Chapter 222 Magic Robots vs. the Basilisk

Chapter 222 Magic Robots vs. the Basilisk (First Update)

"Turn it off, I'm going back!"

With trembling hands, Jerry wrote a line in the diary and then stuck it to the dragon head.

Voldemort knew that Jerry was currently in a state of fear and it was not appropriate to further provoke him, so he hissed and closed the entrance to the secret room.

As the entrance to the secret room closed, Jerry secretly put the yellow ball he had just taken out into his pocket.

Then he slammed the diary shut and returned to the Slytherin dormitory.

Jerry tossed the diary into an empty spatial bag, leaving a phantom clone lying on the bed, while his main body returned to the spatial box to begin his daily meditation practice.

We definitely have to go into the secret room, but not today, and we can't bring the diary in.

The following midnight.

Jerry once again stealthily left the Slytherin dormitory and went to the girls' washroom on the second floor.

Just like yesterday, he first used magic to freeze Mommy before taking out a small red ball and placing it on the dragon head engraved with a small snake.

As magic was channeled in, the ball emitted a hissing sound, exactly the same as the hissing sound the diary made when it opened the entrance to the secret room yesterday.

It turns out that back in the French magic street, Jerry bought a magical device that could record audio from a magic shop there.

Yesterday, he secretly recorded Voldemort's Parseltongue "Open the door" with a red ball and "Close the door" with a yellow ball, so that he could enter the secret room by himself even without the diary.

In fact, with his memory, he could easily remember Voldemort's two Parseltongue phrases, but he wasn't sure if he could imitate them; he wasn't good at ventriloquism.

He was also worried that overly technological things, like voice recorders, might become ineffective due to the influence of Hogwarts Castle.

As the red ball uttered its snake-like language, yesterday's water pipe tunnel reappeared.

Jerry leaped into the water pipe tunnel and slid down to the stone tunnel from yesterday. Instead of proceeding immediately, he released a robot soldier.

"How are you, Number One? Are you able to move around normally?"

Number One flapped its steel wings, sensed its own steel body, and reported to Jerry:

"Master, you can move normally, there's no problem!"

Upon hearing this, Jerry's face immediately broke into a knowing smile.

Within the area covered by Hogwarts Castle, the four Grand Masters have cast special magic upon it, which can not only restrict the Apparition Charm but also disable most Muggle items.

However, Jerry considered that in the original story, Ron's flying magical car, modified by Arthur, could still drive normally after landing within the castle grounds.

Therefore, he guessed that as long as it has been modified by magic, it will no longer be affected even if the main body is a Muggle item.

His twelve robot soldiers were all enchanted with spirit-awakening spells, and their wings and greatswords were also magically modified items, so they would most likely be able to function normally inside Hogwarts Castle.

And as it turned out, he was right.

Leading the robot soldier to the wall at the end of the tunnel, he didn't immediately use the red ball to open the stone wall and go inside. Instead, he started taking out boxes and emptying things out.

First, there were the remaining eleven robot soldiers, then a cage with at least dozens of large roosters, and finally a plastic model of a giant dragon over twenty meters long.

Jerry had previously searched carefully for information about the Basilisk in the library books.

It is a magical creature bred by dark wizards, created by hatching an egg under a toad using evil dark magic. The longer it lives, the more powerful it becomes.

Basilisks are classified as Class 1 dangerous creatures and are strictly prohibited from being bred by the Ministry of Magic. Basilisks that reach a certain age are even more dangerous than dragons.

If it so desires, the basilisk can instantly kill any person or animal that makes eye contact with it, and even looking into a mirror will petrify it.

Moreover, the basilisk's skin is covered with hard scales, which not only provide extremely strong physical defense but also deflect most spells.

It possesses extremely high physical and magical resistance.

Its fangs are so poisonous that they can even destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Therefore, if you want to fight the basilisk, you must close your eyes to avoid being killed by its abilities.

Now, behind this stone wall is a basilisk, hatched by Slytherin, one of the four great masters of Hogwarts, and it has lived for a thousand years.

His power is so great that, unless it is a wizard of Dumbledore's caliber, other wizards would almost be unable to defeat him in a one-on-one fight.

However, the basilisk also has a fatal weakness: the crowing of a rooster. Basilisks that are not strong enough may be killed by the crowing of a rooster.

Even a serpent monster that has lived for a thousand years will have its strength greatly reduced by the crowing of a rooster.

"Mimetic dragon transformation!"

Using the Dragon Transformation Spell, Jerry transformed the plastic dragon into a magical dragon. He then separated a sliver of his consciousness to control his main body, took out a small red ball, and used Parseltongue to open the stone wall leading to the secret chamber.

As the stone wall opened, the magical dragon charged in first, followed by twelve robot soldiers, and finally fifty crowing roosters.

After he had driven all the roosters into the secret chamber, he took out the small yellow ball and decisively closed the stone wall.

Go fight the basilisk? He's not that stupid!

His magic was basically useless against the basilisk. His physical abilities were beyond those of an average human, and he probably couldn't withstand even a flick of the basilisk's tail. Making eye contact with the basilisk would be an instant death. What was he even doing going in?

This is perfect. Close the stone wall, and remotely control the magic dragon to work with the twelve robot soldiers to gang up on the serpent monster. Isn't that wonderful?

Anyway, the magic dragon is magic, and it's not afraid to meet the serpent's gaze. The twelve robot soldiers are just made of steel, and the weak rooster is still the serpent's nemesis.

Close your eyes and focus your attention on the vision of the magical dragon.

What came into view was a long, dimly lit, enormous room, which appeared to be nearly fifty meters high. On both sides were many stone pillars carved with coiled and intertwined snakes, which towered up and supported the ceiling that seemed to melt into the darkness above.

Directly in front of you is a huge statue, as tall as the room, pressed against the dark wall behind it.

The statue has an old, monkey-like face, a sparse, long beard that almost reaches the hem of a wizard's robe carved from stone, and two large, gray feet standing on the smooth floor of the room.

Jerry knew that it was Slater, one of the four great masters, and that the basilisk was sleeping inside the statue.

As if sensing the invasion of the secret chamber, the statue's face began to move, its mouth opening wider and wider until it transformed into a huge black hole.

A terrifying serpent monster, over twenty meters long, slowly crawled out of the dark hole.

"Let's get it!"

At Jerry's command, the magical dragon charged forward and unleashed a burst of magical flames, while the twelve robot soldiers quickly flapped their steel wings and took to the air, opening their machine guns and beginning a frenzied barrage of fire at the basilisk.
