Chapter 22 Quarrel and Oppression

Chapter 22 Quarrel and Oppression

"A scroll? What's that for?"

After returning home, Shiraku Yosuke first checked the box that the mysterious ninja had given him, and found two scrolls inside.

"Summoning Jutsu, White Snake... Could it be Orochimaru?"

After thinking it over, Bai Yunyang concluded that the only person who could be associated with snakes was Orochimaru.

Before, he was just a mountain dweller when he transmigrated, but suddenly many people had dreams about the future, and he became a hot commodity; after counting the people he knew, there were at most two hundred, and it could only be Orochimaru.

"It looks like a ninjutsu, and this scroll should be related to a summoning jutsu. Hmm, does it require a blood signature to be effective?"

After reading the two scrolls, Shirakumo Yosuke put them away and then went to the kitchen to cook.

He's been eating more and more lately, and he even has to prepare a midnight snack to prevent himself from getting hungry again after practicing too much at night.

After cooking the rice, Shirakumo Yosuke prepared the grilled meat, deciding to have grilled meat rice with sauce for dinner.

Soon, Shiraku Yosuke had almost finished dealing with the situation, and all that was left was to wait for Tsunade-sensei and Shizune-senpai to return.

Afterwards, Shiraku Yosuke went to the living room to read and pass the time.

A short while later, the sound of the door opening came from the front door. The sound surprised Shirokumo Yosuke slightly, as it shouldn't be Tsunade-sensei's time to come home yet.

Turning his head, he saw that it was indeed his beautiful teacher, but today Shiraku Yosuke sensed anger emanating from Tsunade.

"Yosuke Shirakumo!"

Tsunade strode over to Shirakumo Yosuke, then placed her hands on his shoulders and loudly asked, "Did someone give you a box today?!"

"That's right, Tsunade-sensei, you found out so quickly?"

Hakuun Yosuke did not deny it, and nodded to Tsunade, saying, "There are two scrolls inside, one is a summoning jutsu, and the other is a summoning scroll."

"Give it to me!"

"It's on the table. I was planning to tell you when you got back, Tsunade-sensei."

Before Shirokumo Yosuke could finish speaking, Tsunade took the scroll from the table, opened it, and her expression immediately darkened.

After putting the scroll away, Tsunade said to Yosuke Shirakumo with a serious expression, "Yosuke, you must not have any contact with Orochimaru from now on. If that bastard sends someone looking for you, tell me immediately, understand?"

"I understand, Tsunade-sensei."

When Shiraku Yosuke first heard Tsunade speak in such a serious tone and call him by his name, he agreed.

However, he couldn't help but say, "Tsunade-sensei, I actually feel that Orochimaru doesn't mean me any harm. My abilities allow me to sense a lot of things."

"Shut up! Don't talk about Orochimaru anymore, and don't say anything good about him, do you hear me!"

Tsunade interrupted loudly again, her face displaying an unquestionable expression, her eyes fixed on Shiraku Yosuke.

"."

Upon hearing this loud rebuke, Shirokumo Yosuke swallowed back the words he was about to say, and his hands clenched unconsciously. Why did he have to say it like this when we were just talking about it in private?

He was forcibly brought back; he didn't come to Konoha willingly!

This feeling of suffocation and oppression was something I had never experienced before, even when facing large wild beasts.

The room fell silent instantly, so quiet it was almost eerie.

Yosuke Shirakumo and Tsunade looked at each other without saying a word, as if time and space had suddenly stopped.

After what seemed like an eternity, the oppressive silence in the house was finally broken when the rice cookers in the kitchen beeped to indicate that the rice was cooked.

"I understand, Tsunade-sensei. Let's eat when Shizune-senpai gets back."

After saying that, Shiraku Yosuke nodded and walked towards the kitchen.

After Shiraku Yosuke left the living room, Tsunade felt even more agitated. She glanced at the figure preparing dinner in the kitchen and wanted to go in and say something, but her pride and anger prevented her from moving.

Soon, Tsunade heard a voice in her mind: "Tsunade, we already know. Let's go to the Hokage's office to discuss this."

The entire conversation was overheard by Hiruzen Sarutobi and the higher-ups of Konoha.

After extracting information from the ninja, the Anbu immediately reported it to Hiruzen Sarutobi. Hiruzen then summoned his advisors, Yamanaka Inoichi, and Nara Shikaku, and informed Tsunade of the matter.

It was Nara Shikaku's decision that Tsunade asked for the scroll after she returned, and they even used listening devices like walkie-talkies and crystal balls to watch Shirakumo Yosuke's reaction.

"knew"

Tsunade said in a low voice, knowing that the discussion was about Shirokumo Yosuke, because Shirokumo Yosuke seemed to have a lot of affection for Orochimaru just now.

Before leaving, Tsunade couldn't help but glance at the kitchen. She wanted to say something, but remembering that the old man and the others were still watching, she left without saying anything.

Noticing Tsunade leave, Shirakumo Yosuke looked up briefly, but then continued preparing dinner.

After a while, Shizune returned, walked around the house, and then went to the backyard to ask, "Where is Lady Tsunade?"

"Tsunade-sensei has gone out on business. If Shizune-senpai is hungry, you can eat early. I have already set aside dinner for Tsunade-sensei."

"Hey, isn't everything alright at the hospital?"

Shizune was a little confused. The hospital matter was something Tsunade had suddenly pushed onto her, so why was she busy with it again? Could it be that she couldn't resist the urge to gamble?

However, Jingyin didn't think much of it and turned around to go back to her room for dinner.

------------

Hokage's Office

When Tsunade pushed open the door, she found that quite a few people had already arrived; in addition to Hiruzen Sarutobi, there were two advisors, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, as well as Inoichi Yamanaka, Shikaku Nara, and Jiraiya.

"Jiraiya, you're here too. I thought you had left the village."

Tsunade glanced at Jiraiya and said that she hadn't seen him in the village for a long time and really thought he had left.

"It'll be here soon."

Jiraiya chuckled and scratched his head, saying, "I'm leaving tomorrow, but I'm going to gather intelligence."

"Stop the small talk, Tsunade, let's get down to business."

Hiruzen Sarutobi tapped his pipe on the table, interrupting his two disciples, and asked, "What did Orochimaru give Hakuun Yosuke?"

Tsunade slowly began to speak: "There are two scrolls, one is a scroll for summoning techniques, and the other is a scroll for summoning contracts. However, I returned early, and Yosuke also planned to give me the scrolls. He did not practice them or sign a contract."

Hiruzen Sarutobi glanced at the two scrolls and said with a grave expression, "It seems Orochimaru is still not giving up. Moreover, recently there have been some requests for Hakukumo Yosuke at the underground gold exchange. The village needs to be careful from now on."

"Why not say that Shirakumo Yosuke has feelings for Orochimaru, Tsunade?"

Koharu Utatane spoke up in an unfriendly tone, "We all heard it, Tsunade. Yosuke Shirakumo was saying good things about Orochimaru, and when will the cursed mark on his neck be removed? You're being too lenient with Yosuke Shirakumo!"
