Chapter 7 Crocodile

Just as Orochimaru was in shock, suddenly, a pool of red liquid spread across the ground. Wherever the liquid flowed, the ground was instantly eroded, emitting a piercing "hissing" sound and puffs of white smoke.

At the same time, a plume of red smoke suddenly billowed out from where Magellan had been. The smoke glowed with an eerie red light and emitted a pungent stench that made one want to vomit.

Orochimaru's expression changed, his pupils contracted sharply, and seeing that the situation was not good, Orochimaru suddenly leaped out of the snake's mouth and jumped quickly backward, trying to increase the distance between himself and Magellan.

However, the instant he leaped out, a blood-red bubble suddenly shot out from the red mist, carrying corrosive venom, heading straight for Orochimaru. The bubble was extremely fast, closing in on Orochimaru in the blink of an eye.

Orochimaru somersaulted in mid-air, desperately trying to dodge. But his right foot was still grazed by the bubbles. Instantly, a sharp pain shot through him, and Orochimaru's face turned deathly pale.

Damn it!

A dark red wound appeared on his right foot, and the skin around it quickly festered, emitting wisps of white smoke. The deadly poison spread along the wound, beginning to erode Orochimaru's flesh.

"Ugh!" Orochimaru groaned, sweat pouring down his face.

The next moment, Orochimaru suddenly opened his mouth wide, and a new body emerged from deep within his throat.

It was a brand new Orochimaru, detached from his original body. He was soaking wet and curled up like a newborn.

The new Orochimaru landed on the ground, while his original body turned into a pile of bones, collapsed to the ground, and was quickly corroded and dissolved by the venom.

Although the snake-skinned body had escaped a fatal crisis, its right foot was still rapidly rotting. The purplish-black toxin spread along its blood vessels, like a curse from the Grim Reaper.

Orochimaru's face was deathly pale, and his breathing was rapid. He looked down at his right foot, a resolute glint in his eyes.

The next moment, he gripped the Kusanagi sword and stabbed it fiercely into his own knee.

"Pfft!"

Blood splattered as Orochimaru severed his own lower leg with a single stroke, completely removing the part that had been eroded by the poison.

Then a python as thick as a thigh emerged from the wound and temporarily supported Orochimaru's body.

Orochimaru looked up and saw that a blood-red mist had begun to engulf the entire prison. The eerie red mist was like hellfire, and wherever it went, all life wailed and struggled.

The prisoners and guards around them, upon contact with the mist, immediately let out agonizing screams. Their skin rapidly festered, turning into a bloody mess.

"Help! It hurts! It hurts so much!"

"I don't want to die! Someone, please save me!"

Screams echoed throughout the prison, making it resemble a living hell. Those once-fierce prisoners were now nothing more than fragile ants under the fog.

However, at that moment, a large number of blood-red bubbles emerged from the mist and shot towards Orochimaru like cannonballs.

The corrosive venom dripped from the surface of those bubbles, hissing and smoking wherever it passed, instantly dissolving rocks and sealing off Orochimaru's escape route in the blink of an eye.

However, at this critical moment, Orochimaru suddenly formed a hand seal.

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"

A sudden gust of wind arose, carrying Orochimaru's chakra, and howled towards the bubbles and mist.

The bubbles were instantly blown back, and even the mist began to dissipate.

"Transformation, summoning, controlling earth and wind... what kind of ability user are you?"

As Magellan's deep, hoarse voice questioned them, the red mist that had been dispersed by the wind suddenly stopped retreating. It seemed to be summoned by some invisible force, and began to frantically converge towards the center, churning and roaring.

At the heart of the fog, a colossal figure gradually emerged. It was a giant composed of blood-red venom, standing over ten meters tall, with a burly physique and a terrifying aura. With each breath, it exhaled corrosive venomous mist, dissolving the surrounding rocks and ground with a piercing hissing sound.

Orochimaru looked up and felt an unprecedented sense of oppression wash over him. His breathing became rapid, and cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

"This guy can actually condense such a massive amount of venom!" Orochimaru frowned, his face grim. He had never felt such a terrifying aura before. If this guy appeared on the battlefield of the ninja world, he could probably decide the outcome of a battle in an instant...

"Come on, intruder!" Magellan's voice boomed from the giant's mouth, low and hoarse, like the whisper of a demon. "Let me see what else you have up your sleeve!"

"The Poisonous Giant, the Poison Dragon!"

Magellan roared, and the Venom Giant suddenly swung out his right arm, which instantly transformed into a giant venomous dragon that roared toward Orochimaru.

The venomous dragon was incredibly fast, closing in on Orochimaru in the blink of an eye. It opened its gaping maw, its sharp fangs dripping corrosive venom and emitting a suffocating stench.

Orochimaru's pupils contracted. Faced with this sudden and deadly attack, he didn't hesitate for a moment. He immediately bit his right finger, pressed it to the ground, and shouted, "Summoning Jutsu: Triple Rashomon!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the earth shook violently, and three massive city gates rose from the ground, blocking Orochimaru's path and sealing off the entire passage. The city gates were entirely black, their surfaces covered with ancient runes, emanating a mysterious and powerful aura.

The venomous dragon crashed against the city gate with a deafening roar. A thick cloud of poisonous mist enveloped the entire battlefield, and the air was thick with a nauseating stench.

However, to Orochimaru's shock, the corrosive venom began to corrode Rashomon. Cracks appeared on the surface of the gate, and the black runes began to twist and deform, emitting puffs of black smoke.

Orochimaru's expression changed drastically. He hurriedly circulated his chakra, trying to stabilize Rashomon. His hands clenched tightly, veins bulging, and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

But the venom was corroding too quickly, and Orochimaru's chakra was being devoured like a bottomless pit. He felt an unprecedented sense of exhaustion wash over him, and his breathing became rapid and heavy.

The next second, with a loud bang, the first level of Rashomon shattered. Black fragments scattered like black raindrops, landing on the ground and hissing with blue smoke.

"With skills like that, you dare to break into Impel Down? You overestimate yourself!"

Magellan roared.

The Venom Giant raised its right arm again and slammed it down on the remaining two layers of the city gate. This time, its force was even greater, and spiderweb-like cracks appeared in the ground.

Orochimaru frowned, his mind racing as he searched for a solution. He knew that if he couldn't find a way to counteract the venom as soon as possible, he would surely be defeated.

Just then, a deep voice came from behind: "Let me out, I'll help you."

Orochimaru turned around abruptly and saw a tall man standing in the cell, a golden hook embedded in his left hand, gleaming with a cold light.
