Douluo Continent: The Holy Evil Emperor.

Chapter 16 First Absorption of a Soul Ring

Before coming to the Star Dou Great Forest, Mu En and Ye Feng had discussed Ye Qing's choice of spirit rings.

Of course, it was mostly Mu En talking and Ye Feng listening. As a Limit Douluo with the light attribute, Mu En's research on this type of spirit ring was far superior to that of Ye Feng, a Title Douluo with the dark attribute.

Seriously, he's eaten more salt than you've eaten rice.jpg

In Moon's plan, there are several types of spirit beasts that should not be missed if encountered. The Light Unicorn is one of them, and it is one of the spirit beasts at the very top of the plan list.

In terms of bloodline strength, the Light Unicorn is no weaker than the Three-Headed Crimson Demon Mastiff.

If we follow the Soul Beast Bloodline Chart provided by Shrek Academy, then the Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King, Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear, Emerald Swan, Evil-Eyed Tyrant, and Ice Snow Maiden are among the top-tier Soul Beast rulers.

Soul beasts like the Three-Headed Crimson Demon Mastiff, the Hell Demon Dragon King, the Titan Snow Demon King, and the Light Unicorn are undoubtedly in the first tier below the top tier.

Below the first tier, only those soul beasts with extremely powerful bloodlines and strength, such as the Thunder Roar and the Silver Elite Beast, which possess their own unique skills, can be classified as the second tier.

Among all the top-tier soul beasts, light-attribute soul beasts are extremely rare.

The Bright Unicorn naturally became the top choice among top choices.

Even Moon himself didn't have the chance to find a Light Unicorn as a Soul Ring.

"I never expected it to be a Light Unicorn! My good grandson, you're so lucky!" Ye Feng said with a delighted expression, lowering his voice to explain.

"Although the Light Unicorn is not good at close combat and its physical strength is not high, its control over the light element is excellent. It is both offensive and defensive, and can also use its own light element to heal other soul beasts. It has almost developed the element to its limit."

"If it weren't for the fact that his physical strength wasn't insufficient to withstand the extreme light attribute, I have no doubt that the ferocious beast chieftain of the Light Unicorn clan could have reached the pinnacle of the light attribute, just like the Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion of the far north!"

"Using it as your first spirit ring is absolutely perfect!"

To put it bluntly, he's a fragile mage, and a mage without the heart of a warrior. His first move is a soul skill attack using the light element, and he can also cast a light shield for defense and perform light-attribute healing.

Ye Qing nodded.

This spirit beast is indeed very suitable for him.

The moment Ye Qing saw this luminous unicorn again, he felt a sense of familiarity, like that of two people of the same element attracting each other. Even just looking at it, he could feel the warm glow emanating from it.

"The age of a Light Unicorn is determined by the horn on its head. Depending on its age, the color and length of the horn will change," Ye Feng explained to Ye Qing, introducing him to the knowledge of soul beasts.

"Like this luminous unicorn, its horn is beige, which means it is a hundred-year-old soul beast. There are seven spiral patterns on the horn, which means it has been around for more than seven hundred years."

"Although it did not reach your limit, its inherent strength is enough to make up for these insignificant shortcomings."

While introducing Ye Qing to its various information, Ye Feng also paid attention to the movements of the Light Unicorn. Seeing that it seemed to have discovered the two of them and was about to escape, Ye Feng made a move instantly.

A deep tiger roar accompanied Ye Feng's right hand, which transformed into a huge gray-black tiger claw, pinning down the Light Unicorn.

At the same time, Ye Feng carried Ye Qing and flew to the front of the luminous unicorn.

"Here, just stab it through its eye and smash its brain, then you can get its soul ring." Ye Feng handed Ye Qing a short sword.

Ye Qing nodded, took the short sword, drew the blade, glanced at the bright, fearful eyes of the Light Unicorn, then gripped the hilt and plunged it into its eye, twisting it in the process.

The Radiant Unicorn, completely suppressed by Ye Feng and utterly powerless, had its brain tissue shattered by Ye Qing's short sword. After twitching twice, it completely lost its life force.

After the Light Unicorn died, a rich yellow light appeared on its corpse.

Ye Qing knew that its spirit ring was about to appear, and with a bit of curiosity in his heart, he watched carefully how the spirit ring was formed.

A series of pale yellow streaks of light continuously floated out from its corpse, eventually converging about fifty centimeters above it and gradually forming a pale yellow halo.

As the light streams converged, the pale yellow halo gradually deepened, eventually turning into a deep yellow.

The process was short, taking only about ten seconds.

"I'm going to begin." Ye Qing took a deep breath, sat down directly in front of the spirit ring, entered a meditative state using the method he had learned before, and then used his spirit power to guide the spirit ring to fall.

At this moment, the martial soul and the soul ring seemed to resonate. The soul ring, which was steadily floating in the air, slowly landed on Ye Qing's body under the guidance of his soul power.

It fell from above his head and then floated up and down around his torso.

Seeing that Ye Qing had begun absorbing the soul ring, Ye Feng didn't sit idle either. While keeping an eye on Ye Qing's condition, he also began to deal with the corpse of the Light Unicorn.

As long as it's not a poisonous soul beast, it's generally edible. The older the soul beast, the more nourishing its flesh and blood are to a soul master.

This work was compiled and uploaded by [author's name].

This is especially true for powerful soul beasts like the Light Unicorn. Combining its body parts with various spiritual herbs can greatly increase Ye Qing's cultivation speed after he consumes them.

Such a good thing should definitely not be wasted.

Ye Feng didn't make many moves. He simply held the short sword that Ye Qing had just used to kill the unicorn of light and made a few quick cuts on its corpse. He then collected the pieces of the severed parts into his soul tool.

When Ye Feng dissected the back of the luminous unicorn, a strange fluctuation of soul power made him freeze in place.

"This is……?"

……

the other side,

Ye Qing is under immense pressure.

This pressure comes from the Light Unicorn Soul Ring on his body, which he is absorbing.

A large amount of soul power surged from the soul ring and finally poured into his body. Whether a soul master can absorb a soul ring depends on whether his body can withstand the pressure of the large amount of soul power surging from the soul ring.

This uncontrollable soul power surged into his body almost all at once, putting immense pressure on his body and meridians.

If this were an ordinary level 10 Soul Master, their body would explode when the first wave of Soul Power surged from the Soul Ring, because their body couldn't withstand it.

This is where the benefits of Ye Qing's previous training became apparent.
