Marvel's Hogwarts Wizard

Chapter 89 First Use of the Soul-Stealing Curse

Chapter 89 First Use of the Soul-Stealing Curse (Second Update)

"Hell's Kitchen, here I come!"

At midnight, Jerry rode Nimbus 2000, which he had taken from the box, and wearing a brand-new wizard's robe, soaring into the sky from the abandoned factory, heading straight for the infamous Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan.

The wizard robe he was wearing was no ordinary wizard robe; it was a high-priced custom-made robe from a Diagon Alley shop, imbued with an armor-protecting charm through alchemy.

With this wizard's robe, the threat posed by some ordinary firearms will be greatly reduced.

This is why he now dares to go to Hell's Kitchen to earn little red stars.

On this return, he brought with him a large number of spellbooks, with much knowledge to learn, including new spells, new potions, alchemy, and so on.

All of this requires the support of a large number of Little Red Stars.

But now, there isn't a single red star left on his panel.

Therefore, he had no choice but to target Hell's Kitchen, a high-crime area that even the police dared not touch.

Now, thanks to his frequent patrols, there are very few crimes in Queens anymore, at most some petty thefts, and hardly any red stars to be earned.

Hell's Kitchen is different. Murder, robbery, rape, human trafficking, and flour trafficking occur there countless times every day, making it a veritable paradise for crime.

It is also a paradise for Little Red Star to enter the tent.

However, the criminals there don't operate alone; they've formed an entire industry chain, creating a vast black empire.

Jerry's involvement will inevitably affect the interests of these people and will also be met with very strong backlash.

Why didn't he touch this big piece of fat meat before?

The only worry is that a group of people might shoot you down from below with heavy weapons, or even a rocket launcher might hit you.

Now, with the Ironclad Curse granting him bulletproof wizard robes and having learned so many new spells, his strength is much greater than when he fought the Abominations.

He also bought a lot of antidotes, healing potions, and other magical potions, which greatly improved his safety.

It's time to go all out and make a big splash!

With the Nimbus 2000 flying at high speed, Jerry quickly crossed Queens, flew over the East River, and entered Manhattan.

Manhattan and Queens are separated only by the East River. At lightning speed, he found Hell's Kitchen in less than half an hour.

"What a paradise for sin!"

Flying in mid-air, overlooking the vast Hell's Kitchen area, Jerry let out a complex sigh.

He drew his wand, swooped down on his flying broomstick, and landed at the nearest crime scene. He petrified several people and threw them out, freezing the three girls who were crying for help in the alley and the criminals who were committing violence in place.

Then a dollar flew over and stole all the money from the three criminals.

"Help him recover quickly!"

He used a healing spell to save a passerby who had been shot, and then immobilized the criminal who fired the shot.

And so, Jerry's figure kept appearing at crime scenes throughout Hell's Kitchen, and the once empty little red star finally began to gradually fill out again.

During this time, he was also shot in the back, but his new wizard robes easily deflected the bullets.

In fact, once Jerry activates Superman mode, unless the opponent is attacking from a distance or there are many of them, it is still very difficult to hit him with a gun.

At 2:30 a.m., Jerry looked at the nearly 2,000 little red stars that had increased in number and left Hell's Kitchen with satisfaction.

However, just as he was preparing to cross the East River and return to Queens, he discovered a transaction that did not seem to be entirely legal in a container area at the East River dock.

Jerry quietly landed on top of the large crane at the dock and carefully looked down.

The two groups below don't look like respectable people at all. Well, what respectable person would be doing business at the docks at two or three in the morning?

The two leaders were carrying boxes and whispering to each other, their words unclear. Their henchmen, each holding a gun, were positioned around the perimeter to prevent unauthorized individuals from approaching.

Jerry roughly counted that there were nearly forty people in the two groups combined, and each of them had a gun, with a few even carrying rifles.

"I wonder if there are any red stars (emergency symbols) for cracking down on contraband trafficking?"

Jerry touched his chin, then hesitated for a moment.

More than forty armed criminals who looked like they were not to be trifled with were not ordinary street thugs. If it weren't for Little Red Star, he wouldn't have really wanted to go down and take this risk.

However, this hesitation only lingered in his mind for a few seconds before disappearing completely.

Because he saw that the leaders of the two sides below each opened a box, and one of the boxes was full of US dollars.

Don't be fooled by his current efforts in fighting crime and his considerable savings; it's only a few tens of thousands of dollars at most, because ordinary robbers don't carry much cash, and as a superhero, he can't expect much reward after saving people.

However, the entire suitcase below is probably filled with at least a few hundred thousand US dollars.

Since it's all illegal anyway, wouldn't it be a waste if he didn't take it? Besides, this kind of behavior might even have some red stars, since if another box of drugs were to leak out, it would also harm quite a few people.

Having made his decision, Jerry didn't rush down immediately.

With so many people carrying guns, wouldn't he be asking for trouble if he just went down there? The Ironclad Charm can fire bullets, but it's not omnipotent. The Wizard's Robe can protect the body but not the head.

Besides, there's no need for that. In this situation, a sneak attack is the safest and most efficient method.

Carefully increasing his height, Jerry circled around to the back of a shipping container, threw the Nimbus 2000 into a small box, and then cautiously crept over with his wand.

"Out-of-body experience"

A burly, fierce-looking white man was cautiously looking around with a pistol in hand when he suddenly felt a flash of light in front of him.

Immediately afterwards, he felt his mind go blank, and then an intense feeling of happiness began to fill his heart.

"Go, walk over slowly, and quietly shoot that guy who's making a deal with your boss a few times!"

A very gentle and beautiful voice appeared in his heart. Although he felt that what he was doing was wrong, a strong sense of happiness still made him unconsciously follow the instructions in the voice.

He slowly left his post, a silly grin on his face, and walked towards the center of the transaction.

"Mara, what's wrong? Have you discovered something?"

"What are you going to do?"

The white, burly leader frowned as he saw his men approaching, thinking something had happened.

However, the burly white man ignored him and instead happily raised his gun and fired at the boss opposite him.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

The boss on the other side clearly didn't expect that his business partner of several years would betray him, and was shot dead on the spot by the burly white man.

The scene froze for a second, then the side whose leader had been shot cursed angrily and pointed their guns at the white burly man and their leader, firing a burst of bullets that sent both of them to their deaths.
