Chapter 825 Steel Bones (First Update)

The universe Jerry lives in is called the DC Extended Universe.

According to the history of this universe, when Earth was first born, the Greek gods ruled the entire planet.

Zeus, the king of the gods, later created a fair, kind, strong, and passionate life form in his own image—humans on Earth.

Zeus's son, Ares, the god of war, was jealous of Zeus's love for mankind, so he instigated mankind to kill each other, starting one war after another.

To restore peace to humanity, Zeus created the Amazons, a noble warrior race composed entirely of women, hoping they could influence humanity with love.

It did have some effect at first, but it eventually ended in failure, and the kind Amazons were all enslaved by humans as female slaves.

So the Amazon queen led her people in rebellion against humans, freeing all Amazons from human enslavement.

Meanwhile, on another continent on Earth, lived a race even more ancient than humans and Amazons: the technologically advanced Atlanteans.

The first ruler of Atlantis commissioned the greatest weaponsmith in history to forge a trident from the iron of Poseidon. Legend has it that the trident was imbued with the power to rule the seas.

The powerful Atlanteans sought to defeat humans, gods, and Amazons to inform the entire Earth, but they encountered the even more powerful Darkseid leading a massive invasion of the universe.

And the location of the invasion just happened to be Earth.

To resist Darkseid and his army, humans, Atlanteans, Amazons, Zeus, Ares, and the ancient Green Lanterns who maintain the safety of the universe joined forces to severely wound Darkseid and drive him out of the universe.

Afterwards, they divided the Mother Box that Darkseid used to enter this universe into three parts, giving them to humans, Amazons, and Atlanteans respectively for safekeeping.

Afterwards, the War of the Gods began, and Ares, the god of war, once again stirred up trouble on earth, instigating war among humans, and even personally fighting against the Amazons.

Zeus led the Greek gods in a personal campaign against Ares. The gods were killed in battle, and Ares was driven back.

Zeus knew Ares would return, so before his death he used his last divine power to create Paradise Island, isolating the Amazons from the world so Ares could not find them.

She and the Amazon Queen had a daughter, who would later become Wonder Woman, Diana.

During the War of the Gods, the Atlanteans suffered a technological backlash for researching the secrets of infinite energy, causing the entire continent to collapse and sink into the sea.

During their long underwater life, the Atlanteans were given the ability to breathe underwater, and they also split into seven nations: the Kingdom of Atlantis, the Kingdom of Zebel, the Fishermen's Kingdom, the Lost Kingdom, the Kingdom of the Betrayer, the Saltwater Kingdom, and the Trench Clan.

Therefore, the Mother Box kept by the Amazons is on Paradise Island, the Mother Box kept by the Atlanteans is in the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and the Mother Box kept by the humans is in Cyborg's hands now.

Jerry now needs to retrieve the human Mother Box, which is also the easiest Mother Box to obtain.

Above a dimly lit street in Gotham City, Jerry deactivated his invisibility and slowly landed on the balcony of a second-floor house, then knocked on the balcony door.

"Who?"

Suddenly, a very alert voice came from inside the room.

Jerry asked politely:

"Excuse me, is Mr. Victor Stone here?"

"I am who you are, and why are you on our balcony?"

However, he didn't give Jerry a friendly look. Instead, he tightened his hood to cover half of his mechanical face as much as possible, so that Jerry wouldn't notice his unusual appearance.

"What brings you here?"

"I want that mother box in your cabinet. I wonder if you'd be willing to part with it. Of course, in exchange, I can use magic to restore your body to normal."

Jerry smiled and pointed to the wardrobe behind Victor.

He could sense that there was a power in that wardrobe that was of the same origin as the one inside Cyborg's body.

At the end of World War II, the Mother Box of mankind was found, buried beneath a monastery in Italy.

On its way to Hitler, the mother box was intercepted by the Allies and taken to the United States in 1944. It was named Object 61982 and has been kept in the Pentagon's archives ever since.

It wasn't until Superman appeared that humanity learned of the existence of extraterrestrials, and the Department of Defense retrieved it again, hoping to obtain advanced alien technology through research.

The researcher in charge of this project was Victor's father, Silas Stone.

A month ago, Viktor and his mother were in a car accident. His mother died on the spot, and Viktor was left barely alive, essentially a death sentence.

To save Viktor, Silas used the power of the Mother Box to modify him, turning him into a cyborg.

Therefore, the energy within Viktor's body and the energy of the Mother Box are of the same origin and are the same type of energy.

"Can you make me a normal person?"

Upon hearing Jerry's words, Victor's eyes immediately changed, transforming from a deathly indifference to a glimmer of hope.

He was originally a rugby player full of dreams, but now he has become a mechanical monster with only half a face and half an upper body.

They can no longer go to school, see their friends, eat and sleep, fulfill their dreams, or even find love, have a family, or have children.

He felt that his life had lost its meaning, even though this body possessed immense power, allowing him to manipulate the internet at will and instantly increase the number of people in his bank account.

"Magic, nothing is impossible!"

Jerry nodded firmly.

Upon hearing this, Victor turned around, took the mother box out of the cabinet, and handed it to Jerry.

"If you can make me a normal person, I'll give you this."

Jerry reached out and slapped Victor's forehead, directly shoving his soul out of his body. Then he plucked a hair from Victor's head and quickly reshaped it into a normal human body.

Finally, his soul and new body are united as one.

"Alright, it was a pleasure doing business with you. I'll be going now!"

Jerry put the Mother Box and Victor's modified body into the Bell Universe, waved to Victor who was staring incredulously at his body, and then Apparated away.

After Jerry left, two lines of tears streamed down Victor's face:

"Thanks!"
