Chapter 24 Orochimaru's Methods

"The barbecue sauce seems a bit dry? And the rice is a little hard too. But it's delicious, very tasty."

Tsunade ate while being picky, but when she said the last sentence, her voice suddenly became much softer, so soft that only she could hear it. Shirakumo Yosuke in the kitchen didn't hear it at all.

Having eaten at hotels and izakayas for over a decade, Tsunade discovered for the first time that being waited for at dinner could taste so good.

"Barbecued meat tastes best when it's fresh out of the oven. Shizune-senpai really praised my barbecue today, Tsunade-sensei."

Shiraku Yosuke came out of the kitchen and said this, then placed the heated milk on the dining table.

"Tsunade-sensei?"

Shiraku Yosuke glanced at the bento box, then closed the lid and put the box away.

Meanwhile, the ANBU outside the school didn't react much to what they saw. They only needed to investigate suspected Orochimaru or spies from other ninja villages, and didn't care much about the children's youthful infatuation.

When it was time for the ninja academy to let out, Shiraku Yosuke did not linger outside but went straight home.

Back home, after cooking dinner as usual, Shiraku Yosuke took out the bento box, tapped it twice to examine it, and found the hidden compartment.

The two familiar reels immediately told Shiraku Yosuke what was going on with that girl today.

"Was that yesterday something you deliberately did to let someone find out? It really was."

Bai Yunyoujie suddenly understood. He must be under close surveillance now. Those watchful eyes that felt like needles on his back must be the methods of Konoha ninjas, and the scroll that Orochimaru sent yesterday was deliberately made so obvious.
