Chapter 339 The Deal with Sirius

Chapter 339 The Deal with Sirius (Third Update)

"They really added a lot of magic!"

In Grimmauld Place, Jerry looked at House No. 12, which was shrouded in a series of secret spells, including the Unpaintable Charm and the Muggle Shield Charm, and couldn't help but sigh.

Fortunately, at this time, the Black family home had not yet become the base of the Order of the Phoenix, nor had it been subjected to the Faithful Charm by Dumbledore.

Therefore, he can still find this place based on the address in his memories from his previous life.

The purpose of this trip to the Black family home was simple: to retrieve the Horcrux hidden inside—Salazar Slytherin's locket.

If he remembered correctly, Voldemort borrowed Kreacher from Regulus and used him to hide the Horcrux locket in a cave by the sea near the orphanage.

After using him, he left alone, leaving Kreacher, who knew his secret, in the cave to feed the horde of undead he had created.

Unexpectedly, the house-elf was unaffected by the Anti-Apparition Charm and teleported directly back to Black's ancestral home, where he told his master Regulus what had happened.

After learning Voldemort's true identity, Regulus had Kreacher take him back to the cave. Regulus sacrificed his life to break Voldemort's trap, switched the locket, and then had Kreacher leave with the locket and find a way to destroy it.

Unfortunately, Voldemort's Horcruxes and Slytherin's locket were not something a house-elf could destroy, so they remained in the ancestral home.

Using illusion magic to change his appearance and disguise himself as a middle-aged wizard in his forties, Jerry walked toward the dilapidated door of house number twelve.

Perhaps because no one has lived here for a long time, the black paint on the door has peeled off and is covered with scratches.

He picked up the silver door knocker that looked like a giant snake and knocked on it. Soon, a middle-aged wizard who was as thin as a skeleton appeared from behind the door.

"Excuse me, wizard, who are you looking for?"

Sirius looked at the unfamiliar middle-aged wizard in front of him and asked with a puzzled expression.

Jerry took off his hat and replied with a smile:

"I'm looking for you, Mr. Sirius Black!"

On the sofa in the living room on the first floor, Sirius frowned as he looked at the wizard who called himself "J":

"You said you want to take something from my house?"

"It's not taking, it's exchanging, and you'll be absolutely satisfied!"

Jerry smiled calmly.

Sirius frowned even more deeply:

"Excuse me, I don't need to exchange anything with you. You can leave now!"

A strange wizard suddenly appeared and said he wanted to exchange things from his house, which made him feel a little strange.

Having inherited a long and substantial legacy from the Black family, Sirius Black certainly wasn't short of Galleons, so he naturally had no interest in this bizarre exchange.

Hearing Sirius's decisive refusal, Jerry was not discouraged at all. Instead, he confidently replied:

"How about I show you the items we want to exchange, and then you can decide. If you still insist after I've seen them, then I'll leave immediately."

"Okay, then take it out and have a look!"

Sirius hesitated for a moment, but finally agreed.

Jerry took out the box, then waved his hand, and a fat man, bound by ropes and unconscious, appeared on the living room floor.

When Sirius saw the figure on the floor, his pupils contracted instantly, and he gasped and stood up immediately.

"Peter Pettigrew!"

But he quickly realized what was happening, swiftly drew his wand from his waist, pointed it at Jerry, and shouted:

"Who exactly are you?"

Just two days ago, all the Death Eaters in Azkaban were rescued, and now a strange wizard has come to him with the rescued Pettigrew. It's hard for him not to suspect the other party's true identity.

"Mr. Black, please put down your wand. I mean no harm; I simply want to make a deal with you!"

Jerry remained seated on the sofa, still smiling.

Sirius Black narrowed his eyes, unmoved, and replied:

"That probably won't work. You need to tell me why Little Pettigrew is in your hands, or I can take you to the Ministry of Magic and have the Aurors there question you about what's going on."

"I see. Well then, I apologize for the inconvenience, Shadow!"

As soon as Jerry finished speaking, the shadow beneath Sirius suddenly came to life, spreading up his body. First, it knocked the wand out of his hand when he wasn't paying attention, and then it turned into a black rope, binding him tightly.

Given Sirius's status as Harry's godfather, he originally intended to avoid taking action and try to retrieve the locket politely and amicably.

But since that's impossible, we have no choice but to resort to force.

"Armor for protection!"

Just as Jerry was about to head upstairs to find Slytherin's locket, a magical beam of light suddenly shot towards him from the kitchen, but he quickly blocked it with his Ironclad Charm.

"I almost forgot, there's also a house-elf."

Turning his head, he saw that the one attacking him was a house-elf that looked quite old.

Although Kreacher dislikes his current owner Sirius, his deep-seated belief in keeping Pokémon compels him to intervene and save his master.

"film!"

Jerry launched another shadow magic attack.

However, this time Kreacher dodged it with an Apparition.

Most house-elves can cast spells silently without a wand, and their casting speed is not slow. A house-elf like Kreacher, at his age, would naturally have no problem with it.

"They'll all be petrified!"

Seeing Kreacher disappear, Jerry didn't panic. Instead, he carefully sensed the surroundings, then waved his hand, shooting a magical ray of light towards the spot next to Sirius.

A spatial fluctuation flashed by, and Kreacher, who had just appeared and hadn't even had a chance to teleport away with Sirius, was hit squarely by Jerry's pre-anticipated magic and frozen in place.

Having studied spatial magic for so long, Jerry was naturally very familiar with spatial fluctuations. As soon as Kreacher disappeared, he immediately sensed spatial fluctuations appearing next to Sirius.

"What exactly do you want to do?"

Seeing that Kreacher had also been defeated by Jerry, Sirius, who was bound by the shadow and unable to move, roared angrily.

"Don't worry, I really meant no harm. I'll explain to you after I get the items."

After freezing Kreacher, Jerry waved to Sirius and walked up the stairs to the second floor.

A moment later, he returned to the living room on the first floor with the Horcrux pendant box he had found in the glass cabinet on the second floor.

Sirius looked at the locket in Jerry's hand with a puzzled expression, clearly not recognizing it. Kreacher, on the other hand, looked terrified when he saw the locket.

"This is Salazar Slytherin's locket, one of Voldemort's Horcruxes. My purpose is to seal Voldemort's soul within the Horcrux and prevent him from rising from the dead!"

As Jerry explained to Sirius, he took out his Russian nesting dolls.
