Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard
Chapter 826 Wonder Woman
Chapter 826 Wonder Woman (Second Update)
"We've got the first mother box. Should we go get the Amazonian one or the Atlantean one now?"
Floating above Gotham, Jerry paused for a moment, then silently recited a name once more:
"Diana Prince!"
He decided to go find Wonder Woman first and ask her to go with him to Themyscira to retrieve the Mother Box.
In fact, with his current strength, he could easily enter Paradise Island and forcibly take the Mother Box away; the Amazons would be unable to stop him.
But there's no need for that. He was clearly doing a good deed, collecting three Mother Boxes to help Steppenwolf and Darkseid for the safety of Earth and the universe.
In the end, he ended up looking like a villain, getting attacked by a bunch of superheroes, which was just too stupid.
Although all the superheroes on Earth combined are no match for him, even the strongest Superman is negligible to him thanks to Kryptonite.
But whether in Marvel or DC, Jerry has one rule: avoid being a villain if possible, because both worlds are dominated by superheroes.
No matter how powerful the villain is, they will eventually be defeated by the superheroes for all sorts of inexplicable reasons, unless you are powerful enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with the creator of this world.
Just like when the Ancient One came to warn us back in the Marvel universe.
If he insists on collecting Earths from various universes, he will soon find himself embroiled in all sorts of troubles related to eternal creation.
Therefore, when dealing with superheroes, it's best to avoid using violence if the issue can be resolved through negotiation and peaceful means.
Moreover, he now enjoys a good reputation throughout the Earth because he previously stopped the Zod invasion.
Washington Museum of Natural History
Diana was painting the huge stone statue with a paintbrush when a female guide pushed open the door and called out to her:
"Diana, there's a handsome guy outside looking for you!"
"Looking for me? Did he say his name?"
Diana paused, a hint of confusion on her face.
She has been working at the Washington Museum ever since she killed Ares, the god of war, and ended World War I.
She changed identities several times because she wouldn't age, but basically, apart from the people at the museum, she didn't make any friends.
"No, but he said he wants to go to some Paradise Island with you. Tell me, do you have a new boyfriend? No wonder you didn't want him when I introduced you to someone last time, turns out you already have a handsome guy."
The female tour guide had a mocking expression on her face.
Paradise Island—just hearing the name makes it sound like a perfect vacation spot for couples.
However, upon hearing this, Diana's expression changed slightly. She then jumped down from the wooden frame, placed her paintbrush aside, and smiled at the female guide:
"He's not a boyfriend, maybe just someone I know. Where is he now?"
He said he'd be waiting for you at the coffee shop across from the museum!
The female tour guide looked incredulous.
Diana nodded, put on her coat, and quickly left the room.
Seeing this, the female guide murmured to herself:
"Walking so fast, and still saying he's not her boyfriend. Sigh, it's good to be pretty, so many handsome guys are chasing after her."
"Miss Prince, over here!"
Jerry watched as Wonder Woman walked into the coffee shop, then stood up and waved to her.
Diana sat down in front of Jerry and looked him up and down with great interest:
"Sir, I don't think I know you!"
"My name is Jerry Carmen. You can call me Jerry, or Mr. Magic. If you change my appearance, you'll know who I am."
Jerry briefly introduced himself, then removed the illusion from his face, revealing his true appearance.
When Diana saw Jerry's true appearance, her pupils contracted:
"So it was you!"
How could she not know about the magician?
She watched the entire battle that took place in Metropolis on television, and even went to the site of the final battle to see the huge crater that had been blasted out.
To be honest, even she was deeply shocked when she saw that huge pit.
"I wonder what business Mr. Magic has with a female PhD student who works at a museum?"
With a quick glance, Diana asked with a smile.
Jerry smiled too:
"Diana Prince, daughter of Zeus and the Amazon Queen, is nearly five thousand years old. She originally lived on Paradise Island until World War I, when she met Steve Trevor, an American fighter pilot who had mistakenly wandered onto the island."
Afterwards, she left Heaven with Steve to participate in World War I, killed Ares, the God of War, and prevented the war. On the surface, she became a female scientist at the museum, but in secret, she transformed into Wonder Woman, punishing evil and upholding justice in human society.
"How do you know all this!"
Upon hearing Jerry reveal his entire past, Diana wore an incredulous expression.
It would be understandable if the other party only knew that she was Wonder Woman. After all, although she had been hiding her identity all these years, as long as you look carefully enough, you can still find some clues.
But the fact that she knew she was Zeus's daughter and about Paradise Island was truly unexpected, because besides her, only the deceased Steve Trevor knew those things.
Jerry picked up his coffee and took a small sip.
"I am a magician, a magician with the ability to foresee the future, so I often see fragments of the past and the future."
"When Zod and the Kryptonians invaded Earth, it was because I saw a glimpse of the event beforehand that I joined forces with Clark to stop them."
"So, you asked me to go to Paradise Island because you foresaw something?"
Diana is no longer the naive old maid she was when she first left Paradise Island. After living in the human world for so many years, her intelligence has significantly improved.
Soon, some speculations arose about why Jerry had come specifically to see her.
"Yes, I foresaw an even greater catastrophe that would befall the Earth, and not only the Earth, but our entire universe could be destroyed."
The disaster began with a Mother Box being guarded in a secret chamber on Paradise Island!
"Mother box?"
At this time, Diana, who had not yet entered the temple, was unaware of the Mother Box or the great battle of the Darkseid invasion.
"Yes, it's the Mother Box. It all started with a great battle in ancient times."
So Jerry then told Diana all about how Darkseid's invasion was repelled, how the Mother Box split into three, and how Steppenwolf and Darkseid would invade in the future.
After listening, Diana pondered for a moment:
"So, you're thinking of collecting all three Mother Boxes first, and then concentrating your forces to deliver a crushing blow when the Steppenwolves invade?"
"Yes, your Amazons are indeed stronger than individual humans, but they are no match for Steppenwolf and his Parademons. In the end, you will not only lose the Mother Box, but also suffer heavy casualties."
Jerry nodded.
