Chapter 340, Part 335: Jerry's Reassurance (First Update)
"seal!"
Jerry forcibly extracted Voldemort's soul from the Slytherin locket, then opened the fourth layer of the Russian nesting doll and skillfully sealed it inside.
"Done!"
"What does Voldemort's Horcruxes mean? And what did you just do?"
Sirius was stunned to see Jerry pull out a terrifying black soul from his neglected keepsake box and forcefully stuff it into a Russian nesting doll.
Jerry put away the locket, picked up the Russian nesting doll, walked up to Sirius Black, and casually untied the restraints on him, saying:
"If you're interested in knowing, I can tell you, but I hope you understand that I mean no harm, so please don't try to attack me, although that will only be futile!"
"Okay, I won't attack you anymore!"
Sirius knew that the middle-aged wizard in front of him was probably far stronger than himself, otherwise he and Kercher wouldn't have been so easily subdued. Moreover, the other party had never shown any hostility towards him from beginning to end. So he nodded and sat back down on the sofa.
Seeing this, Jerry placed the Russian nesting dolls on the table and began to explain:
"Actually, this all started with Voldemort. In his quest for immortality, Voldemort created several Horcruxes. So, I invented a sealing technique that can seal Voldemort's soul, thus preventing him from ever being resurrected."
"So that means that was Slytherin's locket, and also Voldemort's Horcrux, and what you just sealed away was Voldemort's soul!"
After listening to Jerry's account, Sirius was a little confused.
He was shocked by Voldemort's terror and cruelty, that he would kill people to make Horcruxes, and he was also shocked by how powerful the wizard opposite him was, that he had invented a sealing spell to Voldemort.
And so far, four of Voldemort's souls have been sealed, and only two more are needed to completely seal Voldemort and thwart his resurrection plan.
Of course, this is on the premise that what the guy on the other end is saying is true, and not just making up a story.
Jerry, clearly noticing Sirius's confusion, continued:
"Actually, your house-elf Ketchri knows all this, after all, this locket was obtained by your brother at the cost of his life."
"What? What does this have to do with my brother?"
Sirius looked at Ketchum with surprise, then commanded:
"Tell me, what do you know?"
Jerry waved his hand, releasing the full-body binding spell from Ketchri's body.
As Kecheri thought of Regulus, the only one who had ever been kind to him and had even been willing to sacrifice himself rather than his master, tears of longing welled up in his eyes.
"Back then, the Dark Lord borrowed me from my master, and then..."
As Kercheri narrated, Sirius's expression changed continuously, finally culminating in a somewhat melancholic sigh:
"My foolish brother, I thought he was killed by Voldemort because he couldn't turn back and backed down at the last minute. I never expected it to be like this."
"Alright, that's how it is. I should be going now. Voldemort still has two Horcruxes left to seal. I need to seal them quickly to prevent any accidents!"
Having achieved his goal, Jerry put away the Russian nesting dolls and got up to leave.
"Do you need my help?"
Because of Kreacher's confirmation, Sirius was now basically convinced of Jerry's story to some extent.
Jerry shook his head:
"No need. I already know what the remaining two Horcruxes are and their locations. If things go smoothly, I can seal them all within the next two days."
"May I ask, were those Death Eaters from Azkaban taken away by you?"
After a moment's hesitation, Sirius asked the question that had been bothering him.
Jerry didn't deny it, but embellished his reply slightly:
"Yes, I took them all with me, including the Dementors. I don't think the Ministry of Magic is entirely trustworthy right now; there are some Death Eater remnants mixed in there."
I was afraid that these Death Eaters from Azkaban might cause some trouble in the future, so I took them all away.
Don't worry, they will never appear in this world again!
"It will not appear in this world!"
Sirius Black couldn't help but swallow hard when he heard those words, because his first thought was that all the Death Eaters had been killed by the enemy.
"Finally, may I ask how you learned these secrets? Of course, you don't have to answer if it's inconvenient for you to."
Although he was somewhat wary of Jerry's ruthlessness in killing those Death Eaters, to be honest, he also felt that the other party had done the right thing.
However, just to be on the safe side, he wanted to find out as much as possible so that he could report this important information to Dumbledore at Hogwarts after the other party left.
"There's nothing inconvenient about it, because I'm a prophet with an open third eye, and I'm born with a very powerful ability to predict the future, so I've glimpsed some answers from the long river of time."
I've always felt that what I'm doing now is my responsibility!
With a righteous and awe-inspiring demeanor, Jerry delivered his prepared lines and, before the other party could react, vanished from the spot in a flash.
After Jerry disappeared, Sirius stood there for a while before picking up Pettigrew from the ground, taking Kreacher with him, and grabbing a handful of Floo Powder to throw into the blazing furnace.
The red flames in the furnace also turned completely turquoise under the influence of Floo Powder.
"Hogwarts!"
With a loud shout, the two family members, who were raising a little elf, disappeared into the fireplace.
Normally, Hogwarts Castle keeps the Floo nets around the fireplaces closed to ensure the safety of the young wizards, except in special circumstances, such as when Fudge visited in person last time.
The reason Sirius Black's fireplace was connected to Hogwarts Castle was because he planned to spend Christmas with his godson Harry at the castle, so he specifically asked Dumbledore and Fudge to make the application.
Dumbledore readily agreed, and Fudge, feeling awkward about refusing because the Ministry of Magic had wronged Sirius for twelve years, temporarily opened the Floo Network for him.
"Sirius, there are still three days until Christmas, and you're here so early! Oh, and that's Little Pettigrew you're carrying!"
In the Hogwarts Headmaster's office, Dumbledore was sitting on the sofa knitting when he saw Sirius Black appear in the fireplace and Peter Pan in his hand, and he immediately showed a surprised expression.
He was the first to know about Azkaban's disappearance and the Death Eaters' rescue, because Fudge came to Hogwarts to seek his help immediately.
"Headmaster, I have something very important to tell you, it concerns Voldemort, Azkaban, and the Death Eaters!"
Sirius put down Pettigrew and said in a hurried tone.
Upon hearing that it was related to Voldemort, Dumbledore put down the half-finished sweater he was knitting and revealed a serious expression.
