Chapter 103 Departure

The seven Death Eaters were positioned on the outermost edge of the magic circle, each with a small magic circle beneath their feet. These small magic circles were connected to the large central magic circle, forming a complex whole.

As for why it's seven people, "seven" itself is a number full of magic and symbolism, and it occupies an important position in many ancient magical rituals.

Without the wand, these Death Eaters had no way to escape.

Wes arrived at the center of the magic circle, ready to begin this crucial ritual.

Jandi also walked into the center of the magic circle, holding a Philosopher's Stone that was larger than himself, and knelt on the ground with a solemn expression.

"Ready? Let's begin," Wes commanded.

Then Jandi began to pray aloud, "Mysterious ruler who traverses endless worlds, seeker of mystery, all-knowing and all-powerful king of secret arts."

"Your humble servant prays to you."

Jandi knelt on the ground, holding the Philosopher's Stone aloft, looking so devout; he was truly completely absorbed in it. As he prayed, a fierce wind began to rise around them, but the air within the magic circle remained unusually calm, isolated by an invisible barrier.

Large patches of dark clouds began to gather over the island, shrouding the entire island in gloom.

The magic circle glowed with a red light, which grew stronger and more blinding. As Jandi uttered his last word, the Philosopher's Stone began to disintegrate.

At first, it turned into a dark red fluid that flowed slowly. Wes watched the process closely, afraid of missing any detail.

Then the fluid began to split in two, one half being a bright red that looked full of life; the other half being an unsettling black, as if something was struggling inside.

The black liquid is formed from the condensation of thousands upon thousands of wronged souls, all of whom are filled with intense resentment and pain.

The vengeful spirits fixed their malevolent gazes on Wes, knowing that this was the man who coveted the power of the Philosopher's Stone, and were therefore filled with hostility.

Weiss felt a chill run down his spine and, not daring to delay, immediately activated his pre-prepared backup plan.

The magic circle beneath the feet of the seven Death Eaters began to activate, emitting a bright light. The gazes of the vengeful spirits were drawn to it, and they could no longer suppress their resentment.

They split into seven dark shadows, each lunging at one of the seven Death Eaters, then burrowing into their bodies, gnawing at their flesh and sucking their souls.

The Death Eaters writhed on the ground in agony, letting out piercing screams. Their fingers carved bloody lines into the ground, their flesh and bones becoming mangled and exposed.

Besides being tormented by physical pain, their spiritual suffering was no less intense.

A few minutes later, countless tiny black hands emerged from the magic circle, wrapping around the Death Eaters' bodies and gripping them tightly.

The places on their bodies that were touched began to crack, their skin gradually turned to ash, and then slowly dissipated into the air.

Soon, the dark clouds in the sky slowly dispersed, and sunlight shone down, falling on Wes. He closed his eyes, feeling the abundant life energy within his body.

This power not only made him feel stronger than ever before, but also greatly extended his lifespan. Some of the energy lay dormant in his cells, waiting to be gradually absorbed.

"This feels amazing!"

Wes clenched his fist. As a wizard, he hadn't specifically trained his body, but now he sensed a significant improvement in his strength, agility, and reflexes.

He swung his arms, trying to adjust to the sudden force. "I need to get used to it."

Over the next few days, Wes's physical strength increased every day. He had boundless energy and bombarded the island with spells every day, venting his pent-up energy, which caused great harm to the island's flora and fauna.

Once Wes had fully grasped the surge of power, the panel changed.

Host: Wes Erwin

Worlds: Marvel; Harry Potter; Delicious in the Labyrinth; #@Alchemy%¥; Pirates of the Caribbean; The Mummy; Fairy Tail

Occupation: Wizard/Apothecary/Alchemist

Level: 5

The wizard's level has increased by one.

While it doesn't bring about a qualitative change in magic power like advancing to the fourth level, the main improvement this time lies in physical strength.

But no matter which path you choose—magic, immortality cultivation, or martial arts—a strong body is the most important element.

You can't go far if you only excel in one subject.

"Body, mind, and soul are equally important! Perhaps I should learn some swordsmanship and martial arts?"

An image flashed through his mind: in the heat of battle, the enemy had barely managed to dodge his magical attacks and was trying to get close to him, while he himself was holding a greatsword, completely lost and helpless. This image made him laugh.

"That's quite interesting." Wes's lips curled up, and he began to have new expectations.

"The next world is the world of Fairy Tail, where mages combine magic and physical skills, which might be something we can learn from."

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Wes decided to learn from their experience and improve his close-combat abilities.

"It's time to leave Hogwarts. I've copied all the books in the library over the years, enough to keep me busy for a while. The world of Harry Potter is generally too peaceful; there's no point in staying here any longer."

Once a decision was made, Weiss immediately put it into action.

"You're resigning?" Dumbledore put down the book he was holding. He had just been looking up how to solve Harry's problem, and he didn't expect Wes to actually want to resign.

Although he had expected it, Dumbledore still wanted to retain this capable assistant.

Wes shook his head, declining Dumbledore's offer to stay: "The Ministry of Magic has assigned Umbridge to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, and she also has the right to judge professors. If I stay at the school, I will definitely clash with her."

Dumbledore nodded; he had heard of Umbridge's style of doing things.

She came to Hogwarts not just to become a professor, but also on Fudge's orders to cause him trouble, preferably to bring him down.

Of course, these were all excuses from Wes; he had already made up his mind to leave.

Seeing that Wess was determined, Dumbledore had no choice but to agree.

"Dumbledore, when we meet again, I will have left you far behind."

Dumbledore was taken aback for a moment, then smiled slightly, stood up, and extended his hand to say goodbye to Wes.

"I understand your decision, Wes. You've already found your path, and I believe you'll go even further. By the way, Hogwarts will always welcome you back."

The two exchanged a smile, and Wes turned and left Dumbledore's office.
