Chapter 24 Main Quest Released

"Newspaper, new newspaper!" A child's voice echoed through the street, accompanied by the clear sound of bells.

"What are you doing, car in front! Do you even know how to drive?!" An angry driver stuck his head out of the window and yelled at the car in front.

A noisy sound entered Fugaku Uchiha's ears, and he gradually regained his senses, slowly opening his eyes. But the scene that came into view the next moment stunned him instantly.

"Where am I?" Fugaku muttered to himself, his eyes filled with disbelief. He looked around and found himself standing on an unfamiliar street.

Towering buildings lined both sides of the street, each adorned with countless panes of glass that shimmered in the sunlight. Such luxurious and imposing architecture surpassed even the grand mansions of any famous figure he had ever seen.

A constant stream of people moved through the crowd, their clothing and appearance completely different from the ninja world he was familiar with.

"Is this an illusion?" Fugaku Uchiha's eyes narrowed, turning blood red instantly, with three tomoe appearing on them.

The chakra fluctuations spread around, but the scene before him remained unchanged. Everything seemed so real, without any trace of illusion.

He stared intently at his hands, clenching and unclenching them tightly until his nails almost dug into his palms, but the pain was so real that he had to believe it wasn't an illusion.

At that moment, Fugaku suddenly remembered the strange mechanical voice that had echoed in his mind earlier.

"Could I really have come to another world?! Could what that voice said be true?!" He was shocked, but the completely unfamiliar world before him seemed to be confirming the truth of that voice.

Just then, a silver-gray sedan sped past him, creating a strong gust of wind.

Fugaku Uchiha instinctively dodged to the side, staring wide-eyed as the car sped away, leaving only a cloud of dust in its wake.

"This carriage can move on its own without horses?" he muttered in disbelief, his voice filled with astonishment.

In the ninja world, the most common means of transportation is the horse-drawn carriage. This machine, capable of speeding without any power, is simply unbelievable.

Just as Fugaku was lost in thought, a young woman walked towards him. She was wearing a tight-fitting short top that revealed her flat stomach, and shorts that were almost like underwear, which outlined her long legs.

Fugaku Uchiha couldn't help but gasp. In his mind, how could a woman dress so revealingly? It was simply against etiquette and morally offensive!

One or two might be understandable, but right now almost half of the women are dressed like this.

Suddenly, a loud broadcast rang out, attracting Fugaku's attention.

Fugaku Uchiha looked in the direction the sound came from and saw a huge display screen flashing on a towering building not far away.

On the screen, a host dressed in a suit is solemnly reading out the latest news.

"According to the latest news, the high wall surrounding our city is nearing completion. This magnificent project will provide us with unprecedented security."

"This barrier will block all threats from the outside world and ensure our city remains safe from invasion. With it, we can live peacefully and carefree in this safe land."

Upon hearing the other person speak, Fugaku Uchiha was taken aback. The other person's words were completely different from those in the ninja world, but the moment the other person opened their mouth, he was able to directly understand their meaning.

"Could this also be the power of the so-called supreme god?"

As Fugaku was pondering, a pedestrian walked towards him. He instinctively dodged to the side, but to his surprise, the person passed right through him, as if he were just a wisp of air.

"This!" Fugaku couldn't believe his eyes. He reached out to touch the person next to him, but his fingertips passed right through the body without him feeling anything.

"No matter what happens, I must find a way back." Fugaku's eyes narrowed.

He took a deep breath and forced himself to continue reading the content on the screen.

As the last number fell, a strange feeling instantly enveloped Fugaku. He felt that he was no longer an outsider, but truly existed in this unfamiliar world.

However, Fugaku Uchiha's appearance immediately made him the focus of attention on the street. Pedestrians who were rushing by stopped and stared in astonishment at the strangely dressed man.

"Beep beep beep!"

A black sedan screeched to a halt behind Fugaku, its front end almost touching his back. The driver leaned out angrily and yelled at Fugaku, "Where did this lunatic come from? What are you doing standing in the middle of the road like that?!"

But at this moment, Fugaku Uchiha had no time to pay attention to the commotion behind him. He stared intently at the massive city wall by the sea, his expression becoming extremely solemn.

An unprecedented sense of crisis enveloped his heart, as if something terrible was approaching, bringing a devastating threat.

Seeing that Fugaku didn't react, the driver became even more annoyed and continued to shout, "Are you deaf? Can't you speak properly? Look at your clothes, what a mess, are you doing cosplay?"
