Chapter 318 Conversation in the Principal's Office (Third Update)

"Professor, are you going to ask me about what happened on the train?"

After Hermione left, Jerry smiled and asked Snape.

Snape, unusually, managed a faint smile—it was hard to tell if it could even be called a smile—as he comforted Jerry:

"Jerry, you're very smart, and you don't need to worry about anything. Just give Headmaster Dumbledore a truthful report of what happened on the train!"

"Mr. Carmen, I just heard some incredible things from the two student council presidents, and I would like to verify them with you personally."

Dumbledore, dressed in a magnificent dark green robe adorned with stars and the moon, spoke to Jerry with a kind expression.

"Of course, Headmaster Dumbledore!"

Jerry had long anticipated that Dumbledore might want to speak with him.

It's important to understand that the strength he displayed on the train far surpassed that of a normal wizard, and could even have an impact on the entire wizarding world in the future. How could Dumbledore not care?

And so, Jerry repeated the same explanation he had given Hermione and the others on the train to the three of them.

"So, Mr. Carmen, you learned the Guardian Spell in Greece, and the Guardian Spell you summoned was a giant? Could you show us now?"

Dumbledore's tone was noticeably more excited.

Seeing the expectant looks in Dumbledore, Snape, and McGonagall's eyes, Jerry picked up his wand and pointed:

"Protect the Gods!"

Jerry summoned a two-meter-tall guardian spirit inside the office.

"Because the guardian spirit is too large to fit here, I'm summoning my third form, which I've completed researching. It's a normal human form, which has less power but is more agile and convenient."

After summoning the Guardian, Jerry took the opportunity to explain the principle behind his development of the third form of the Guardian.

Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape exchanged bewildered glances.

Although it's hard to believe, the facts are undeniable: Jerry really did learn the Patronus Charm, and even improved upon it. His magical talent is simply amazing.

However, it is only because his guardian deity is a giant that he needs to be improved; ordinary people's guardian deities do not need to be improved.

After Dumbledore confirmed that Jerry's Patronus was a giant, his attitude became much more lenient than before.

If Dumbledore had been relatively mild-mannered towards Jerry before, Jerry could still sense some wariness from him, but now that wariness had almost completely disappeared.

Jerry withdrew his Patronus, politely and elegantly said goodnight to Dumbledore, Snape, and Professor McGonagall, before turning and leaving the Headmaster's office.

"Headmaster Dumbledore, I've said it before, he's not the Dark Lord. He's more like me, only much braver. I believe he will become a great wizard from Slytherin in the future!"

After Jerry left, Snape turned to look at Dumbledore, his tone tinged with pride.

"I agree with Professor Snape on this point. Mr. Carmen is indeed a very good wizard. I knew that when I first met him at the orphanage."

However, he never expected the Sorting Hat to sort him into Slytherin; he was actually more suited to Gryffindor.

Professor McGonagall couldn't help but sigh.

Snape twitched his lips when he heard Professor McGonagall's words, but he didn't refute them, since Professor McGonagall was speaking up for Jerry.

However, deep down he truly felt that Jerry had absolutely no connection to Gryffindor. Jerry was a pure Slytherin, as pure as could be. He had already understood this when he persuaded Jerry to join Slytherin Quidditch as the Seeker in their first year.

"Alright, Severus, I admit I might have had a slight prejudice against him before, but now I share your opinion, and I hope you can spend more time guiding him properly. He might just be one of the pillars of the wizarding world in the future!"

From the moment Jerry became famous at school, Dumbledore also took notice of him. Born into an orphanage, he entered Slytherin House, excelled academically, and was admired by wizards of his own age and even beyond, receiving unanimous praise from all the professors.

The signs that Jerry has shown in the past two years are so similar to those of Voldemort, whom he personally brought back to Hogwarts from the orphanage. Jerry has even performed better than Voldemort back then.

At least during his school years, Voldemort didn't have any particularly outstanding performance in Quidditch.

So, how could he not be wary?

What if Hogwarts breeds a second Voldemort, a second Dark Lord?

But now, he has dispelled most of his concerns.

Because Jerry summoned a guardian spirit!

Meanwhile, Jerry, walking down the corridors of Hogwarts, also had a smile on his face. He knew that as long as he revealed his Patronus, Dumbledore would definitely change his opinion of him.

Jerry learned the Patronus Charm during summer vacation, which allows him to summon a giant Patronus, indicating that Jerry is at least kind now.
