Chapter 815 Kryptonian Battleship

Chapter 815 Kryptonian Battleship (Second Update)

Half an hour later, Jerry and Clark were taken to the agreed-upon exchange location between the human government and Zod, a large wasteland a hundred miles outside of the metropolis.

The area is already saturated with combat troops, and tanks, missiles, rocket launchers, fighter jets, combat helicopters, and more are everywhere.

Although the human government wanted to exchange Clark for peace, it was not naive enough to believe everything Zod and the other aliens said. They were also prepared for any possible battles should Zod change his mind.

However, Jerry couldn't help but shake his head when he saw the powerful weapons the humans had, because he knew that the technological gap between the two civilizations was too great.

As a civilization that once conquered most of the universe, the Kryptonians, even without using any weapons, could destroy all the armed resistance forces in front of them simply by relying on their own physical strength.

The Kryptonians' purpose in making deals with the human government was solely to acquire Clark.

Of course, if General Swanwick, the disguised Martian manhunter, were willing to take action, he could at least offer some resistance. However, this guy is very cautious; even when Metropolis was almost destroyed in the movie, he didn't make a move.

Ultimately, after Steppenwolf was killed and he sensed that Darkseid was about to descend upon Earth, he appeared and joined the Justice League.

"They're here!"

Jerry and Clark both looked up at the same time.

A small black dot in the sky rapidly grew larger, and soon a small Kryptonian spaceship, resembling a beetle, landed on the open ground in front of the human army's defensive line.

Then two Kryptonians wearing black Kryptonian bio-armor combat suits stepped out of the small spaceship.

The one in the lead, clearly a female Kryptonian by her figure, opened her mechanical mask, revealing an energy shield inside, and walked up to Clark, who was wearing the El family's battle suit, looking him up and down:

"Karl El, I am Vice Commander Fiora Earl. On behalf of General Zod, I welcome you. Please follow me!"

After saying that, she turned around and led the soldiers carrying Kryptonian weapons back towards the spaceship.

As for the human army that was on high alert, she didn't even glance at them, completely ignoring their existence.

Clark glanced at Jerry, then silently followed behind Fiora without saying a word, while Jerry also stepped forward and walked alongside Clark.

At the boarding gate of the Kryptonian spaceship, Fiora frowned slightly as she looked at Jerry standing next to Clark.

"Who are you? We only need Karl, not humans from Earth."

"I'm Jerry, Carl's best friend on Earth. Carl asked me to come with him. We Earthlings like to do everything together, like smoking together, drinking together, peeing together, and pooping together. Don't you aliens do that?"

Jerry shrugged and laughed.

Fiora turned to look at Clark.

Clark's lips twitched, then he nodded with absolute certainty:

"Yes, if you don't want Jerry to stay with me, I'll leave immediately. You should know that the human army can't do anything to me. I'm only willing to come see Zod because I want to know what he's up to."

"Humans are truly a weak species."

Fiora glanced at Jerry with disdain, then, hearing the command coming from her suit, turned to Clark and replied:

"General Zod said we can bring him along."

In Fiora's mind, the Kryptonian vice commander's ideal society was one where everyone was born with a social position and had to strictly adhere to their duties.

The chaotic and disorderly state of the Earth, the lack of clear division of labor, and even the practice of people sharing toilets are manifestations of a low level of evolution.

"That's really not funny."

Jerry shook his head inwardly and, together with Clark, entered the small Kryptonian spaceship, flying towards the massive Kryptonian warship outside Earth.

"Wearing this machine, the air inside our spaceship is not suitable for human survival on Earth."

On the way to the warship, Fiora took out an energy shield and put it on Jerry's head. Jerry pretended to be an ordinary human and cooperated very well.

"Karl El, you have no idea how long we've been looking for you!"

Inside the Kryptonian spaceship's main control room, General Zod, clad in Kryptonian armor, immediately broke into a bright smile upon seeing Clark.

With Clark, he could find the Codex and revive the Kryptonian civilization on Earth.

"You are Zod!"

Clark was not happy to see Zod, for the man before him was his father's killer.

However, before the two could exchange more than a few words, Clark suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood and collapsed weakly to the ground.

"You're rejecting the air inside the spaceship. You've spent your whole life adapting to Earth's ecology, but you haven't adapted to ours."

Upon seeing this, Zod immediately realized the reason for Clark's weakness and his tone carried a hint of sarcasm.

At that moment, Jerry ripped off the energy shield from his head and put it on Clark's head, restoring him to normal.

Although his body is not as strong as Clark's, it has been magically modified so that he can survive without breathing air and is therefore unaffected by any environmental factors.

"You've actually adapted to our environment."

Seeing that Jerry was completely unharmed after the energy shield was removed, Zod's face immediately showed a look of surprise.

Under normal circumstances, if an ordinary Earthling inhaled the air from their warship, he would probably vomit blood and die within seconds, and would not be as unharmed as Jerry is now.

Jerry shrugged:

"Maybe I've always had a stronger body adaptability since I was a child!"

Zod: "????"

"What is your purpose in coming to Earth?"

Clark, now back to normal, questioned Zod.

Zod stopped worrying about why Jerry, an Earthling, could adapt to the environment inside the Kryptonian warship, turned to Clark and gave a straightforward reply.

"Krypton has been destroyed. We are the last Kryptonians in the entire universe. Joe has given you the treasure book containing all the genetic templates of our Kryptonians. Now give it to me. I will use it to rebuild Kryptonian civilization."

How to rebuild Kryptonian civilization?

Clark looked wary.

Zod pointed to Earth outside the warship:

"Destroy the civilization of this planet, transform it into Krypton, and then use the Codex to repopulate new Kryptonians. Karl, you are also a Kryptonian, and you have a responsibility to rebuild Kryptonian civilization with us!"

"My father told me that the development of Kryptonian civilization has gone astray, it is wrong, it should not be rebuilt, and I will not let you destroy the Earth."

Despite Zod's persuasion, Clark remained unmoved, his tone resolute.

"Just as foolish as your father. Since that's the case, I'll have no choice but to force you to reveal the whereabouts of the manual."

Upon hearing Clark's reply, Zod's expression turned cold, and he prepared to order his men to forcibly use force to make Clark hand over the book.
