"Are you telling the truth?" Leon asked.
"I have no reason to lie about something like this."
Wes's words actually convinced Leon.
"Will Fairy Tail get involved in this? It seems we have to take precautions in advance," Leon said with some worry.
No S-class mage is easy to deal with. If their resurrection of Deliora is exposed, it will definitely attract the army of the council.
At that point, it won't just be a simple failure of the plan; all of them will be identified as Dark Mages by the Council.
Most of the people involved in this plan were unfortunate victims whose homes were destroyed by Deliora; they wanted revenge but lacked the power to do so.
So they found Leon, believing that as Uru's disciple, he could surely kill Deliora.
Leon didn't want them to become prisoners, and he was even less willing to see their hopes dashed.
"hateful,"
Leon was still just a teenager, and faced with such a complex situation, he couldn't think of a solution for the time being.
Wes easily discerned his hesitation.
Wes spoke up at the opportune moment: "I can help. If you and I join forces, even an S-class mage won't be able to escape."
Leon looked up and stared at Wes, his heart filled with mixed emotions.
While Wes's words sound like a solution, working with such a powerful and unpredictable opponent is undoubtedly dancing on a knife's edge.
However, there seems to be no better option given the current situation.
"Leon, what he said seems to make some sense."
Toby's voice carried a hint of uncertainty; he knew his abilities were limited and he couldn't help Leon much.
Leon was still a bit stubborn: "No need. With your help, Yuuka's help, and Jelly's help, I'm not afraid of even the entire Fairy Tail crew."
Toby was moved to tears by Leon's bold words, and said in a choked voice, "Leon, you're amazing! I'll stop Fairy Tail even if it costs me my life!"
"Did you hear that? We don't need help from some unknown guy like you," Toby said, wiping away tears as he waved his hand, trying to shoo Wes away.
Wes's gaze fell on Leon; he was waiting for Leon to speak, for only Leon was qualified to make the final decision.
"You can stay, but you must be under our surveillance."
This was a difficult decision Leon made after weighing the pros and cons.
"no problem."
Wes readily agreed; the surveillance was meaningless to him, and if he really wanted to get rid of it, it would be a piece of cake.
"Leon," Toby whispered in Leon's ear, "this guy doesn't look like a good person. Are we really going to let him stay?"
Leon nodded slightly. "Of course I know that. But it's too difficult to stop a mage who knows spatial magic. It's better to keep him under our watchful eyes."
"So that's how it is." Toby suddenly understood and looked at Leon with admiration.
"Furthermore," Leon lowered his voice again, "if what he said is true, we can push him to the front when the Fairy Tail mages enter the island, which will buy us some time."
Leon thought that although this method was simple and crude, it was the most effective way at present.
"I see, Leon, you're really smart," Toby exclaimed sincerely.
Only someone as naive as Leon could come up with such a brainless plan, and only someone as talented as Toby would believe it.
Wes ignored the two people whispering in front of him; whatever they were discussing, as long as it helped him achieve his goal, that was all that mattered.
"Come with me."
Leon and Toby headed toward the ruins, with Wes following behind.
"Don't try anything funny, I'll be watching you." Toby glared fiercely at Wes, warning himself inwardly.
We can't let our guard down; who knows what kind of scheme this guy might be plotting?
Wes raised his hand to indicate that he was an honest man.
Once we get close to the ruins, the rest will be much easier.
Toby didn't trust him and followed Wes closely, keeping a close eye on him as if afraid of missing his every move.
With Leon's guidance, Wes successfully entered the ruins.
As Wes ventured deeper into the heart of the ruins, the surrounding magic grew increasingly intense.
The surrounding area was filled with purple mist, indicating that the lunar magic here was extremely concentrated.
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
Finally, he arrived at an open space, where a group of mages dressed in purple robes were doing their best to maintain a complex magic circle.
This magic circle looks extremely complex, with countless runes and lines intertwined to form a complex pattern.
Each rune shimmered slightly, emitting a soft blue light. At the core of the magic circle, moonlight was focused into a bright beam.
The moonlight over this sea was all gathered together, refined and condensed layer by layer, finally transforming into a single drop of purple liquid. This drop of liquid slowly dripped onto an iceberg underground, emitting a faint glow. Ripples spread across the surface of the iceberg, accompanied by subtle sounds.
Despite the complexity of the magic circle, the purple-robed mage's movements were remarkably coordinated.
Their hands traced intricate trajectories in the air, constantly adjusting the magic circle's operation. With each change in their gestures, the runes and lines trembled slightly, making the entire magic circle seem like a living, breathing organism.
Wes observed all of this with curiosity, trying to figure out how the magic circle worked.
However, he lacked a clear understanding of the magic in this world and could only grasp a superficial understanding.
He could sense the powerful magic contained in the Moon Drops, making them excellent materials for crafting potions.
Wes's gaze was fixed on the complex magic circle, and he secretly pondered how to master this powerful magic.
If he could master this magic circle, he could collect Moon Drops in different worlds, which would undoubtedly be a huge boost to his future.
However, his focused expression made Toby look like he was daydreaming.
"How about it? Never seen one before, have you?" Toby proudly raised his head, looking at Wes with a disdainful gaze, as if he were looking at a country bumpkin.
Wes ignored Toby's taunts and continued to gaze at the iceberg below. A thin layer of frost covered the iceberg.
He pointed to the iceberg and asked, "What's that?"
"That's Deliora, the demon who once ravaged the north. That's our objective," Leon replied.
Wes knew their purpose.
However, transporting Deliola from the north to this island was no easy task in itself.
This requires avoiding the council and various mage guilds.
This is not something Leon and his group can accomplish.
