Chapter 90 Starting Middle School Today

Chapter 90 Starting Middle School Today (Third Update)

"Dark magic is really effective against ordinary people!"

Jerry nodded in satisfaction as he watched the two sides locked in a fierce battle at the dock.

The spell he just used was the Soul Reaper spell he learned from Quirrell's notes. Although he wasn't particularly proficient at it, it was clearly more than enough to deal with ordinary people.

This time, his spell repertoire has improved significantly, so sometimes, it's not necessary to stubbornly confront those with modern weapons. Flexibly applying spells with different effects is often more efficient.

Just like now, he doesn't need to take action anymore; he can simply watch from afar as the two groups fight it out.

In most of the Harry Potter world, the destructive power of magic is less than that of modern weapons powered by advanced technology.

However, some of the magical effects produced by magic are beyond the reach of many modern high-tech solutions, and its advantage lies in its difficulty to defend against, or even its inability to defend against.

"Fly over, all of you!"

Just as the two groups were exchanging fire with bloodshot eyes because their leader had been killed, the two boxes that had originally fallen in the middle suddenly flew straight toward a certain shipping container.

It was Jerry who used the summoning spell.

He threw the two suitcases directly into the small box, and seeing that the number of little red stars had indeed increased, he ignored the fighting people and rode away on his Nimbus 2000.

Simply committing murder, whether by a good person or a bad person, will not earn you a little red star. Only by stopping ongoing crimes and doing good deeds can you earn a little red star.

Now that we've got the money and the goods, why keep them?

Back in the abandoned warehouse, Jerry threw everything into a box and secretly returned home.

He hasn't learned the Disillusionment Spell yet. Once he does, he won't have to go in and out of the warehouse every time; he can just fly home invisible.

There are textbooks for older students, as well as that book, "The Invisibility Book of Invisibility." I believe this time shouldn't be too long.

Early the next morning,

After finishing breakfast, Jerry put his sister Elsa on the school bus to elementary school.

When summer vacation ended, he and Elsa naturally had to go back to school.

However, Elsa is still a primary school student, while he has become a proud middle school student starting today.

Therefore, his school was no longer the primary school he had before, but a different middle school.

His middle school was a public school, a very ordinary one. Its main feature was that it was far from his previous elementary school, so his classmates who had attended the same school would most likely not choose this school.

Haas had planned to send him to a private high school, which, although much more expensive, offered a better educational experience than public schools, but Jerry refused.

Previously, in order to earn little red stars, he performed exceptionally well in every aspect, to the point that all the teachers and students in the school knew him, making him a true celebrity.

He no longer cares about those little red stars, so naturally he doesn't need to show off like before.

Now, he plans to use the compound decoction to completely remove himself from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s sight, so he will naturally have to keep a low profile from now on.

Jerry looked into this public high school and found it to be very average in all aspects, with lax management, which was perfect for his current situation.

"Elsa, while I'm away, you must study hard at school and listen to your teachers. If anyone bullies you, be sure to tell me when you get back."

Before sending Elsa onto the school bus, Jerry gave her a few instructions, still a little worried.

"Brother, I don't want to be separated from you, waaaaah~~~"

Elsa pouted, looking reluctant to part with him.

Jerry offered a comforting word, somewhat touched:

"It's okay, you'll go to the same school as your brother when you start middle school next year!"

As Jerry watched Elsa board the bus and the bus start moving, he was about to turn and leave when his ears twitched and his lips twitched involuntarily.

Because he was preparing compound decoctions in the box space this morning, his superhuman mode was not turned off, so his hearing was much stronger than normal.

He had just faintly heard Elsa's cheers coming from the window of the school bus that had already started moving.

"Yay! Yay! We've finally broken free from the clutches of evil Jerry! The era of Queen Elsa is finally here! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"Looks like I've been a bit too strict with her!"

Jerry smiled and shook his head, then slung his backpack over his shoulder and waved to a taxi.

Due to his past life's learning experiences, Jerry inevitably uses Chinese-style educational methods when guiding Elsa's studies.

Although he had tried his best not to interfere with Elsa's studies at home, he kept a close eye on her at school. That's probably why Elsa was so happy to be in a different school from Jerry!

Speaking of which, Jerry felt that he had surpassed most parents in the country in supervising Elsa's studies, and the fact that Elsa still failed her math tests every time was quite impressive.

Perhaps it's true that some people are just not naturally good at a certain thing, and no amount of effort will help; while others are naturally good at a certain thing, and can achieve great success even without much effort.

The saying "choice is more important than effort" seems to have some truth to it.

Jerry, who was not short of money, took a taxi for more than half an hour to finally arrive at his new middle school.

As the new school year begins, countless young men and women, brimming with youthful energy, step through the school gates.

They dressed in different styles, but almost all of them wore what they considered to be the trendiest clothes, because at this age, they all wanted to be the most stylish and fashionable kid in school.

Unlike in Chinese high schools, where high-achieving students are the center of attention, here, those who are academically gifted but unsophisticated are called bookworms and are looked down upon by most people, making it difficult for them to make friends.

Those who are popular are those who look trendy, multi-talented, or outstanding in various activities.

Perhaps because children here are exposed to the internet earlier, they are generally more mature than their Chinese counterparts, and therefore not as easily able to focus on their studies.

Among a group of very trendy high school students, Jerry was the one whose clothes were very ordinary.

He was wearing the most ordinary oversized t-shirt and jeans, covered his handsome face with a hat, and even wore a pair of thick black-rimmed glasses without a prescription. He wasn't very tall either.

Whether it's because he trained in martial arts from a young age and exceeded the standard, or because of his age, Jerry's height is not outstanding among his peers. Even after growing up for half a year in the small world, his height is only about the same as Hermione's.

Jerry didn't have much of a solution to this, but he thought it was mainly a matter of age. Normally, girls develop earlier, while boys develop later.

So, even though they're both eleven years old, Hermione is developing faster, while he'll probably have to wait another two years before he reaches his full height.

Haas once said that Jerry's biological father and mother were both exceptionally tall, truly handsome men and beautiful women.

It doesn't make sense that he only inherited his looks and not his height.
