Reborn in America: Starting as a California Resident

"Mr. Xiang, welcome."

"Haha, Mr. Getty, you are too kind. It is an honor to have you personally greet me at the door."

The following morning at around 10 a.m., the main gate of the Sci-Fi Arcade Factory opened wide, and Henry, along with Shi Miao, Shen Fei, and other factory management personnel, welcomed Xiang Huayan and his team.

The sun was shining brightly, bathing the wide road in front of the factory, making everything appear exceptionally vibrant.

On Xiang Huayan's side, in order to demonstrate the importance he attached to this cooperation and to convey a certain special message to the outside world, he specially assembled a relatively clean business team to handle the cooperation with the science fiction arcade.

As the black Mercedes convoy slowly approached the factory gate, Xiang Huayan couldn't wait to get out of the car and warmly shake hands and exchange pleasantries with Henry before the vehicles had come to a complete stop.

Crackle, crackle.

The next moment, the five hundred firecrackers that Henry had arranged in advance began to explode;

Although he did not fully agree with the Sun Yee On triad in his heart, he still needed to show them the respect due to etiquette.

Aristocratic bearing must be maintained at all times.

Hearing the enthusiastic sound of firecrackers around him, Xiang Huayan's smile deepened.

He enthusiastically introduced a middle-aged man beside him who looked similar to him: "Mr. Getty, please allow me to introduce you to my second brother, Xiang Huarong."

He now runs his own business and rarely gets involved in the family business.

He will be fully responsible for our upcoming cooperation.

"Mr. Getty, it's a pleasure to meet you here."

Your achievements in the technology industry are admirable.

My brother told me that your company has developed another highly innovative product, and I'm really looking forward to our collaboration.

Xiang Huarong, as the second son of the Xiang family, was once one of the core members of the Sun Yee On triad.

However, that was merely a helpless measure taken to preserve the family's legacy.

Now that the Xiang family has once again taken perfect control of Sun Yee On, he has officially begun to retire from the criminal world and is gradually transforming into a "righteous" real estate businessman.

"Hehe, Mr. Hua Rong, it's a pleasure to meet you too."

I hope our cooperation will be smooth and mutually beneficial.

Henry responded with a smile, politely and appropriately.

After that, Shi Miao and Shen Fei also stepped forward to shake hands with Xiang Huayan and Xiang Huarong one by one.

After exchanging a few polite words, the group officially entered the factory.

"These are our latest products – 'American Blocks' and 'Pac-Man'."

The group entered the spacious and bright reception hall, where the interior was laid out before them.

The tall windows flooded the space with natural light, and two state-of-the-art sci-fi arcade machines were placed in the center, their unique design and exquisite craftsmanship immediately attracting everyone's attention.

Henry pointed to the two game consoles: "This is the culmination of our team's hard work."

"American Blocks" uses the most cutting-edge technology, allowing players to enjoy endless fun through simple button operations;

Pac-Man, on the other hand, is a completely new concept game that combines strategy and action elements, offering a fresh take on the fun of maze chases…

Xiang Huayan and Xiang Huarong observed the two machines with great interest, nodding in approval from time to time.

Xiang Huarong even tried out "American Blocks" himself and experienced the fun of the game.

"I have to say, the controls of this game are excellent. It's clear that sci-fi arcade games have really put a lot of effort into the details."

Upon hearing this, Henry smiled and explained, "That's true. We've invested a lot of time and effort in optimizing the user experience."

For arcade games, a good feel for the controls is crucial.

What are the hardware specifications of these two game consoles? How are their operating speed and stability?

Xiang Huayan was also attracted by the high level of the science fiction arcade game and subconsciously asked a professional question that he had not planned to ask.

He regretted asking the question as soon as it left his mouth!

He secretly blamed himself: Wasn't he just meddling?

Does he refuse to cooperate if the product quality is poor?

Fortunately, Henry was prepared for this!

He chuckled and said, "Mr. Xiang, you can rest assured about the quality."

"Both of our game consoles use state-of-the-art chipsets, which ensure that games run smoothly in most situations."

As for stability, it has undergone countless stress tests and will not experience any problems even after long-term operation.

Henry then led everyone to a game console on display and continued, "We also paid special attention to the design of the heat dissipation system to ensure that it will not overheat even after long-term operation."

"Excellent, excellent!"

Mr. Getty's user-first approach is truly a model for us to learn from.

After listening to Henry's explanation, Xiang Huayan immediately began to shower him with praise.

After that, he stopped pretending.

They directly suggested skipping the production workshop inspection and proceeding directly to the factory conference room to begin cooperation negotiations.

"Mr. Getty, do you still have any questions about the cooperation model we discussed last time?"

"If not, let's have both of our lawyers review the contract!"

"Ahem! Mr. Xiang, please calm down."

"After careful consideration and multiple rounds of discussions, we have ultimately decided to abandon your proposed cooperation."

"What? Give up? Don't you think our demands are sincere enough?"

Upon hearing Henry's reply, Xiang Huayan's expression immediately darkened.

He felt like he'd been tricked!

Why are you firing off fireworks if you're not prepared to cooperate?!

If Henry hadn't been a foreign nobleman, he would have immediately ordered his men to sink the other man into Victoria Harbour.

"No, no, Mr. Xiang, you must have misunderstood!"

"We are not rejecting cooperation, but rather want to adopt a closer cooperation model."

Seeing that the Sun Yee On members looked a little off, Henry immediately began waving his hand to correct them.

"A closer cooperation model?"

"Yes, we are preparing to establish a new joint venture with you, which will be responsible for the sales and after-sales service of game consoles in Hong Kong."

This kind of cooperation can make our collaboration even closer.

"Mr. Getty, your idea is very appealing."

We are also very willing to try this new type of cooperation.

After all, only when our interests are closely intertwined can we ensure that both sides will be fully committed.

What are your considerations regarding the specific details of the cooperation?

Xiang Huayan raised an eyebrow slightly upon hearing Henry's words;

Isn't this exactly what he wanted?

The reason he was so humble was that he wanted to establish a deeper business partnership with Henry.

He had considered similar options before, but with Fred Sassoon present and the concern that being too direct might arouse Henry's suspicion or resentment, he had to settle for a compromise.

Now that Henry has taken the initiative to propose forming a joint venture, it's a godsend for him!

He immediately nodded in agreement and asked Henry for his further thoughts.

Henry had already prepared for this!

Now that he was ready to cooperate with Sun Yee On, he wouldn't be coy or pretentious: "My initial idea is that Sci-Fi Arcade will hold 51% of the shares in the new company, and Sun Yee On will hold 49%."

Because Sun Yee On has unique channels and connections in Hong Kong, while Sci-Fi Arcade has outstanding product and technological strength.

Therefore, going forward, Sun Yee On will primarily be responsible for sales and market expansion, while Sci-Fi Street will focus on product research and development and manufacturing.

"The company's daily operations are entirely led by the Sun Yee On triad, while our Sci-Fi Arcade mainly focuses on financial investment, only sending necessary financial personnel to the site..."
