Chapter 102 Preparatory Ceremony

Fenrir bared his sharp teeth at Avery, growling softly and glaring at him menacingly.

Seeing this, Avery immediately pointed his wand at Fenrir and taunted, "You wolf cub, you want to fight me?"

Fenrir instantly transformed into his werewolf form, his fur standing on end and his muscles bulging, making the atmosphere even more tense.

The other Death Eaters, not wanting to escalate the situation, tried to dissuade the two, but it was too late.

"Thunder Explosion!" A blast spell struck Fenrir in the chest, blasting his chest into a bloody mess.

Fenrir collapsed to the ground, panting heavily, blood gushing from his wounds.

Everyone stared at Avery in shock, even he himself was stunned, looking down at the wand in his hand, wondering when he had reached the level of being able to unleash magic at a moment's notice.

But then he realized what was happening and shouted, "Intruder!!"

A high-pitched phoenix cry echoed from the sky, followed immediately by a violent explosion from the third floor. The Death Eaters' eyes all turned towards the third floor.

"Fire at once!" Wes seized the moment of chaos among the Death Eaters, and countless golden orbs shot out from the tip of his wand, heading straight for the surrounding Death Eaters.

The Death Eaters reacted immediately, shouting "Protect Yourself!" in an attempt to defend against the sudden attack. However, their defensive spells proved fragile against Wes's powerful offensive, breaking through almost instantly.

"Freeze immediately!" Before the Death Eaters could retaliate, they were covered by a thick layer of frost and unable to move.

Wes wasted no time, packing the frozen Death Eaters into his briefcase; these Death Eaters would be of great use to him.

Just as Wes closed the briefcase, Nagini darted down from the third floor, and Wes, of course, wasn't going to let it get away.

He immediately raised his wand and cast the Petrify Charm to freeze him, but Nagini dodged the attack thanks to his agile body and movement.

"That won't do." Wes adjusted his strategy, and as he waved his wand, the entire second floor of the church seemed to come alive.

Countless arms stretched out from the wall, reaching out to Nagini silently like ghosts.

Nagini initially relied on brute force and agility to evade the arms, but the number and speed of these arms far exceeded its expectations.

Finally, one arm grabbed Nagini's tail, and the other arms quickly followed, securing it firmly.

Nagini hissed in frustration, struggling to break free, but to no avail.

Just as Wes had successfully subdued Nagini, Dumbledore arrived late, looking somewhat disheveled and covered in dirt.

"Is Barty really that good?" Wes asked, looking at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore sighed, a hint of weariness on his face: "Voldemort must have taught him some powerful dark magic. If it weren't for Fawkes, I probably would have really fallen for it."

As for the specific type of dark magic, Dumbledore didn't elaborate, and Wes wasn't interested in magic that required self-sacrifice.

A flicker of sympathy crossed Dumbledore's eyes as he watched Nagini struggle. He and Nagini had some history, but ever since she was permanently transformed into a snake and became Voldemort's Horcrux, Nagini had become completely loyal to Voldemort, treating others with either indifference or malice.

Wes noticed Dumbledore's hesitation. "Don't you want to do it?"

Dumbledore was silent for a moment before slowly speaking: "I suspect there are more than six Horcruxes. I'm afraid that Harry was also made into a Horcrux without Voldemort's knowledge."

Wes already knew this.

"so?"

"I haven't yet figured out how to get rid of Voldemort without harming Harry," Dumbledore admitted, adding that even he found it challenging. "Nagini is a blood cursed host; I've seen her in human form. I think Newt might be able to help and see if he can restore Nagini."

Wes cautioned, "At least don't let her get away; Voldemort could very well use her body to resurrect."

"Of course." Dumbledore nodded, then chanted a spell, turning Nagini into a small snake. Fawkes flew over, gently picked up the snake, and prepared to take it away from the scene.

Just then, the other members of the Order of the Phoenix arrived. They looked around but couldn't find a single Death Eater.

"All taken care of?" Moody was somewhat disappointed; he had been hoping to deal with a few Death Eaters to vent his anger.

"Restore this place to its original state, without attracting the attention of Muggles," Wes instructed. "Also, the Golden Cup is in Bella's vault in Gringotts. I think you have a way to retrieve it."

After saying that, Wes Apparated and left.

"Dumbledore, the Death Eaters under his command should be..." Moody had some thoughts about the Death Eaters captured by Wes.

Dumbledore stopped him from continuing: "We have many other things to do, let's not worry about this for now."

Fudge's targeting, along with other dark wizards and dark creatures, are all stirring.

And then there's Harry's situation; now is not the time to worry about the lives of a few Death Eaters.

Instead of returning to Black's old house, Wes went to the Fountain of Youth from Pirates of the Caribbean.

His sudden appearance startled the five mermaids, causing them to huddle together in fear.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

"Ladies, if you're lucky, you'll be free today."

The cave was too small, so Wes went to the island and carefully inspected it. After confirming that there were no intruders, he ordered the undead on the island to kill any intruders without mercy.

Then, he began to set up a magic circle.

He found a flat spot, and Wes first constructed a basic circular outline before beginning to draw intricate magic runes.

This task was extremely meticulous and time-consuming, taking a full three hours to complete.

As he finished the last stroke, Wes wiped the sweat from his brow and chuckled self-deprecatingly, "I guess only I would prepare a sacrifice for myself."

Once everything was ready, Wes opened the briefcase, and Jandy came out pulling on a chain.

Seven Death Eaters were chained behind the chain, each of them tightly bound. They also sensed that something terrible was about to happen, and their bodies trembled incessantly.

When Peter Pettigrew saw Wes approaching, he completely broke down, collapsed to the ground, and wailed.

Jandy produced a leather whip and lashed him hard, but Peter refused to stand up no matter what, having lost all courage and dignity.

Weiss walked over to Peter and looked down at him.

Peter, as if grasping at a straw, began kissing Wes's boots: "Lord Erwin, give me a chance..." His voice was filled with despair and pleading.

Wes covered Peter's mouth, preventing him from speaking.

"Of these seven people, I think you're the best." Wes's words made Peter's eyes light up, thinking that things had taken a turn for the better.

However, Weiss's next words were like a bucket of cold water poured on Peter's heart: "You've been very lucky, escaping from dire straits several times. I hope your good luck can help me complete the sacrificial ritual."

Peter's eyes dimmed instantly, his heart filled with fear and despair.
