Chapter 62-063 Even Monsters Need to Learn

In a shelter ten stories underground somewhere in Tokyo.

This is an underground shelter built during the Cold War to prevent nuclear war. It is buried deep underground, and the half-meter-thick lead doors are thick and sturdy, supposedly able to withstand a nuclear explosion.

Unlike the other strange and more beast-like monsters in the classroom, this monster had a snake's head and a human body, with complete limbs, and was dressed in human clothes. At first glance, it did resemble a human to some extent, but the uncanny valley effect made it even more terrifying.

A strong, chilling aura filled the entire classroom as soon as the snake-headed, human-bodied monster appeared, causing the other dozen or so monsters to lower their heads and greet it.

The teacher sat in the seat behind the podium, picked up a red pen and began grading the test papers. His movements were swift and rapid; each paper was marked and circled in just a few seconds. This speed was also related to the fact that many test papers were mostly blank.

As the teacher revised the document, his brows furrowed, and his expression grew increasingly cold.

The monsters below, seeing their teacher's expression, were terrified and dared not even breathe loudly.

"The exam results are in. Only monsters numbered 04, 12, and 13 passed; everyone else failed!"

Within minutes, the teacher had finished grading all the papers, his tone gloomy, seemingly very dissatisfied.

"These tests are only equivalent to the academic level of a third-grade elementary school student. Why can't you even do these kinds of questions? How have I been teaching you in class? Have you been ignoring everything I say?!"

The teacher shouted sternly, and all the monsters lowered their heads as if flowers had suddenly bloomed on the ground.

"You all know what the penalties are for failing the exam. Starting with number 1, come on up!"

A one-eyed monster, trembling all over, walked over cautiously.

The teacher extended a hand covered in white scales toward the one-eyed monster. The next moment, a gray venomous snake emerged from the white coat, pounced, coiled around the monster, and bit its neck.

The one-eyed monster struggled on the ground in agony, foaming at the mouth, but the venomous snake did not let it go, continuing to inject venom and inflict further suffering.

"You only scored 30 points, so you'll be punished with 30 seconds."

The teacher took out his phone from his pocket, started the stopwatch, and 30 seconds later, the snake finally opened its mouth, hissing and flicking its tongue, staring at the other monsters in the classroom.

"Kihara-kun, let it speak."

The teacher waved his hand, his Adam's apple bobbing, and spat out a tablet, displaying the data.

"I've really had enough! I don't want to learn this bullshit human culture. As long as a monster has power, that's enough. I just want to rush into the street and slaughter all the weak humans!" The horned boar monster stomped its front hooves on the ground, creating a hole.

It turned to the other monsters and said:

"Do you want to continue learning this utter nonsense here? To be tortured by the giant snake? Let's all go on strike and start a war against humanity!"
