Chapter 121 Capture Alive
Chapter 121 Capture Alive
"Ugh!!"
Even Erza found the powerful electric current unbearable, but she did not stop what she was doing.
"Clang!!"
With her second sword strike, she decisively severed the restraints around her neck.
The other four rings released electricity again, and Erza's body involuntarily twitched.
"what!"
She let out a painful howl as the intense electric shock caused her to fall to one knee.
She gripped the sword hilt tightly, struggling to stand up again.
"Gravity Spell!!"
As Wes's spell fell, it felt as if Erza was weighed down by a thousand pounds, causing her to fall heavily to the ground.
"Da~"
"Da~"
"Da~"
Wes saw Erza lying on the ground in pain, and slowly approached, staring at her from this angle, which gave him a sense of superiority.
"The Fairy Queen, even an S-class mage is nothing special?"
"Pah!" Erza spat out a mouthful of blood, stubbornly saying, "Don't underestimate me!"
"what!"
As soon as she finished speaking, ropes shot out from the four rings, binding Erza tightly. Her body trembled violently from the shock of the electric current, each current feeling like countless needles piercing her skin, leaving her powerless to resist.
She struggled with all her might, but to no avail; she could only watch helplessly as she was bound.
"Looks like you're still pretty stubborn."
After saying that, Wes took out a round device from his pocket and pressed it against Erza's chest.
Erza immediately felt five cold mechanical legs pierce through her armor and dig deep into her flesh.
A strong sense of powerlessness followed, and her magic was being rapidly drained away.
"Waaah~"
Erza let out a soft moan, her face pale.
Wes gently lifted her chin with his fingers. "What kind of magic can you trade for? I imagine your guild leader won't be stingy."
"asshole!"
Erza has never felt so helpless since joining Fairy Tail.
"Don't try to use me to threaten the guild!" Each struggle brought new pain, and sweat slid down her forehead.
"Don't waste your energy, you can't break free by brute force..." Wes kindly reminded her.
Erza ignored it and instead focused her attention on the device on her chest that imprisoned her magic.
[Drain my magic, then I'll let you absorb as much as you want!!!]
Erza silently recited the command, then poured all her magic into the device.
As magic was injected, the device began to emit black smoke. With a large amount of black smoke being emitted, the small device had exceeded its designed limits.
At the same time, Erza evenly distributed the remaining sliver of magic power to her limbs, using all her strength.
"Click"
The rope snapped, and Erza leaped backward and rolled to create distance between herself and Wes. The entire sequence of movements was fluid and took less than three seconds.
Wes did not stop her and even applauded Erza.
"A commendable performance; their perseverance under these circumstances is truly admirable."
Wes picked up the broken props, a hint of regret in his voice, "I didn't even have time to upgrade them before you broke them."
Erza seized the opportunity to quickly devise a plan for what to do next.
Her magic was almost depleted, but her stamina was still plentiful. Retreat was undoubtedly the best option, but she couldn't abandon Natsu and her other companions.
Erza is not the kind of person who would abandon her friends.
Her armor vanished instantly, replaced by red lantern pants adorned with yellow flame patterns and white accents, while her upper body was tightly wrapped in bandages around her vital areas.
She was barefoot, and tightly gripped the demon sword, Red Cherry, in her hand.
This is her most primitive form, completely abandoning the defense and bonuses provided by armor.
"This posture is definitely not that of a mage."
"A barrage of bullets!"
Countless bullets rained down, but Erza, with her extraordinary agility, weaved through the hail of bullets, each leap precise and accurate.
She gripped the demonic sword Crimson Cherry tightly and thrust it straight at Wes's throat.
Wes teleported behind Erza.
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
"Thunderous explosion!"
Erza instinctively rolled to the side to avoid it.
Before she could catch her breath, Wes had already split into four clones, and the five Wes surrounded her in a pentagram shape.
Then they simultaneously thrust their wands into the ground, and a huge magic circle appeared, with Erza at its center.
Countless magical chains began to attack Erza relentlessly.
At first she was able to dodge the chains, but as the chains got faster and faster, she struggled more and more.
[No, we'll be caught if this continues! We have to break out of this magic circle first!]
Erza dodged the attacks of the chains while surveying her surroundings, preparing to attempt a breakout.
Her first choice was to break through to the left.
However, Wes's clone, who was guarding the area, easily repelled her with a single magic missile.
"Don't even think about escaping. I will slowly exhaust your strength and make you my bargaining chip."
Erza wasn't one to give up easily, and she tried to attack from behind again. Unfortunately, she was repelled once more.
Seeing that she was still so tenacious, Wes activated his clone and raised his wand, firing magic bullets of different attributes.
Although these magic projectiles weren't very powerful, they were enough to repel Erza time and time again.
During Erza's breakout, one of the magic bullets struck her in the abdomen, even knocking her back several steps.
[Damn it, if I had armor, this level of attack...]
Erza was extremely anxious, but she hesitated for only a second before a magical chain wrapped around her left wrist.
She decisively swung her sword at the chains, but the chains remained intact.
"It's no use," Wes said, pointing his wand. All the chains in the magic circle lunged at Erza like snakes, wrapping around her limbs, neck, thighs, and arms.
Erza was once again bound hand and foot and hung in mid-air.
Wes took out a bottle of potion, pried open her tightly closed mouth, and poured the "Water of Life and Death" into her mouth.
Looking at Erza, who was gradually becoming dazed, he kindly explained, "Don't worry, this isn't poison, it's just a strong sleeping pill."
"Damn it..." Erza struggled to keep her heavy eyelids open, but before she could finish speaking, she completely lost consciousness.
Wes looked at the unconscious Erza, but the corners of his mouth did not turn up in a smile.
Erza's strength should not be underestimated; without a carefully laid trap, capturing her would be no easy task.
However, the relaxed expression on his face lasted only a second before his gaze shifted to the side, and he said in a deep voice to the seemingly empty space, "Come out, haven't you had enough of this show yet?"
