Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 695 Superstar

Chapter 695 Superstar (Second Update)

Steve is unlike any other superhero, most of whom have kind hearts and a willingness to sacrifice themselves to save others.

But not all superheroes can be so brave before they gain their powers.

Before the kidnapping, Tony was an annoying playboy, Stephen was an arrogant surgeon, and Banner was a scientist. Knowing they couldn't defeat the enemy, they wisely chose to run away.

They may also become discouraged and give up due to various problems, and develop mental illnesses, etc.

But Steve was different. Before becoming a superhero, he was a sickly man with a weak constitution. However, whenever he faced injustice, he would be the first to stand up, even if his opponents were several strong men he could never defeat.

And no matter how many times he was knocked down, he would get up again with his willpower until he was really beaten to death.

Even knowing he would die if a grenade was thrown in front of him, he would still rush forward and use his body to hold it down to prevent it from exploding and injuring others.

After being frozen for decades, he found that all his relatives and friends were gone, and his only lover had married someone else, grown old, or even died, yet he remained so strong.

So for Steve, Thanos's army in the sky was no different from the few thugs who blocked him in the alley that year; they were both invincible and had to be defeated.

No matter how many times he falls, as long as he lives, he will get up and fight the enemy.

This is what Jerry admires most about Steve. At least he can't do that. If it's not someone he has to protect, he'll choose to run away as soon as he can't beat the opponent, and then fight back when he's stronger.

Every superhero has their own strengths and weaknesses; there is no perfect person in this world.

Jerry's strengths might be that he never stops striving to become stronger, even when his power is already strong enough to face most dangers, and to allow happiness, joy, and the happiness of those he loves to enjoy all the good things in life.

The moment he reaches the level of a Godfather, as long as he doesn't mess around, he can completely stop and enjoy life.

But he is still trying to become stronger, collecting laws, creating his own small world, and wanting to break through to the single universe level, to the multiverse level, and even to the point where he can understand everything.

"Don't worry, I never fight a battle I'm not sure I can win. Just follow the plan and leave the rest to me."

Finally, Jerry stopped teasing everyone and made a very firm promise.

Among the current Avengers members, perhaps only Doctor Strange (Steve) and the Guardians of the Galaxy, who recently joined, truly understand just how powerful Jerry is now.

Because they witnessed Jerry take down Dormammu and Ego, two equally terrifying beings.

Hearing Jerry's assurance, everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief, and then turned their attention back to Thanos's fleet, which had stopped moving in the sky.

At this moment, on the massive Temple at the very center, a donut-shaped aircraft separated from its base and rapidly descended towards the location of Di Fan's collection building.

As the donut-shaped flying machine descended, everyone realized that the machine, which looked like an ant compared to an elephant, was actually much larger than it had appeared.

At least ten of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s largest space carriers combined might not be as big as that one donut-shaped spacecraft.

It is conceivable that the Temple, which already appears enormous to them, is actually much larger than they imagined.

After the donut-shaped flying machine landed, four figures slowly emerged from it.

The leader, needless to say, was Thanos, clad in golden Titan armor and wielding the Tyrant's Twin Blades. Behind him were three figures: Corvus Glaive, his wife Proxima Midnight.

As for the last one, the blue-clad alien woman in a white robe, Jerry didn't recognize her.

"Who is that?"

"She is a superstar with the ability to control minds, which is terrifying. She was sent by Thanos to the Kree Empire on a mission, but I didn't expect her to be called back now."

Seeing Jerry point to the blue-robed alien, Gamora explained with a somewhat serious expression.

Of Thanos's five most trusted lieutenants, she feared only two the most: Supergiant and Ebony Maw.

Although Black Dwarf is strong, he's just a big, clumsy guy and not much of a threat. Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, the couple, are also quite powerful, but she can manage to handle them on her own.

Only Superstar and Ebony Maw, one a mind controller and the other a telekinetic, give her almost no chance of winning.

"It seems Thanos has noticed something too!"

Upon hearing Gamora's explanation, Jerry immediately understood.

In the original storyline, Thanos never recalled the Supergiant because he didn't take Earth seriously without Odin and the Ancient One.

But the fact that he has summoned back a supergiant lurking in the Kree Empire simply for attacking the Void suggests that he was prepared for this attack.

Is it to guard against Di Fan, this cosmic elder?

Jerry thought it probably wasn't. Divan wasn't a combat-oriented cosmic elder, and Thanos wouldn't take him seriously. So who was he guarding against?

Clearly, he was protecting himself.

After Nebula was defeated by the Wizard and Star-Lord on Contrasia and Ronan, she disappeared without a trace. This sudden appearance of her saying that two Infinity Stones have appeared in the Void is bound to arouse Thanos's suspicion.

Although Nebula lied and said she had just escaped from the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thanos is no fool.

Therefore, just to be on the safe side, Thanos likely summoned all his fleets and subordinates to rule the Void together, to prevent any accidents during the acquisition of the Infinity Stones.

After all, Thanos is still unsure of Jerry's strength, and the power Jerry displayed on Contra was already very close to that of the Celestial.

In fact, it was pretty much what Jerry had guessed. The reason Thanos recalled the Supergiant was to prevent Jerry from suddenly interfering and causing trouble during the battle for the Infinity Stones.

Even so, Jerry didn't care, because his strength was far greater than Thanos had predicted, and Thanos's preparations were all in vain.

Even if there were one more superstar, or even one more Thanos, he still wouldn't be a match for Jerry.

"No need to rush or worry, let's watch the show slowly and wait until they're finished before we go on stage."

With a wave of his hand, Jerry cast an invisibility spell, making everyone invisible to prevent Thanos and Devan from detecting them. He then threw out a magic flying carpet, carrying everyone slowly towards where Thanos and his forces were.

When the snipe and the clam fight, the fisherman benefits. Today, all of them, the Avengers, are the fisherman who will appear in the end.
