Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard
Chapter 52 Doubt and Test
Chapter 52 Doubt and Test
"Flavoid!"
In the kitchen, Jerry secretly took out his wand and cast a Transfiguration spell on a glass of freshly poured milk, turning it into a cup of sweetened coffee.
According to the laws of transfiguration, although Elsa drinks coffee, it will turn into milk shortly after entering her stomach.
Wouldn't that perfectly solve the problem?
Sometimes, Jerry thinks that if it weren't for earning the little red star, even without becoming a superhero, he could legally make a fortune and reach the pinnacle of life simply by using the various magical spells he's learned.
For example, the Transfiguration Spell is a godsend for dieters.
Transform those unpalatable whole grains, boiled vegetables, and other diet foods into delicious and high-calorie hamburgers, fried chicken, cakes, ice cream, and meat dishes using a transformation spell; turn plain water into various fine wines and sugary drinks. How could anyone not lose weight with that?
Starting a weight loss company based on this would be a sure-fire way to make money.
However, the rebound might be quite severe later, but so what? You can always lose weight again if it rebounds.
Putting away his wand, picking up his coffee, and walking out of the kitchen, Jerry approached Elsa, who was sitting on the living room sofa, with a broad smile.
"Come on, brother, it's time to get up and drink... oh, pshaw! I mean, sister, you can get up and have your coffee now!"
Elsa took the coffee, took a delicious sip, and immediately broke into a happy smile.
That's how children are, or rather, that's how all people are: the more you try to avoid giving them something, the more they want it.
And the easier something is to obtain, the less you like it over time.
Coffee isn't necessarily better than milk.
But for Elsa, coffee was a rare treat, and she had plenty of milk in the fridge and drank it every morning, so she was already tired of it.
"You're still too young. You'll understand when you grow up how important it is to drink milk and get enough nutrition when you're young for your future health!"
Jerry shook his head, preparing to look at the magic book for a while longer.
Recently, he has been studying the book "Outwitting the Dark Arts" that he brought back from the Requirement House. It contains a lot of theories about dark magic, which can greatly help to enhance the power of dark magic spells such as the Divine Sword and the Upside-Down Bell Spell.
At nine o'clock in the evening, the family sat on the sofa watching Friends.
However, apart from Elsa, Jerry and Haas, although watching TV, were not paying attention to it.
Jerry was currently "refreshing" himself, summarizing some of the knowledge he had learned from the magic book during the day.
Haas, however, was still preoccupied with the sound of the young wizard's voice from that day.
Ever since that fire, he'd had a feeling that something was off.
It wasn't until he finished dealing with things and returned home that night that he suddenly realized why the little wizard's voice sounded so familiar.
Because it sounded almost exactly like his son Jerry's voice.
However, before children go through puberty, their voices will all sound somewhat similar, so this doesn't seem to prove anything.
Moreover, when he came back that day, he asked Elsa if Jerry had gone out alone that afternoon.
However, upon further reflection, he realized that Elsa's words could not always be completely trusted, since the little girl seemed to listen to her older brother Jerry more than he, her father.
The key point is that his son Jerry was indeed different from other children since he was a child, and the two were very similar in height and build, which made him suspicious again.
Actually, Haas's main concern was that if Jerry really was that wizard with magic, then going out to fight criminals every night would be far too dangerous.
Many criminals are armed; what if someone gets injured?
"Jerry, there's something very important I want to talk to you about!"
In the end, Haas decided it would be better to just ask directly.
"Is it something important?"
Jerry snapped out of his reverie about organizing magical knowledge, paused for a moment, then offered a comforting reassurance with a sudden realization:
"Dad, we know. Don't feel pressured. Elsa and I support you!"
"What? What do you know? What psychological pressure do I have? And what are you supporting me for?"
Hearing Jerry's answer, Has was filled with questions.
Jerry looked at Haas with a puzzled expression and asked curiously:
"Dad, didn't you want to tell Elsa and me about your plans to be with Teacher Belle?"
Has was startled upon hearing this, and his expression immediately turned panicked. This usually fearless police officer, who was known for his bravery in fighting criminals, even started to stutter as he spoke.
"No...no, how...how did you know about me and Belle being together? Actually, this...this matter..."
Ever since the school bus hijacking incident, Has has developed feelings for the brave and beautiful Ms. Belle, and Ms. Belle, because of Jerry, has started to look at Has differently.
The fact that Hass was able to raise such a righteous child as Jerry speaks volumes about his character.
Moreover, although Haas is almost forty, he maintains a good physique and exudes the charm of a mature man.
And so, the two of them got together and fell in love.
However, neither of them plans to tell Jerry and Elsa about this yet, mainly because they are worried that the two children will not be willing to accept a new member into the family.
As a primary school teacher, Belle has a good understanding of children's psychology.
However, Jerry now directly tells Haas that he and Elsa already know, which inevitably catches Haas off guard.
At this moment, he had completely forgotten about the question he was about to ask Jerry.
Seeing this, Jerry had an idea, and then patted Haas on the shoulder:
"Dad, Elsa and I saw you and Ms. Belle having coffee at the cafe this afternoon when we went to buy the wizard outfit."
Don't worry, we all like Ms. Belle very much and completely approve of you two being together!
After saying that, he got up and walked towards his room.
"It's nine o'clock, you see, I'm going to sleep!"
At this moment, Elsa also yawned and patted Haas on the shoulder in the same way:
"Dad, you promised to take my brother and me to the amusement park. Don't go back on your word again, or next time I see Ms. Belle, I'll tell her about you kissing Aunt Mary downstairs last Christmas!"
Haas: "."
Aunt Mary is a widow in her thirties living on the first floor. Has had a relationship with this widow for a while, without Jerry and Elsa knowing.
However, she later discovered that her partner didn't seem to like children, so she decisively broke up with him.
Seeing that Jerry and Elsa had gone back to their rooms to sleep, Haas scratched his head, then suddenly laughed:
"That seems like a good idea!"
However, he quickly realized that he hadn't had time to ask whether Jerry was the little wizard.
Haas was about to get up, but quickly sat back down.
He figured that even if Jerry was guilty, he probably wouldn't admit it, so he decided to sneak into Jerry's room that night to check.
