Chapter 27 Heavenly Pillar

Fugaku Uchiha felt a tearing pain coming from his eyes, as if countless needles were piercing his eyeballs.

"Uh," he let out a low groan and instinctively covered his eyes.

Blood seeped from between his fingers, slowly flowing down his cheeks, gathering into a single drop on his chin, before finally crashing heavily to the ground.

A strong sense of frustration rose in Fugaku's heart.

The first time I activated Susanoo, I was forced to this point. The pressure on my Sharingan had exceeded the limits of what my body could bear. Every blink felt like being cut by a knife.

Fugaku knew that if this continued, his eyes might not be able to take it.

The opponent's brain was connected to countless other monsters, forming a vast mental network. This interconnected mental energy was something he couldn't possibly contend with alone!

His vision began to blur, the form of Susanoo became illusory, and the flow of chakra became disordered.

At that very moment, the virus's tail suddenly swept across from the left, striking Susanoo's unsuspecting side.

With a muffled thud, Susanoo's entire body swayed.

Susanoo flew backward uncontrollably in mid-air, and every muscle in Fugaku's body was spasming and trembling.

The virus, however, gave its opponent no chance to breathe, and opened its blood-red maw once more, its fangs covered in corrosive liquid, and bit down hard on Susanoo in mid-air.

"hateful!"

Fugaku gritted his teeth and exerted all his strength to squeeze out the power of his eyes, trying to unleash the potential of Susanoo.

In an instant, a large amount of ocular power burst forth from Fugaku's eyes, surging into Susanoo like a torrent.

Susanoo burst forth with a burst of purple light, and its chakra visibly solidified.

"Boom!"

With a loud bang, a dark golden, rhomboid, rod-shaped weapon gradually solidified in Susanoo's right hand, its length almost equal to Susanoo's height.

The virus lay sprawled to the side, a huge dent in its head, its white bones exposed from its broken exoskeleton, and bright green blood gushing out, pooling on the ground.

"Is it not over yet?" Fugaku Uchiha panted heavily as he walked step by step toward the virus.

A fierce killing intent flashed in Fugaku's eyes, and Susanoo gripped the Heavenly Pillar tightly, raising it once more.

With a deafening roar, the Heavenly Pillar slammed heavily onto the virus's head, instantly creating a horrifying crater.

But Fugaku did not stop there. Susanoo repeatedly raised the Heavenly Pillar and struck the virus's head repeatedly.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Accompanied by a series of muffled thunderous roars, the virus's body convulsed uncontrollably under this storm of attacks.

I looked through Japanese mythology and found a weapon that I felt was a good fit.

As the clan leader, the weapon that awakens represents order and protection seems quite reasonable to me.

The Kojiki records: "You, Izanagi, commanded Izanami. You asked, 'Great one, how is your body formed?' Izanami replied, 'My body has both formed and unformed aspects.' Izanagi said, 'My body has both formed and unformed aspects. My body's formed and unformed aspects desire to unite with your formed aspects, to create a land.' Izanami replied, 'Yes. Izanagi and Izanami walked around the Ame-no-Mikoto (Heavenly Pillar), with Izanagi-no-Mikoto walking on the right and Izanami-no-Mikoto on the left. They eventually met and united in front of the pillar, thus beginning the process of creating the Japanese archipelago.
