Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 780 Special Bar

Chapter 780 Unique Bar (First Update)

"It's a success! It's a success! I can see them!"

After Hank's series of actions, the huge machine connected to the helmet finally started up, and Charles, under the influence of the brainwave diffuser, sensed the presence of mutants in the surrounding city.

As Charles finished speaking, a smile appeared on Eric's face.

"The coordinates of the first mutant have been found."

Hank pulled a piece of white paper from the machine, on which was printed a very precise coordinate.

"I knew it, we have many companions!"

Charles clenched his fists, constantly stimulating his brainwaves to input the coordinates of the mutants he sensed into the machine's printer.

In just fifteen minutes, twenty slips of paper with coordinates written on them were collected.

"Alright, Hank, turn off the machine. Charles has reached his limit."

Sensing that Charles's mental energy was about to run out, Jerry reminded Hank to turn off the brainwave diffuser.

Charles is still young and his abilities have not been fully developed. His mental strength is certainly not as strong as it will be in his old age. It is already quite remarkable that he can persist in using the brainwave diffuser for fifteen minutes.

Sure enough, when Hank turned off the machine and removed the helmet with the brainwave diffuser, Charles swayed as he stood up and almost fainted.

Fortunately, Raven reacted quickly and caught him in time.

"Charles, how is it?"

Following closely behind Raven was a somewhat nervous Eric.

As an assassin who was cruelly raised from childhood, a man whose heart is filled with revenge, Eric has few friends except for a few women who satisfy his basic physical desires.

He has always been a lonely person.

Charles, who could understand him, could be considered the first friend he truly recognized.

If it weren't for Charles, he would have left with all the information about the Black Emperor the night he joined the CIA.

"It's alright, we should set off as soon as possible, the coordinates could change at any time!"

Charles shook his head, trying to clear his mind, and then spoke to Eric.

The brainwave diffuser could indeed help Charles pinpoint the exact location of nearby mutants, but mutants are living, moving beings, not inanimate objects, and their locations could change at any time.

"Let's go!"

Eric thought for a moment and took Charles from Raven.

They had finally negotiated with the CIA and secured the mission to find mutants on their own. They couldn't afford to fail to produce any results, otherwise, if CIA agents got involved, that would be a result they didn't want to see.

"Jerry, want to come with us? You're just sitting here doing nothing anyway."

Just as the two were about to reach the door, Charles suddenly remembered something, turned around, and smiled as he extended an invitation to Jerry.

Eric was clearly surprised when he heard Charles's invitation, as this was obviously not part of the original plan, but he did not object.

Jerry looked at Charles over there, thought for a moment, and then nodded.

Indeed, aside from helping Hank with his problems, he didn't really have much else to do here. Recruiting those mutants with the two of them seemed like an interesting endeavor.

He knew some of Charles's ulterior motives, but he didn't care.

Just like before, when he restored Raven and Hank to their normal human forms, it was said to be a huge drain on their energy, but in reality it was just a matter of using their brains a little and casting two spells.

As long as we can successfully obtain the multiverse-level Phoenix Force later, it's really not a big deal to help out with this little thing in the early stages.

Taking Jean Grey's Phoenix Force and giving her some help to her future school, teachers, lover, and friends can be considered some compensation for her.

Evening, outside a large, luxuriously decorated bar in Washington, D.C.

"I hope this time, we can succeed!"

Eric moved his hand slightly, and the bar's metal doors opened automatically, allowing Charles and Jerry to step inside.

Since they left the lab, they have visited five coordinate points, but haven't recruited a single mutant.

Four of the coordinate points are empty, which means that the mutant that was previously located has left its original position and now it is unknown where it has gone.

Having a coordinate point is fine, but the mutant is only a six or seven-year-old child, which doesn't meet the criteria for recruiting him into the CIA.

"Looks like it's a unique bar."

Jerry looked at the noisy bar, where women were dancing seductively on the tables, and couldn't help but smile.

Eric and Charles, standing beside him, also wore smiles that only men would understand.

People are often young and carefree, and Professor X and Magneto in their younger days frequented this type of bar for entertainment.

Charles is a descendant of British nobility. He is rich and handsome and a regular at bars. Jerry first met him while partying in a bar.

As an assassin, Eric would often go to a bar to relieve stress after killing someone, or meet a beautiful woman to spend the night with. That's how his son Quicksilver came to be.

So the two of them were quite familiar with this kind of bar, while Jerry was actually entering this type of bar for the first time.

Although Jerry has lived for many years and traveled to many worlds and universes, he has spent most of his time studying magic, researching laws, and pursuing various ways to improve his strength.

During my leisure time, I simply spend time with Hermione, my family, or enjoy the scenery.

The bars he'd frequented most often were the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley and the Pig's Head and Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade. This was his first time visiting such a unique bar.

"Found her, it's the girl dancing in the black lace lingerie on the very middle table."

Charles placed his index finger on his temple, activated his telepathic abilities, and quickly located the mutants inside the bar.

Without the brainwave diffusion device, Charles's search area for mutants was greatly reduced, but covering the entire bar was still not a big problem.

So as long as the mutant doesn't stray too far from the initially determined location, especially if that location is their home or workplace, Charles should be able to find them.

"Let's go say hello!"

It was Jerry's first time visiting a bar like this, and he found it quite novel. He led the way to the middle table, sat down, and began to enjoy the view.

Charles and Eric exchanged a smile, then sat down on either side of Jerry and ordered triple drinks from the waiter.

Finally, they found a mutant who met the recruitment criteria and seemed to have a high chance of being recruited, which greatly improved their previously depressed mood.
