Chapter 179 Indestructible

Chapter 179 Unbreakable (First Update)

"This is trouble! Coulson said a huge humanoid armored vehicle is heading this way, possibly for Thor!"

Just then, Hawkeye Barton led a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in, their faces serious.

"Oh no, that's the Destroyer Armor of the Father God!"

Upon hearing Hawkeye's description, Thor immediately thought of Odin's Destroyer armor.

"The Destroyer Armor is made of metal materials from the Celestial Palace Uru. Except for a very few artifacts of the same level, it is almost impossible to be destroyed by force. It was the armor worn by the Father God when he conquered the Nine Realms."

"Loki must have taken advantage of the Father's slumber to remotely control the Destroyer armor guarding the vault with the Spear of Eternity! Everyone in the town must evacuate immediately!"

"I'm afraid it's too late!"

Jerry arrived at the door and looked at the mushroom cloud rising continuously outside the town, which was being attacked by the energy of the Destroyer Armor.

"Guys, we'll hold it off, you guys evacuate the crowd!"

Thor waved to the Warriors Three and Sif, then spoke to Jerry, Barton, and the others.

Seeing Thor grab the frying pan from the stove, ready to lead his four best buddies to fight the Destroyer, Jerry rolled his eyes and quickly stepped forward to stop him:

"Your seal is only slightly broken, yet you're only slightly stronger than an ordinary person. Going up there would be suicide, and besides, it's too inefficient!"

"What should we do? We can't let this peaceful town be destroyed because of me!"

Thor became a little impatient.

Jerry pulled out his flying broomstick, mounted it, and stretched out his hand to Thor:

"It's simple. You know its target is you, so as long as you're not in town, it naturally won't come this way!"

"Good idea, but can your broom withstand my weight?"

Thor looked at his own size, then at Jerry's Nimbus 2000, and a look of distrust crossed his face.

"That's true, after all, brooms are so short!"

Jerry nodded in agreement. It was indeed a bit crowded for two people to ride a flying broomstick, especially since Thor was so big.

So he pointed his wand at Thor:

"Yugadimurleviosa!"

Solton immediately floated up like a feather.

"That's good. I'll lead Mr. Thor to lure the Destroyer to a farther place first, then you can come over and see if you can work together to take it down!"

Jerry grabbed Thor's coat and launched him into the air.

"Okay, okay!"

Looking at the Thor that was fluttering in the wind in Jerry's hand, everyone in the room nodded mechanically.

Just then, several black S.H.I.E.L.D. cars screeched to a halt at the entrance. It was Coulson leading his agents, having escaped the Destroyer's pursuit, and arriving at the scene.

"Where is Mr. Saul?"

"There it is!"

Hawkeye Barton pointed in the direction Jerry had taken Thor away in the air.

"Hey Loki, Thor's here! Look, your brother's here, right here!"

A hundred meters from the town, Jerry flew past the Destroyer armor on his flying broom, waving Thor, who was levitated, and shouting loudly in the direction of the Destroyer.

Once the Destroyer had a clear look at Thor, it unleashed a powerful burst of destructive energy, allowing Jerry to narrowly escape with Thor and fly away from the town.

Meanwhile, the Destroyer, under Loki's remote control, turned around and gave chase at full speed.

"I, the mighty Thor, am making a fool of myself!"

Being tossed around like a kite by Jerry, Thor felt that he had completely lost his dignity as the God of Thunder.

However, given the Destroyer chasing behind and the occasional bursts of destructive energy, he had no choice but to give up and prioritize survival. In fact, this did lure the Destroyer away.

In the past, even if Thor had lost his divine powers, he would never have retreated like this, especially being dragged away to escape in such a humiliating manner.

However, after experiencing this series of events, his mindset has changed. While dignity and face are important, the lives of the townspeople are even more important.

"This will do!"

Seeing that he was about far enough away from the town, Jerry made a sharp turn, narrowly dodging the Destroyer's attack, and turned to face the Destroyer head-on.

Running away is definitely not the solution. The Destroyer Armor's energy is like a bottomless pit, unleashing energy waves that look incredibly damaging. Sooner or later, he and Thor will be brought down.

"The fire dragon descends!"

Jerry waved his wand, and a giant fire dragon over twenty meters long appeared out of thin air, charging towards the Destroyer.

"boom!"

With a deafening roar, the Destroyer was completely hit by the fire dragon.

Unfortunately, apart from taking a step back, it was completely unharmed!

"Avada Kedavra! Unfathomable Arrow! Air Cannon! Particle Cannon! Shatter to pieces!..."

Jerry then unleashed a series of offensive spells, all of which hit their mark, but none of them had any effect.

"Is it really as indestructible as Thor claims?"

Raising his broom to a high position, Jerry deftly dodged the Destroyer's massive, man-sized punch and asked Thor:

"Does this Destroyer have any weaknesses?"

Thor replied without hesitation:

"No, unless you use my Mjolnir or the Spear of Eternity, you simply cannot harm its body!"

After he finished speaking, he thought for a moment and then added:

"However, now it's not Father God personally controlling it, but Loki controlling it remotely. Its movements will be sluggish, and it can't fly!"

"Slow-moving, unable to fly?"

Upon hearing this, Jerry's heart stirred. Indeed, so far, the Destroyer seemed to have never dodged any of his attacks. Perhaps it wasn't that it disdained to dodge, but rather that it simply couldn't dodge them.

If Jerry were to fly away with Thor right now, the Destroyer probably wouldn't be able to catch up. But given Loki's intellect, he would definitely think of having the Destroyer attack ordinary towns to force Thor to show himself.

Therefore, unless absolutely necessary, we should try our best to find a way to deal with this guy.

"I've got it! We can try this: fuchsia!"

Pulling Thor aside to dodge the destructive energy attack, Jerry swung his wand once more.

This time, the curse finally worked quite well.

The Destroyer's over seven-meter-tall metal body was suspended upside down in mid-air under the influence of Jerry's spell.

Through continuous and diligent research and study, Jerry's magical abilities have become much stronger than before. Even though the Destroyer is seven or eight meters tall and quite heavy, it can still be hung upside down by his Upside-Down Bell Curse.

The Destroyer is indeed indestructible, but since it cannot destroy your body, it will strip you of your mobility, thus rendering you unable to pose any threat.

Seeing the Destroyer hanging upside down in mid-air, unable to move, Jerry finally brought Thor down.

However, not long after they landed, the Destroyer's entire body suddenly changed, transforming from a humanoid shape into a sphere.

Then, when it returns to human form, it is no longer upside down, but in a normal position with its head up and feet down.
