Not long after Coulson got out of the car, an angry shout came from outside. Jerry curiously rolled down the window to look.

Over there, Coulson was directing S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to move equipment from the house into a large van behind it, while next to him, an old man and two girls in their twenties looked furious.

It turns out that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s visit to the professor's home to collect equipment and records was not pre-arranged, but rather forced upon him.

"As it turns out, rules are often made by the strong to constrain the weak!"

Jerry sneered at the sight.

This country's declaration that "private property is sacred and inviolable" is nothing more than a slogan in the face of real rights and capital.

Today they can confiscate your experimental equipment and research notes for national security reasons, and tomorrow they can put you in jail for the same reason. That's why Jerry has never trusted S.H.I.E.L.D.

While S.H.I.E.L.D.'s actions may not seem wrong from a national security perspective, from the perspective of the three victims, who can they turn to for justice when their hard-earned research results are forcibly taken away?

For example, if S.H.I.E.L.D. dared to ask him to hand over everything related to magic from a national security perspective, would he be willing?

Of course not, he would only use the Killing Curse to send them all to hell!

Oh, it's not good to use the Killing Curse now, it's too mentally taxing. So I'll use the Divine Sword Shadowless Curse and the Particle Cannon, since the effects are the same anyway.

"Miss Jane Foster, and Professor Eric Sullivan, I'm so sorry, all I can say is that we are good people, and we apologize!"

Seeing Jane's anger and Professor Eric and Daisy, who were pulling her along, Coulson apologetically handed her a bank card that was enough to buy all their equipment.

"Fuck!"

An enraged Jane slapped the bank card away and stepped forward to give Coulson a good beating, but was pulled back by Professor Eric and Daisy behind her.

"Calm down, calm down, Jane, we can't afford to mess with them!"

Professor Eric knew a bit about S.H.I.E.L.D. and knew that the best course of action was to swallow his anger and prioritize safety.

Just then, a voice tinged with dissatisfaction suddenly came from the front:

"I say, Mr. Coulson, is this how you 'take' things? Is this the standard operating procedure of S.H.I.E.L.D.?"

Everyone turned to look, and a little girl dressed in a wizard's robe stepped out of the black car in front.

It was Jerry who used the Transfiguration Charm to transform into Hermione.

Jerry wouldn't normally get involved in such trivial matters; that's how S.H.I.E.L.D., or any relevant department in the country, generally operates.

As long as it doesn't involve his interests, Jerry doesn't have time to meddle in other people's business, and he doesn't get any Little Red Stars for that.

However, when he heard the names Jane Foster and Eric Shavig, he suddenly remembered that Thor's girlfriend in the first Avengers movie was named Jane Foster.

And Professor Erik Sullivan is the same professor who helped S.H.I.E.L.D. research the Space Stone at the very beginning of the Avengers. He was later controlled by Loki with his Mind Scepter and had a wormhole opened on the roof of Stark Tower, letting in the Chitauri army.

That's why he closed the magic book and got out of the car.

"Miss Wizard, their weather data may have recorded the appearance of Thor's hammer, which will be very helpful for the base researchers' next steps!"

Coulson explained helplessly.

He didn't actually want to do something that resembled robbery, but special circumstances definitely require special treatment.

"You see, that's why I refused when Chief Fury invited me to join. Because you all always think you're right, but nobody is always right!"

Jerry walked up to Coulson, his tone now laced with sarcasm.

Upon hearing this, Coulson touched his hair with some difficulty. Director Fury had instructed him to try to lower the wizards' guard against S.H.I.E.L.D. through this cooperation.

But now, it seems that if they continue, it will only make the wizards have a worse impression of them.

Seeing Coulson hesitate, Jerry didn't press the issue too hard but instead suggested:

"Actually, I think since these three are all very knowledgeable in meteorology, why not abandon this barbaric approach and invite them to help in a friendly and peaceful way? I believe they would be willing to provide some assistance, and this would also be more efficient!"

What do you all think?

After saying that, Jerry winked at Jane and the other two.

The three of them immediately understood and quickly said:

"Of course, as long as you return our equipment and our research notes, we are willing to provide some technical assistance!"

"See, don't be so autocratic in your actions; cooperation leads to a win-win situation!"

Jerry turned to look at Coulson again and whispered:

"Sigh, someone's handsome hair might just disappear one day when they wake up!"

"Alright, but you have to promise to keep this research confidential afterward, or I might have to invite you to S.H.I.E.L.D. for coffee!"

Coulson finally agreed to Jerry's suggestion, then helplessly touched his handsome side-swept hair:

"I don't want to end up with a nickname like 'Braised Egg' like Chief Fury. After this is all over, I'm going to see a cello performance!"

"Very good!"

Upon hearing that Coulson was genuinely willing to return their equipment and notes, Jane and the other two's expressions immediately brightened.
