Chapter 112 The Imposter

There must be Ultear's interference behind this, or it could be Hades, the former second guild master of Fairy Tail and the chairman of Devil Heart.

The Devil Heart's ultimate goal has always been to awaken the legendary Dark Mage Zeref and use his unparalleled power to rule the world.

Hades was convinced of this, and he firmly believed that they could achieve their ambitions through Zeref's power.

To achieve this goal, they spared no effort, even resorting to the resurrection of the powerful ancient demon Deliora as an attempt.

And this is just a small step in their grand plan.

Leon knew almost nothing about any of this.

In his view, he was the mastermind behind this incident, and that he orchestrated it all through his wisdom and strength.

Little did he know that he was merely being used as a pawn by Hades and his associates, and was kept completely in the dark.

This naiveté and ignorance amused and pitied Wes, who was watching from the sidelines.

Weiss was not a meddlesome person; as long as he could achieve his own goals, he didn't care about the fate of others.

Therefore, even knowing the truth, he chose to remain silent.

At that moment, Leon's two subordinates, Jerry and Yuka, walked over from a distance.

Jerry was still a little girl, her face still showing signs of immaturity;

Yuka, on the other hand, is a mature young man with a shrewd look in his eyes.

Upon seeing Wes standing to the side, Jerry immediately asked, "Who is he?" Her voice sounded exceptionally clear.

"Jellie, Yuka, this is Wes," Leon introduced briefly. "He's not familiar with this place yet, so please show him around."

Jerry pouted, not entirely satisfied with the arrangement. "I just want to stay by Leon's side."

She muttered to herself, completely oblivious to the implication in Leon's words.

In contrast, Yuka seemed more experienced. He nodded, understanding Leon's meaning: "Leave this to me."

For the next few days, Wes stayed obediently in the ruins and didn't go anywhere else.

He focused all his attention on the magic circle.

Every day, he would spend a lot of time studying those ancient runes and patterns, trying to find the patterns in them.

Yuka was extremely frustrated.

I originally thought Wes would be moving around so I could better monitor him, but I didn't expect Wes to be so focused on studying the magic circle.

Yuka could only stand helplessly by, watching Wes work diligently, muttering to himself, "What on earth is this guy doing?"

"You two take over for me for a bit; I feel like I'm going to mold these past few days."

Yuka's roar echoed in the air, but Jerry and Toby ignored it and continued with their own tasks.

While feeding her large rat, Jelli casually remarked, "Let Saludi replace you when he gets back. Why did Saludi take so long to go shopping this time? We've almost finished our snacks."

Yuka became even more agitated upon hearing this.

He bared his sharp teeth, almost bursting out: "Can't you two help me out a bit?!"

Jellie simply shrugged and continued tending to her pet, while Toby was completely absorbed in his own world, showing no interest in Yuka's complaints.

Just as they were arguing, a small boat silently docked at a secluded harbor.

A middle-aged man with an ordinary face walked out. This middle-aged man was actually Ultear disguised using transformation magic.

Ultear stretched and muttered, "Honestly, the Tower of Paradise, the Council, Galna Island—so much stuff is piling up on me. Is the Guild Master trying to kill me with work?"

She sighed and continued to complain, "I don't know how to create clones, so I can't do the work of two people. But luckily, Deliora's seal is almost empty."

Urudia composed herself, scanning her surroundings to make sure no one noticed her arrival.

She took a deep breath, completely immersing herself in the role of Saludi. Then, she adjusted her pace and expression, ensuring that every detail was identical to Saludi's, before walking towards the ruins.

"Fortunately, everything is going according to plan." Ultear felt a little better thinking about this.

She arrived at the ruins center, ordered her men to fetch supplies, and then quickly went to check on Deliora's condition.

After confirming that everything was under control, she turned and walked towards Jerry, Yuka, and Toby.

"Jellie, Yuka, Toby, the things you asked me to buy have all arrived."

Jellie immediately skipped over, "Thank you so much, Saludi!"

Toby eagerly came over, complaining, "Thanks, this place is so desolate, I've already finished reading all my magazines."

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Yuka, as if seeing a savior, said, "Sarudey, you keep an eye on this guy for me, I'm going out for some fresh air." Without waiting for Ultear's response, he rushed out of the ruins.

"??" What does she mean?

Ultear had just returned to the ruins center when she was completely bewildered by Yuka's sudden actions. Before she could react, Wes's voice came through the phone.

"Hello, Saludi."

Urudia whirled around, her pupils shrinking: "It's you? What are you doing here??"

Her hand involuntarily clenched into a fist, and she subconsciously wanted to attack Wes, but then she quickly stopped herself when she realized there were too many people around.

Toby looked at the two of them curiously and asked, "You know each other?"

"We met once in Harugion," Wess said with a forced smile. "We had quite a fight."

Toby looked at Urudia in disbelief: "Sarudi caused a huge scene with you? Saludi isn't good at fighting."

"Is that so?" Wes raised an eyebrow, a hint of provocation in his tone. "His ice..."

"Shut up!" Ultear shouted, a wave of panic washing over her. She couldn't let Wes reveal any more about her true identity.

Jellie stopped what she was doing: "What are you talking about? Saludi, did you really fight him?"

Toby and Jelli were startled by Ultear's sudden roar.

In their eyes, Urudia, who was disguised as Saludi, was always a mature and steady middle-aged man who never lost his temper.

"What I mean is... leave this guy to me, I'll keep a close eye on him." Ultear quickly adjusted her tone, trying to calm the tense atmosphere from before.

Toby and Jerry exchanged a glance. Although they felt that Saludi was acting strangely today, they still trusted him completely.

"In that case, this guy is yours," Toby said, and Jerry nodded in agreement.

The two naive guys were easily fooled by Ultear, and they continued with their work as if the incident had never happened.

Urudia breathed a sigh of relief. She walked over to Wes and whispered, "You'd better not say anything more, or I won't be polite."
