"Why not?" Wes said confidently. "Fight me again and expose that you know Ice Make magic. I've heard you're just a 'weak' mage. Don't you want to explain to Leon why you're hiding your strength?"
Urutia was furious, but he couldn't show it.
"Damn it, who are you? What do you know?"
"This has nothing to do with you."
"No matter who you are or what your purpose is, don't interfere in my affairs. You can't afford the consequences if you ruin our plans."
Urtia, enraged, threatened Wes again.
Wes was clearly not buying it and instead threatened her: "It seems you have an organization behind you. I'm actually more interested in that."
He pretended to suddenly realize something and continued, "I knew it! How could these kids possibly have the ability to transport Deliora to this island? This island and the ritual for collecting the 'Drops of the Moon' were all prepared by your organization long ago, weren't they?"
Urudia's pupils contracted sharply, her anger instantly turning into shock.
Who exactly is this guy?
"But you don't need to worry, I'm not one to meddle. I won't stop something as interesting as resurrecting Deliora, but..." Wes paused deliberately at this point.
Ultear's alarm bells immediately went off. [This guy definitely had ulterior motives.]
"When you fought me, besides using Ice Shape magic, you also used another kind of magic," Wes said calmly. "That was the lost magic 'Arc of Time,' wasn't it?"
Urudia was shocked and took a few steps back, almost stumbling and falling.
How did you know?
Lost magic is called lost magic because it is extremely difficult to master, so much so that the number of successors is decreasing with each generation. Now, almost all mages have never even heard of it.
In Urutia's eyes, Wes was becoming increasingly mysterious.
"Tell me how to cultivate the 'Arc of Time,' and I'll keep it a secret for you, how about that?" Wes seized the opportunity to make a deal.
"Dream on!" Urudia refused almost immediately.
"I see. Then I'll just have to tell Leon that you know 'Ice Shaping Magic.' I think he'll be very happy to know that you're a fellow disciple." Wes said, making a gesture as if to leave.
"Damn it, stop right there!" In her desperation, Urudia revealed her true voice.
"Oh, she's a young lady," Wes said, but he didn't stop walking. "I have to tell Leon this good news right away."
"Damn it, I told you to stop!" Ultear angrily waved her hand, and an ice wall instantly rose up, blocking Wes's path. The temperature in the air plummeted, and a thin layer of frost covered the surrounding vegetation.
Wes stopped and turned around, laughing, "Is this really a good idea? Using 'Ice Shape' magic here, aren't you afraid of attracting Leon's attention?"
Ultear realized her impulsiveness, chanted a spell, and with a wave of her hands, the ice wall disappeared as if it had never existed.
The power of the Arc of Time quietly erased any trace of the ice wall's existence.
"No matter how many times I see it, the 'Arc of Time' is always amazing." Wes' eyes were fixed on Ultear's every move, and he secretly regretted that he did not have the ability of the Sharingan to copy it.
His praise sounded like a blatant provocation to Urudia. "You bastard!" she angrily prepared to teach this arrogant brat a lesson.
Just then, Leon rushed over: "What's going on? Why is there fluctuation of ice-shape magic here?"
Ultear quickly adjusted her expression, feigning a look of trepidation: "It's the 'Moon Drop' that's working. This is a sign that the Ultear seal is about to be broken, Lord Leon. Your long-cherished wish is about to be fulfilled."
Upon hearing this, Leon was overjoyed: "That's wonderful! All of this is thanks to your efforts, Saludi."
"No, it's all thanks to your excellent leadership, sir," Urudia said with a humble smile.
As Wes watched her shamelessly praise Leon, he couldn't help but look at her with newfound respect.
No wonder she was able to infiltrate Leon's inner circle for so long, even deceiving Jellal, one of the "Ten Wizard Saints".
If I hadn't been familiar with the plot, I might have actually been fooled by this cunning woman.
"Keep a close eye on this guy, don't let him ruin our plans," Leon instructed before leaving, showing no suspicion of Ultear's true intentions.
Once Leon was out of sight, Urudia finally felt relieved.
"How cruel, Leon trusted you so much."
"Shut up!" Ultear's face turned ugly again. "The 'Arc of Time' will never be given to you, and you are not qualified to control it at all."
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
"Yeah?"
Wes knew it was almost impossible for him to extract the 'Arc of Time' right now, so he decided to settle for second best: "Then I'll collect the magic circles of the 'Drops of the Moon'."
Urudia felt somewhat relieved upon hearing this, as she was able to fulfill this request.
But she also had a little scheme in mind: [Since this guy wants something, could I take this opportunity to manipulate him a bit?]
However, Wes wasn't going to play any tricks on Ultear: "Give it to me now, immediately! If I find that the magic circle you give me is fake, or has been altered in any way, we'll fight immediately!"
"You bastard!" Ultear clenched her fists angrily, wishing she could punch Wes' arrogant face.
But she dared not take the risk.
Ultear knew Wes's strength well; if she were to fight him, she would have to go all out.
For her, personal safety was not important, but the current plan was at a critical juncture, and any mishap could lead to total failure.
Therefore, Urtia had no choice but to swallow his anger for the time being.
"Here you go." Ultear suppressed her anger and threw an ancient book containing the magic circle of the 'Drops of the Moon' to Wes.
Weiss took the book and carefully examined its contents.
Over the past few days, he had been closely monitoring the operation of the magic circle and had become very familiar with its key components.
After verifying several key details, he confirmed the authenticity of the magic circle.
Urutia did not have enough time to tamper with the data.
After confirming everything was correct, Wes nodded in satisfaction and put the books away. "Very good, we won't have any conflicts for now."
